“I’ll have to check the roster when I get back to work tomorrow. Could be a while, unless we can meet after my shift?” she suggested.
Evelyn nodded. “I’ll ask her. She lives a couple of streets from where I live, so we could get back home together.”
“Evelyn,” Ana said. “I know it’s short notice, but if she’s home do you think we can go and see her, or better yet come and see us before we leave? I know Gabe wouldn’t be comfortable with us going to her house.”
“Or we could meet her at your house, that would work right?” Kelly suggested too.
She nodded. “That would work. No pressure on both sides. This would just be a preliminary meet to see if you guys get along enough for you to want to hire her. If not, we can continue looking.”
“Right, make the call,” Ana agreed. “If she’s available, then I’ll try and swing that by Gabe.”
A few minutes later, they were given a two hour head start to meet with Jessica London. They promised Eva they would introduce her to Jessica if they felt they wanted to hire her for the job. They actually found Jessica just parking as they arrived. Evelyn opened the door to her house and they all piled in and took seats in the sitting room. Two guards searched the house and gave the all clear then they relaxed.
Evelyn went around and did the introductions. Ana and Kelly shook hands with Jessica. Ana’s first impressions of Jessica were all good. She didn’t seem like a prissy person. She didn’t doubt that they would get along just fine. Besides she had a great welcoming smile.
She smiled as she told them about herself.
“I
’m Jessica London. I’m an Event Planner, but specialize in small to medium sized events, be it weddings, office parties, Christmas parties, Christenings etc. Some of my clients have asked me why small to medium sized. That’s because there is more of the personal touch in them, it’s not just commercial. I have a team of three other members, and together we make up London Events. Feel free to ask me any questions, but before we get into details, I usually like getting a rough idea of what my clients are looking for. So why don’t you tell me what you’d like, Ana?”
“Well, just to be upfront. Although this is my wedding, some of the ideas will definitely be coming from my best friend, Kelly,” she said and lifted her hand. “We’ve known each other for a while now and she’ll know what I like and don’t like. So feel free to ask her anything if you can’t get hold of me.
” Ana took a deep breath and went on. “Anyway, I do want something small. How many people? I have no idea right now. Heck, I don’t even know the date to be honest. Kind of crazy if you ask me, but I just haven’t had time to agree to a date with Gabe.”
“Do you envision something less than six months away, more than six months or more than a year?” Jessica asked her.
“See this is where I get confused. I want something small, but I still want it done right. It has to be a memorable day for me. Gabe wants to have it in a month if he can, but what kind of a wedding can be arranged in a month?”
They all laughed and agreed.
“Believe me, weddings can be arranged in as little as three days. It all depends on how flexible you are and what you are willing to compromise and what you cannot compromise on. Knowing that beforehand, makes the planning easier despite the roadblocks. The size of the guests will determine what venues we can look at vs those that we shouldn’t even bother to look at. Do you want a garden venue with a tent or just open or something indoors? What kind of flowers? Your colors? The cake? Church? Judge, priest or pastor?” she laughed at their expressions. “It can be a lot, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming if you can give me clear instructions and a clear direction.”
“As a little girl, I just dreamt myself walking down the aisle. All the…,” Ana said waving her hand, “…were just there. Just done somehow.”
“Believe me, I know. But you don’t have to come up with everything at once. All you need is to start somewhere and the rest will just sort themselves out after that.”
Ana leaned forward.
“The guys are about to invade us,” she said. “Jessica, you’ve got yourself a deal.” Ana extended her hand. “I’d like to hire you, Jessica. If you can have a contract ready, Gabe and I can sign it whenever you want.”
Jessica beamed. “Thanks,” she said shaking Ana’s hand. “And please, you can all call me Jes.”
“We really don’t want to micro-manage the whole planning, maybe we can meet again when we have more information. Why don’t you just e-mail us a list of things you need from us and we’ll see what we can bring back to you.”
“I can do that. If you can come up with a date and an approximate number of guests, that will help me start looking for possible venues for you.”
Evelyn rushed to her kitchen and came back holding a bottle of champaign. “This deserves a celebration of sorts girls,” she said filling flutes with the champaign and handing them around.
“To the best wedding ever,” Evelyn toasted.
“No pressure, Jes, “ Ana said smiling at her.
They clinked glasses and drank up as the door opened and they were no longer alone. Ana introduced her finance to Jes, then she introduced the rest of the brothers and then Stefano and Mitch. Stefano joined them as Jes then told the girls about her little company and how it had all begun.
Ana was glad that she had gone with her instincts and chosen Jes. She was a couple of years older than her, but her journey was almost similar to hers. She had started her business in high school doing simple small party planning events for small birthday parties and house parties.
