“Hey,” he whispered, tilting my chin and taking my face in
his hands.

He bent down and rested his forehead
against mine so I was looking at him.

“I
came prepared hoping this would happen.

I can’t lie about that.”

He
kissed me.

“I know your family has
warned you about me over the years.”

He
waited for me to agree.

“What makes you
think it’s different for me?”

I frowned in thought.

“When my family finds out about me and you, we’ll be getting
it from both sides.”

I hadn’t considered the other side of the coin.

“When I’m with you, I don’t care about what my family
thinks.

I don’t care about being the
perfect CEO.

All I care about is being
with you.”

He kissed me on the lips,
slow and long.

“Being alone with you,
right now, if you said you just wanted me to hold you, that’d be okay.”

I looked into his dark brown eyes and believed him.

His eyes never wavered.

That’s when I decided.

When I was with Nathan I wouldn’t be a
Johnson.

We’d just be Nathan and Chloe.

I placed my hands on his chest and just held
him.

“I believe you.” He nodded as I
said this. “I want you more than ever.” I barely had the breath, kissing him.

“May I?” He placed his hands on my hips.

I nodded and he smiled.

He slipped my knickers down my hips and
pulled them down my legs.

I placed my hands on his shoulders for balance as I stepped
out of my underwear.

As he stood back up
he was biting his lip.

The sight of him
doing that worked me up again.

I
launched myself at him wrapping my arms around him and crushing my chest to
his.

He gripped the back of my thighs
and wrapped my legs around him.

As I did
this I felt him move against me.

His
moans excited me and so did his hardness.

He turned around and climbed onto the bed, grabbing the
condom wrapper as he did.

I was still
clinging to him as he placed me down on the bed so my head was supported by a
pillow.

Nathan ripped the wrapper off
the condom and quickly sheathed his hard cock.

“I want you inside me.” I stroked his chest.

“Fuck, baby.” He gasped.

“Don’t say stuff like that to me.”

He settled his weight back in between my legs and I wrapped
my thighs around his hips.

I felt him
take his shaft in hand and guide himself into me.

As his head slipped in I tightened my legs
and placed my hands on his ass.

I pulled
him into me and felt him bite down on my shoulder.

I moaned with every nip.

He began slowly moving, all the while letting
out these raspy moans that were driving me insane.

“Nathan.” I moaned.

“Fuck me, Nathan.” I groaned, grasping the back of his head.

I pushed upwards, rolling him backwards and
straddled his hips.

He looked surprised
I was taking control.

His large palms
slipped onto my hips and I began rocking faster.

I placed my hands on his chest and began
moving up and down.

His hands quickly
grasped my breasts and he began pinching and rolling my nipples.

As he did this I covered his hands with mine
and began moving faster.

I’d never been
a very sexual person but with Nathan I couldn’t seem to get enough.

“Fuck, baby.” He gasped, sitting up and sucking my right
nipple into his mouth. He gripped the tops of my shoulders and pressed me down against
him, rocking me tighter into him and biting the top of my breasts.

I gripped the back of his head and brought his lips to
mine.

I began thrusting my tongue into
his mouth to mirror the way his cock was fucking me.

I was moving up and down so fast.

He must have sensed I was close as he placed
his hands on my hips and began slamming me down on his cock.

He flopped back down on the bed all the while watching me
move and pulling me up and down his hard shaft.

“Fuck, I love seeing your tits bounce like that.” Nathan began thrusting
up so hard that all I could hear was his balls smacking against me.

“Fuck, that’s… right there Nathan.” I gasped.

“I’m gonna…”

That was all it took.

He grabbed the tops of my arms and pulled me down so he
could kiss me.

His hands slipped down to
my ass and he pulled me against him several times as he pounded into me.

“Come for me, baby, come all over my cock.”

I came so hard I bit down on his bottom lip.

I felt a drop of his blood drip into my mouth
and felt him crush his hand to the back of my head to keep me there.

“Fuck, Chloe, that’s it.

Fuck,” he yelled out.

We came together and as I tightened around him I felt him
explode.

Our breathing settled and I
realized I was still on top of him.

I
rolled over to his side and felt the loss.

He quickly pulled the used condom off, tied a knot in it and
disposed it in the bin by the bed.

He
jumped out of bed and I noticed how tight and muscular his ass was.

