“Come on Cammy, we are gonna be late!”

“I know Davey, I’m coming,
I’m coming!” Cammy said as she flew down the stairs of the house, across the driveway and into the car that Davey, her brother was waiting in.

“Turn on the air Davey, it’s so humid, my curls are going to fall out”

“Bitch, bitch, bitch, blah, blah, blah” Davey said as he flipped on the a/c in the Beemer.

Cammy and Davey got to St. Mary’s High with only a few minutes to spare before the bell would go off and they would be late. They ran to their homerooms and would meet up again at lunchtime, like always. They were twins, not
inseparable, but they clung to each other most of the time. They were starting their senior year and had gone to St. Mary’s since kindergarten so they knew everyone and everything there was to know at the school and the church.

“Sit down, the bell has rung” Cammy’s teacher, a nun, dressed in the usual penguin attire was rapping on her desk with a ruler
. The class was unruly and hard to settle. Her first class of the day would be English, her favorite subject. She sat in her assigned seat and waited for penguin to take roll. Just as Penguin was calling out names, the classroom door swung open and there he stood. Cammy sat straight up in her chair, as did most of the girls in that room and got a good glimpse of him as he strolled on in, so cool and nonchalant.

“Are you Brock?” penguin asked.

“Yes”

“Yes what?”
Penguin was miffed.

“Yes, I don’t know, what?” He answered.

The class snickered and Penguin again hit the desk with her ruler and all was quiet again.

“Yes
Sister will be the correct answer from now on Mr. Brock.”

“Oh, sorry, yes
Sister, got it” Brock said back to her.

Penguin pointed to his seat and he sat down. He sat across from Cammy and caught a good look at her as he was sitting. He gave a wink and a half smile. Cammy’s heart was all aflutter.

Cammy Hudson was the kind of girl that guys would line up to jump off a bridge for, for a few minutes of her attention. She wasn’t conceited, but was aware of her looks. Cammy had a thick mane of dark brown hair that fell down her back and across her shoulders, beautiful blue eyes to get lost in, flawless porcelain skin, and pouty, full pink lips that looked as if they were begging to be kissed. She stood five feet and seven inches tall, slender and small breasted. People seemed to turn their heads and look at her everywhere she went. Davey, her twin, was the exact same height, yet more muscular with masculine touches to his face and stronger eyebrows to frame those blue eyes. When they were together, they looked as if they should be in an ad or on a billboard somewhere. They took after their father Dean, a very handsome man of only 36.

His name was Hayden Brock. Cammy heard the
Penguin call his full name out in role. He had a deep, sexy voice, no puberty high and low voice like a lot of the guys had. She stared at his structure while Penguin obsessed over the syllabus for the semester. Hayden had on the black uniform pants and a black polo. His pants were tight on his thighs, which probably meant he was muscly. Cammy stared at the side of his face, the curves of his lips, the long eyelashes that stood out from his green eyes, his skin, sun kissed and his cheeks stubbly. Hayden’s hair was full and lush, wavy, a darker brown with sunny highlights running through it. He was beautiful. Cammy tried to concentrate on what Penguin was spouting, but all she could focus on was him. Her body tingled from head to toe every time she looked at him. Class ended and she waited to get up to catch another glimpse. Hayden stood up from his desk, headed for the door and turned to her to give her a full, mega wattaged smile from his lips she had been staring at. She smiled back. She wasn’t shy. Cammy and Davey’s father had a music store on Woodward Avenue, so they had always been around people, strangers, musicians, etc., they worked there and had to be social because of it.

“Cams, did you see the new guy?” Jalen was beaming at lunch.

“Hell yes, I did. He’s in my English class, first period.” Cammy winked at Jalen.

“Well, don’t look now, but Dave is headed this way with him now”

Jalen Emerson was Cammy’s friend since they met in junior high and was also Davey’s girlfriend, but only Cammy called her brother Davey, he didn’t allow anyone else too.

“Hey guys. Hey babe” Davey leaned into Jalen for a kiss.

“Hi Babe. Let’s go eat” Jalen tugged on Davey’s arm and the headed to the cafeteria line. She shot Cammy a mouth open look, like she was saying haha!, then turned around.

“Hi” He spoke.

“Hey, we have
English together. Cammy Hudson. You are Hayden Brock right?”

“Yep, that’s the name they gave me. Hey can we smoke somewhere here?”

“No. But I can take you somewhere where no one will catch you, if you want”

“That’d be awesome. Do you mind?”

“I just offered didn’t I? Buy me lunch first and we can eat it there”

Cammy directed him towards the cafeteria line and reached for two wrapped burgers, tator tots and two cokes. Hayden paid and Cammy took him up to the roof of the school. They wouldn’t get caught. Cammy knew the hiding spots, the yeses and
no’s of the school. They sat against the wall and ate in the sun. When Cammy reached for her coke, Hayden did too and they touched hands. Her thighs lit up like fire. She was in trouble, but maybe trouble is what she needed. She watched Hayden smoke, drawing in deep breaths and blowing them out. He relaxed with each puff he took.

“What are you doing here. Conversion?” Cammy laughed after she said that.

“Hardly. Got into some shit with the Pops again and I have to shape up. This is gonna be a fun year.” He grinned and took another puff.

“It’s not so bad Hayden” Cammy lightly slapped his arm.

“Well, it did lead me to you huh?”

“What?”

“You ever been up her with another boyfriend?”

“Nope. Just my bro Davey and Jalen”

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

“Kind of forward aren’t you?”

“Yep. So do you?”