In college she had continued doing the same thing and even went on to do some corporate events for the college for various departments. From there things had just happened and she had grown little by little, but kept it to manageable sizes by concerntrating on the small sized events.
Next she had branched into office parties and weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, christenings and baby showers or baby welcomes.
“We should put you in charge of the bachelor and bachelorette parties then,” Ana suggested.
“So long as you don’t hire strippers for the guys,” Kelly told her.
“But you can hire strippers for us,” Evelyn added.
“Do you think you can get us Magic Mike?” Ana whispered. “Ummm, Jes. Before I forget, your loyalty lies with us girls, not with the men.”
“That means, you cannot give away our bachelorette ideas to Gabe or any of the men,” Evelyn warned her. “Especially Mitch.”
“And Rafe,” Kelly added.
They all looked at Stefano. “Stefano?” Ana asked.
“Yeah, I’m in. Did you even have to ask?”
“Are you girls done yet
,” Gabe asked coming to stand behind the sofa.
Ana looked up to him. “
Yes, we’re done.” She stood up and shook hands with Jes again. “Jes, Evelyn will give you my e-mail address and Kelly’s too. I guess both phone numbers as well. Just start by sending an e-mail to all three of us and we can start a chain of e-mails among the four of us.”
“Thanks again. I’ll try to make it a great day for you.”
“We’re leaving too, so we’ll see you out,” she said to Jes. “Evelyn are you staying or leaving,” she asked.
“Oh, I’m definitely staying. But I’ll see you tomorrow or Tuesday. I’ll come by your new offices,” she told Ana.
Ana looked towards Mitch then she leaned over to Evelyn. “I’ll need details sister.” She laughed at Evelyn’s frown and stepped away.
“What she said,” Kelly told Evelyn and hugged her goodbye.
They walked outside with Jes and saw her get into her car then drive off.
Whew, Ana thought. She certainly had a lot to think about. Who knew the amount of details into a good wedding were that much? If only it was like her little girl dreams. She could just agree to marry Gabe next week and they would be done. Now the biggest challenge was going to be agreeing on that magical day. If she allowed Gabe to bamboozle her, she would be walking down the aisle next week, if not tomorrow.
She had been putting off that little detail, but now she realized she needed to tackle it head on. It’s not like she didn’t love Gabe, or she wanted to wait. No, it was a matter of making sure she wore the right dress. Wasn’t that every girl’s dream? All the other details, she was willing to compromise, as long as she had the right dress. If only she knew how long it would take before she had the right dress, then she could confirm on the date.

Ana said goodbye to Kelly when she and Gabe were dropped off, before the SUV was driven the few feet to the next buil
ding Rafe and Nate lived in. They had left Evelyn and Mitch at Evelyn’s house, and Stefano and Manuel had indicated that they were staying the night in New York since Stefano had to report for his first day at work tomorrow, but would be passing by Manuel’s house in New Jersey to pick up some clothes for him.
Ana thought Manuel should just move houses. Soon enough Evelyn would move in with Mitch, so he would be the only sibling left in Jersey.
Ana dropped her purse on her closet island. Gabe was right behind her, but stood leaning against the doorway. She turned around and they looked at each other. “So…”
He smiled. “So…”
“When do you want to get married. Not next week, or next month. Too soon,” she clarified.
“The month after that?”
Ana shook her head and walked over to him. “I’m not sure I can get a dress by then. It takes time you know.”
He took her into his arms. “Ana you know I want to marry you as soon as possible. I want you to have the best wedding possible, so whenever you are ready. Just don’t make it more than a year. Even a year as it is is way too long.”
“What about…” she swallowed. “Jeremy Maynard?”
Gabe tensed, then slowly relaxed. “We’ll have the best security can buy. I don’t want him to spoil your day.”
“Our day, Gabe.”
He kissed her. “Every day with you is our day. I love you, baby.”
Ana kissed him back, with hunger. “I love you too, Gabe. Very much.”
“I need you Ana,” he said.
“Gabe,” she said and pulled his lower lip between her teeth.
“Now, “ he mumbled and opened the button in front of her shorts. He undid the zipper and pulled her shorts down then quickly removed her t-shirt. Next he moved to the front clasp of
her bra and as he undid it, her breasts pointed at him. He groaned and sucked one, pulling hard at the nipple, until Ana moaned and pulled his head forward as she pushed her breast further into his mouth.
She pressed her thighs together
trying to get some relief. Gabe pulled her closer as he held the small of her back with one hand, then he droped his other hand and found her core already wet for him. “Open wide for me, Ana.”