He flicked the light off and came straight
back to me, slipping under the quilt, tucking the blanket in around me.

Nathan placed his arm around me and stroked the skin on my
hip.

I settled my head onto his chest and stroked the muscles there.

“Who knew my girl could get so turned on?” He chuckled.

I snuggled my head into his chest so he couldn’t see the
embarrassment floor my cheeks.

“Hey, don’t be embarrassed with me,” he whispered, rubbing
my back.

“It was extremely hot.”

As he kissed the top of my head I felt completely blissed
out.

Chapter Eight

“Chloe, we’re going to be late!” Nathan yelled through my
closed bedroom door.

I’d changed four times already.

I’d never done this before and I was nervous
as hell.

I’d gone from a blue dress to
red then black until finally going back to blue.

“Almost ready,” I yelled back, sitting down on the bed and
sliding my matching navy blue heels on.

The
door opened, I looked up to see Nathan walking in.

He looked agitated which I wasn’t sure was
due to what we were about to do or due to me taking forever to get ready.

“You said that twenty minutes ago,” he complained.

He stood in front of me, making me nervous.

This was a big deal.

No good pretending otherwise.

What we were about to do was basically
announce ourselves as a couple to his family.

I looked up at him and noticed we were matching.

He’d gone back to his apartment earlier for a
change of clothes.

He was dressed in a
navy blue suit and matching tie with his trademark black leather shoes and a
white shirt.

I looked forward to wearing
that later.

Nathan kneeled down in front of me and gently grasped my
shoeless foot.

As he slid the heel over
my tight-covered foot I had to press my legs together.

How he could still affect me the way he did
is beyond me.

No one has ever affected
me the way Nathan did.

He had ruined me
for anyone else.

He took my hands in his
and gently squeezed.

“I’m nervous,” I whispered.

“There’s no need to be, angel,” he said, pulling me up
gently.

His arms slipped around my waist
and pulled me towards him.

He rested his
forehead against mine, sighing deeply.

“They’re never going to accept us anyway, love.”

There was a sadness in his tone that wasn’t
there before.

Nathan was always so confident and usually gave off the vibe
that nothing bothered him.

For the first
time I was seeing Nathan at his most insecure.

“I don’t care what they think.” I pressed my lips to
his.

“Let’s just be open and get it over
with.”

He nodded as I said this, wrapping his arm around my
shoulders. “Let’s go and feed you to the sharks.” He chuckled.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and gave him a final
squeeze as we left the apartment.

An hour later we were pulling up in front of Nathan’s
parents’ home.

It was as beautiful and
grand as I remembered.

It was located
with the rich and elite near Hyde Park away from the bright lights and bustle
of the city.

When we were little, Chase and
I spent most of our days here.

Every day
after school we’d be dropped off here with Nathan and Adam and our father would
collect us in the evening.

Mrs. Walker
always had time for us and treated us like her own.

She was more of a mother to us than our
own.

Nathan, Adam and Chase were
inseparable growing up.

They’d always be
running off playing pirates and I’d always be left holding Mrs. Walker’s hand
with my dolly, wishing I was one of the boys.

I was so engrossed in my trip down memory lane that I didn’t
realise I was now alone in Nathan’s car.

I looked outside and noticed Nathan sat on the small wall just outside
the car.

When he saw me look at him he
stepped forward and opened my door for me.

I stepped out of the car and looked up at him, taking his hand.

As he brought my hand to his lips he frowned, pressing a
gentle kiss against my knuckles.

“I’m
sorry, Chloe.”

I frowned at the sadness in his tone.

He shook his head in reply.

“I failed to realise how hard it would be for you to come back.”

I smiled, stroking his cheek in return. “I can’t believe you
remembered,” I whispered, caressing his cheek.

He turned his face and kissed the palm of my hand. “Of
course I remember,” he said, holding my palm to the side of his face.

“I remember spending all afternoon with you
picking flowers.”

I laughed as he said this.

“You were only seven.” He sniggered.

“I was ten years old but you had me wrapped
around your little finger.”

I laughed at that and leaned up to press my lips to his
quickly.

He grinned as our lips
parted.

Nathan gently pushed my hair out of my eyes, taking my face
in his hands.

“Then one day it was
different.” He frowned.

“Your father
came to collect you and Chase as normal.

I remember him yelling and telling Chase to get in the car and him
taking you by the hand and dragging you away.