He was cocky and arrogant, so sure of himself. This was something new to Cammy. She had never dated anyone quite this sarcastic.
She had never dated anyone at St. Mary’s that was her rule.

“No, I don’t Hayden. Why?”

“Do you want one?” He lit up another one.

“Who’s inquiring?”

“I am” He grabbed her hand and held it up in a playful way.

“Tell ya what Brock, take me out on a date,
maybe get to know me a little, then I will let you know, ok?” Cammy smiled at him.

“You got it Cammy. Take me up here
every day this week, then I’ll take you out on Friday. Do you go to parties”

“Umm ya. Just cuz this is a
Catholic school, it doesn’t mean we are all uptight prudes”

“Cool” Hayden shot a smile back at Cammy. They got up and walked down the narrow hallway to the second floor of the school from the roof. Hayden held her hand down the stairs in case she lost her balance. His hand was so rugged yet soft, his fingers locked into hers as if they were supposed to be there, supposed to fit so perfectly. Cammy didn’t want to let go. She wanted Hayden for herself. She had dated other guys, but not like him, his body, his face was much more mature, he had been around, he was already 1
8 over the summer. He had a car, he had experience with girls she could tell. He made her heart melt and her body moan just by looking at her. Friday wouldn’t get there fast enough.

                        Friday

“Ready?”
Hayden was standing at the bottom of the stairs in Cammy’s house.

“Let’s go”

Hayden was there to get Cammy just as he had said at 8:30. Davey and Jalen were out somewhere and Dad was still at the store. Cammy had showered after school and primped and preened on herself longer than usual for this date. She smelled flowery and musky, having body sprayed herself, even her hair from head to toe. Her scent made Hayden’s senses swim. He looked so good in his jeans and black tee, so different from school. He had more stubble than usual and smelled like woods and musk, a smell that Cammy felt in the pit of her stomach, in in her body everywhere. She knew they were going to a party so she wore jeans and a flowy light blue blouse that made her eyes stand out. Cammy wore black combatish style boots and her scented hair was loose and full with waves flowing all around her. She knew she looked good.

“Hop in Cammy” Hayden held open the door of his
dark grey Camaro for her. He breathed her in as she slid into the car.

“Nice car Hay” She said as she got in.

“Did you call me Hay?”

“Yea”

“Oh ok. Have never been called that before.”

“Good, then I’m the first”

“My Dad bought me the car last year. It’s like a payoff thing, for not being around, some bullshit, but whatever, I love it”

“Who wouldn’t
?”

Hayden star
ted the car with a roar and away they went to a friend’s party in Huntington Heights, not far from where Cammy and Hayden both lived in Michigan.

Hayden held her hand as they walked through the crowd of people into the house where the party was taking place. It was the usual scene, people everywhere, kegs,
drunken people being stupid, the smell of pot and the infamous beer pong or quarters going on. They grabbed a solo cup of beer from the keg and met Jay, Hayden’s buddy. This was Jay’s house. His parents were obviously out of town. He was cool and cocky too. He told Hayden I was fucking hot, and Hayden said back, I know, but that I was off limits. I liked that. All five foot nine inches of him, claiming me already. We found a spot in the backyard to talk and chill amongst the trees. We talked about what we did and didn’t like in our short lives so far. How he lived with his prick dad who was a doctor and always gone, his mom lived in Florida with another man, and he was usually alone, running the house, no brothers or sisters. He already knew some things about me from Davey, since they had become fast friends already.

“I want to kiss you so bad Cammy” Hayden was holding my hand and staring into my eyes.

“So what are you waiting for Hay?”

Hayden moved towards Cammy and put his hand under her hair and onto the nape of her neck. He pulled her towards him and turned his head to kiss her lips. He enveloped her with his
mouth, tasting like beer and mint gum. Hayden had had a lot of practice with the ladies in his 18 years and it showed. Cammy just took him in and held her lips hard onto his, putting her hands into his hair. They stayed like this for a few minutes then went to Hayden’s car for privacy. His hands were all over her body, over her clothes. Cammy had other boyfriends before, but none that made her feel like this, made her want more.

“So Cammy, do you have a boyfriend?” Hayden stopped kissing her and asked her again while staring into her eyes.

“Yes I do” She answered.

“Bummer, who’s the lucky guy?” He pretended to be sad.

“You wouldn’t know him. His name is Hayden Brock” Cammy said while biting her lower lip and still staring into Hayden’s eyes.

“I’m so happy that I got sent to St. Mary’s. Thank you Mary! Thank you Cammy”

“For what?”

“Being mine. Being so damned beautiful”

Hayden held her tight to him and they stayed in this embrace for a few moments before she was once again overtaken by his scent, his touch, his voice.

And so this is how it was to be Cammy and Hayden, forever?

                          Tonight

It had been weeks since that
inevitable first date and kiss that Cammy and Hayden had shared. They had become entangled in one another every chance that they got. Cammy worked for the music store with Davey a few nights a week, then rushed to Hayden’s house after that. They were always alone with his Dad working long hours. This alone time was always spent in his room, exploring one another. Cammy didn’t have the experience that Hayden did. The furthest she had come to having sex was a few hand jobs and saying no, then being dry humped a few times. Hayden had been with many girls sexually. His good looks and his muscular mature body spoke for him and drew them in. He had been running with a bad crowd endless parties, smoking pot, drinking, fucking around any chance he got, that’s what landed him at St. Mary’s his senior year. He was also extremely intelligent, so school was no chore for him, he breezed right through, never studying, just winging it and usually getting all A’s. Hayden set Cammy ablaze. His hands moved her in ways she had never felt. She wanted to be with him. He wanted to be with her since the first time they met.