“Gabe, please. I need…”
“I know baby. I’ll take care of you.” He switched to the second breast and gave it the same attention as it’s twin.
He slipped one finger, then two and started moving them inside her. Ana moaned and gripped his shoulders tigh
ter, her nails digging into his flesh. When he added a third finger, she groaned and dug deeper into his skin.
“Come baby. Come for me, Ana,” he whispered as he
popped her breast out of his mouth and rose up to take her mouth. “Now Ana.”
Ana thrashed against his body as she climaxed, crying into his mouth. Limp, she fell against him, and he held her tight against his body.
Gabe picked her and walked the few steps to her island, then set her down. He turned her until she was facing the cabinet. “Hold tight baby,” he told her then unbuckled his belt and dropped his pants to the floor. Gabe’s underwear quickly followed his pants. He slapped Ana’s butt and she yelped in surprise. He came to stand behind her and held her hips steady as he thrust deep inside. They both groaned in unison.
“Your shirt,” Ana whimpered. “Take it off. Please, I need to feel your skin.”
Gabe leaned back and removed the t-shirt he was still wearing, then he leaned against her and she moaned. He straighted and pulled her to lean against him.
So full. Ana moaned and wondered if she could survive whatever Gabe had in
mind. He squatted and thrust back high into her. His palms cupped her breasts, kneading them slowly. Ana entangled her fingers with his and cried out when Gabe took her nipples between two fingers and gently pulled. “Gabe, please.”
He
spread her legs further apart. Ana felt like she was going to fall any second. She grabbed the island countertop and held on as Gabe started moved in and out of her squatting as he pulled out and rising as he pushed back in. Ana felt delirious, too much, but unable to temper it down or stop it for that matter. He kept pounding into her, pounding and pounding until Ana’s climax took her high above and carried her back down where she lay limp against Gabe.
Gabe growled and pumped faster. He held Ana tighter against his body as she slumped against
him, thrashing in excitement. “Ana,” he hissed. “Ana! Ana! Ana!” Gabe pinched her clit and Ana screamed, thrashing wildly against him as they both climaxed long and hard.
Gabe felt drained. “Fuck, Ana!” He drew a labored breath and loosened his hold on her. “Don’t move yet, baby.”

She woke the next morning, excited for her first full day as an employee of a corporation. With the freedom to continue doing what she had always done, Ana didn’t feel nervous at all. She knew her clients would continue to receive the same treatment and benefits. She would continue to service them the same way, and then after several months start weaning them slowly as she taught others to take over and handle the same issues she had been handling all along.
Once that was in place, it would devote more time for her to write more programmes which could earn more revenue for Sullivan and Sullivan. Tom had the potential for writing a good game. Ana thought she would push him towards that direction once they settled. That would keep him out of trouble.
Gabe insisted on taking her to work. He even exited the limo with her and walked her to her door.
“I feel like a first grader, on her first day of school.”
“The
difference is,” he said and kissed her, “that first graders don’t receive,” he said punctuating with another kiss, “kisses from their,” and another kiss, “fiances.”
She smiled against his mouth. “Mmmm, you could be right.”
He kissed her deeply then released her to take a breath. “I am right,” he told her and took her lips again.
The clearing of someone’s throat made Ana step back, but Gabe held her tight against his body.
“Yes,” he growled to the intruder.
Ana tried to hide behind Gabe. It wouldn’t do to be caught kissing on her first day of work.
Ana laughed when she heard Rafe’s voice saying, “No office romance.”
She laughed even more, when Gabe growled at
him. “Fuck off, Rafe!” she squealed when the next instant, he took her lips again in a kiss meant to ignore Rafe.
Ana pushed him away. “Gabe you need to go. Otherwise my boss will fire me, and on my first day too.”
He laughed and grabbed her neck then pulled her back against him and kissed her until he was good and ready. “Now, you can go to work,” he told her and walked away from her. He reached Rafe, and said something Ana didn’t catch, but sound like, “Fuck you. Go kiss your own girlfriend.”
Ana shook her hea
d as she walked towards her desk and sat down in her chair. It seemed strange having to drive to go to work. In a few days time, Manuel would be done with her home office and she would get to work from home when she needed to.
Everything was going to be an adjustment for Ana. For the good, she hoped. So far, things seemed to be looking up. The only black mark was Jeremy Maynard. New York was such a busy and crowded city. How did one catch someone who didn’t want to be found? Ana wondered how the cops even managed to keep up with any suspects they were on the hunt for.
Ana worked quietly alone, setting up her logins on the machines and making sure everything was running smoothly. She exported her contacts from her old e-mail address to the new one, and set up an automatic response in her old e-mail for clients to contact her at the new address she had for Sullivan and Sullivan.
