We breathed in each other, soaking in the rapture. Never had I ever felt so close to another human being. His touch became gentle and caring, his kisses worshipping my very existence.

He pulled away momentarily and
spoke
freely without any hint of struggle, “I’m yours angel. Completely.” It was a surrendered, resolute promise. Intense in its delivery. Profound in its meaning.

Glowing with joy, kissing his nose, each eyelid, both cheeks and then his chin, I stared into his beautiful eyes, finally observing the truth before me. He was really seeing me for who I was. Not Chloe but Holly Jenkins the twenty-one year old girl who even through my blindness had always tried to make a difference in other’s lives and who had looked for the best in people. Someone that I knew he was proud of. Whether fate had brought us together or Chloe herself had played a part, it didn’t matter. What did matter was that this was where I belonged. Where my heart belonged. Jax moved me to places I’d only dreamed of. He made me feel, period. I wanted this wounded sexy man with everything I had.

“Always!” I breathed out a second before I connected my mouth fiercely to his knowing that this was just the beginning.  Ours. Holly and Jax.
