Jim kissed her billowy lips tasting her sweetness. Kissing her neck down to her breast, he playfully teased her, and licked her nipples. Slowly descending from her breast, Jim took his time exploring Katrina’s firm tanned body. He discovered new places that aroused Katrina and tickled her.

Jim continued to move down to her tummy …down to her hip…down to her... Katrina moaned arching her back, and ran her fingers through Jim’s long blonde hair. Pulling him up for a kiss, she whispered, “Jim I want you inside me now.”

Jim woke up early
and flicked on the television. He flipped through the channels and stopped when he noticed the cute news anchor, and thought he would listen to what she had to say…

“Good Morning. It is 7:00 AM on Tuesday, July 27
th
.  I am Elisa De Stefano and you are watching
News 12 Long Island
. We begin this hour of news with a tragic mystery. It seems that an Islip woman Alyssa Lang has gone missing and foul play is suspected. She was last seen leaving a local Bay Shore bar, The Sundown Club on Saturday night.”

“I can’t believe this shit is in the news,” Jim said out loud, but he was alone in his bedroom. The news anchor continued…

“Suffolk County Police want to question this man Paul Prescott in connection to Miss Lang’s disappearance.” A disheveled mug shot of Trailer Park materialized to the right of the perky news anchor. The picture was taken after a DWI arrest the summer before.

“Look at you Trailer Park,” Jim said to the TV, “you’re fuckin’ famous!”

Elisa De Stefano continued… “Witnesses say he was the last person to be seen with Miss Lang. Prescott’s truck was found in the parking lot of Vans Boat Yard at the Maple Avenue docks in Bay Shore. There was broken glass and blood found in the cab of Prescott’s truck. Plus Police report that according to the owner Mr. Richard Vans, one of his boats
The Bitter End
is also missing.”

“Police are asking that if you have any information of the whereabouts of either Alyssa Lang or Paul Prescott that you call their hotline 852 –
COPS
.”

“We have to take a commercial break now, but stay tuned for traffic and the weather. Plus we’ll have more of
Channel 12 News-
twelve weeks of summer.”

Jim laughed as he shut off the television and said, “Good luck fuckers. You aren’t ever gonna find them… not unless you start sifting through fish shit.”

The Howlers were playing
the last song of their set at The Sundown Club in Bay Shore. Tyler Watts threw down an earth quaking back beat. Mike Vans worked the bass line that made the groove irresistible to the ladies, getting them to shake their asses in front of the stage. Jim brought the color to this jam with an eruption of quick descending notes to ring out the low rumble of an E Minor chord.  Jim cut the chords reverberation with a quick chop of the pick, like when he chopped off Trailer Park’s head. The bass and drums began to decrescendo. Then Jim said…

“Hey everybody thanks for coming out here and partying with us tonight. This has been one crazy week of ups and downs for me and the band. First my ex-girlfriend is missing and one of my best friends too. So far there hasn’t been word about either one of them. I do hope they come back safely, because that will add to the good fortune that The Howlers have experienced this week too. On Wednesday me, and Tyler back there on the drums, and Mike over here on the bass. We inked a record deal with Blues Breaker Records!”

The Howlers fans went wild and began to chant… “Howlers!… Howlers!… Howlers!…”

“And it’s all thanks to you guys! We couldn’t have done it with out you!” Jim pointed out towards the crowd. Mike and Tyler stomped the beat in a combined crescendo with Jim’s screaming guitar solo. The Howlers raised the heat of the club with the fervor of a Voodoo ritual. A group of women gathered tightly in front of the stage dancing in wanton gyrations, suggesting lurid intentions. They dragged random men into their circle as the music drove them wild.

Katrina, April, and Jenny watched the band from backstage. They were just as spellbound as the audience witnessing The Howlers performance. The grinding rhythm increased in intensity building towards an orgasmic release. The last note… a low monstrous groan off of the
Fender
guitar reverberated off the walls and faded with the stage lights into black. Then Jim sang…

“You done me wrong… now there is only one way to put things right.”

A white light illuminated Jim as The Howlers brought the groove in behind him. Jim continued to sing…

“You done me wrong little girl… now there is only one way to put things right.”

Jim attacked B5 chord with four quick stabs of the pick down to A5 as he sang…

“That’s with you dead and gone…”

The music stopped and calm silence, like the eerie quiet that follows a storm, filled the club as Jim sang the last line of the chorus in a low bluesy growl….

“That’s the only way I’ll be satisfied.”