Next she composed a generic e-mail which she sent to her clients, giving them her new e-mail address and contact details.
That together with the letters she had sent out should be enough warning about the changes.
Once that was out of the way, she started getting ready for Tom’s arrival. Their first order of business was to check into their employers’ vulnerability. She knew Tom would get a kick out of it. Hopefully they didn’t find too many loopholes, otherwise Nate and Rafe wouldn’t be happy. But at least if they got to close the gaps, that’s what counted.
It wouldn’t make sense to be hacked when they had a hacker as an employee. That would just be hilarious. That was going to be their selling point. Ana jotted that down in her notebook.
When Tom came in, Ana s
howed him his work station and let him set up his passwords and gave him a list of programmes he needed to download. She knew that would probably take him the rest of the afternoon, and hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday they could get down and dirty.
She was just finishing off her lunch when she received some bone chilling news
from the hospital. Ana rushed out of her office, grabbing her handbag on the way and went to find Rafe.

Evelyn woke up in her bed, but with a male body beside her. A hard male body. She needed to conclude her business with her troublesome client then she would take a few days to relax and tackle the next client. She was meeting him in his office at ten. Since she had nothing else scheduled, that gave her the much needed time to relax and sleep in. Coincidentally, she desperately needed the extra hours of sleep. Mitch had been insatiable throughout the night.
‘Be careful what you wish for,’ Evelyn thought as Mitch grabbed her again. Not so long ago, she had been bitching about
her lack of sex to Ana and Kelly. Now she was getting plenty of it and she was complaining. What did she really want? Sex or no sex? She did want the sex, but hey, she also needed the sleep too. Before she could say a word, Mitch had her pinned down and was already thrusting into her. He lifted her legs and wrapped them around his waist and started moving in and out of her.
Heat was flowing throughout her body. The pleasure was indescribable. No words could do
justice to what her body was going through. What her body had gone through since meeting Mitch. Evelyn couldn’t even compare her past lovers with Mitch.
That would be like comparing a Maserati or Lamborghini to a Ford or Nissan. So unfair. So how, in three months time, would she be able to go back to her regular ‘Fords’? Not possible. So would she then be doomeed to a sexless life?
Maybe use her trusted vibrator?
She grabbed Mitch’s head and pulled him down for a kiss. She put all the passion she was experiencing into the kiss, telling him that her body thanked him. Nothing could put it to words. and as they say, ‘Actions speak louder than words’.
Mitch allowed Evelyn to lead the kiss. He responded by holding her hips and butt with his hands, and helping her to meet his hard thrusts. His hold was tight, and he knew his fingers would probably leave marks but he just couldn’t get enough of her.
It was insanity. Everytime he thought he had fucked her hard and they would both disappear into oblivion, he would feel his cock rising and aching for her pussy. Nothing helped. Short hard fucks, long and sweet love making, everything at the end came back to him wanting her again and again.
And he had taken her again and again. All Night Long. And every night after today. He just needed to make sure he persuaded her to see things from his point of view once the three months were up.
He swallowed her cries of ecstacy. She bit him and he reared up, slamming harder than he had intended into her. Evelyn whimpered and shivered in delight and felt Mitch elongate inside her, starting another rou
nd of orgasms running through her body.
Mitch twisted and growled his satisfaction, crushing hard into Evelyn who lay as limp as a rag doll. They were both drenched in sweat, but he didn’t have the energy to think much about it for now. He dropped to her side and breathed hard, trying to get some air into his lungs.
Who needs to exercise in a gym when they have an Evelyn in their bed at night or in the mornings? Mitch snorted and turned his head to look at her. She looked relaxed and at peace, sleeping like an angel. The feelings of possessiveness that flowed through him shocked him, but for some strange reason didn’t frighten him. Was this what his mother had always told him? That it was like being hit by a freight train.
Mitch watched her sleep for the next couple of hours. When he realized he would have to eat pop tarts, hot pockets or whatever it was for breakfast, he rose from the bed and cradled her to his chest, taking her to the bathroom. She woke up slowly as he whispered into her ear.
He smiled in satisfaction when she whimpered in pain, not able to walk. She wouldn’t be able to forget anytime soon who had shared her bed. And he intended that she never forget for however long they lasted, which if he had his way would be more than three months.
But to say it was for eternity was stretching things too far. His work wasn’t made for long term relationships. And he didn’t think he wanted a wife underfoot him all the time. If things went well, he could proposition her to be his mistress.
That seemed like something that could work for both parties. No ties and no false expectations of future ties.