You screamed my name the whole time.”

I was floored at how much he remembered from our childhood.

Especially from the last time he saw me
before we met again as adults.

“I-I
remember too…” I stuttered, sliding my arms around him and resting my hands on
his lower back.

Nathan pressed his lips
to my forehead and pressed my head into his chest, squeezing me to him.

I closed my eyes when he did this.

Out of all the things I had done with Nathan,
being held by him right now was most probably the most loving moment we had
together.

I tried not to love Nathan but
I knew it could be so easy to do.

I could have stayed right there with him all night if we
hadn’t been interrupted.

“We were starting to think you guys weren’t coming.”

I turned in Nathan’s arms and looked to the doorway of the
house.

Adam stood, leaning against the
doorway.

He was dressed in a navy blue
suit, the exact same suit it seemed that Nathan was wearing.

“You’re looking lovely this evening, Chloe.” He smiled.

His eyes quickly flickered to Nathan standing
behind me.

“Mom was starting to get
worried.”

“Sorry,” I said, leading Nathan towards the doorway.

“We were just having a private moment.”

By the way Adam’s eyes narrowed he picked up
on my subtle emphasis on the word ‘private’.

As we entered the lobby I was once more struck with awe.

The Walker home had a large marble lobby with
a grand staircase curving at the top.

There was a beautiful selection of lilies placed in a vase on a cream
table at the bottom of the staircase.

I
was brought out of my gawking.

“There she is!” an excited voice shrieked.

I turned to the left where the main sitting area was.

This room had a grand piano, a wet bar and
three large plush sofas, placed in various locations.

Nathan steered me in the right direction by
placing his hand on my lower back and walked me into the room where I was met
by Mrs. Walker rushing towards me with her arms open wide.

“Chloe, sweetheart!” she gushed, wrapping her arms around
me.

I squeezed her back just as enthusiastically.

It felt so good being back in her arms.

Sylvia Walker was described by various people as many
things.

Cold.

Vindictive.

Harsh.

To me she was always just
Sylvia.

Warm.

Loving.

Playful.

As I pulled back she
took my face in her hands smiling.

“It’s
so nice to see you again.” I grinned.

“Thank you so much for coming to dinner, sweetheart.” She
stepped back.

As she did this Mr. Walker
stepped up behind her, sliding an arm around her waist.

“Chloe,” he said, smiling, extending his hand.

“Thank you for joining us for dinner.”

“Thank you for having me.” I shook his hand and stepped back
while Nathan slid his arm around my waist, palming my hip.

I noticed their reaction, their faces dropped
immediately.

I was starting to get
confused.

I assumed Sylvia at least knew
I was having a relationship with Nathan.

I looked at Nathan and he subtly shook his head.

Adam moved past us towards the bar with the biggest grin on
his face. “Would you like a drink Chloe?” He flashed me a cocky smirk.

Nathan’s eyes narrowed in response.

“I think you’ll need it,” Adam insisted.

I hated cocky people.

They had a way of making you want to smack them.

In no time at all me and Nathan were taking a seat on one of
the sofas with a glass of red wine.

His
parents sat opposite us staring past us at the wall.

As Adam took a seat next to me things could not
have gotten more awkward.

Being stared
at by Nathan’s parents?

I can handle
that.

Being sandwiched in by both of the
Walker boys?

Not going to lie.

It was making me extremely awkward.

Nathan must have picked up on the vibe as he
took my free hand.

I smiled up at him in
thanks.

Why the hell did I have to agree to this?

Nathan must have thought the same thing as he leaned in and
whispered in my ear, “We could’ve been naked having dinner right now.”

Fuck, that was sexy.

I choked on my wine and began coughing and sputtering.

Nathan quickly took my wine glass off me and
Adam quickly rubbed my back.

For some
reason I didn’t like being around Adam.

He made me nervous like no one else.

“Are you okay, angel?” Nathan asked, taking my hand into
his.

I looked up at Nathan but noticed he wasn’t looking at
me.

He was glaring over my shoulder at
Adam’s hand on my back.

My attention was
quickly diverted when a maid appeared in the doorway.

“Ma’am,” she greeted Sylvia.

“Dinner is served.”

Wow.

Both our
families come from money but our house never had a maid.

We had a butler and a chauffeur but Chase and
I were raised in a very independent home.

As we made our way to the dining room, with Nathan holding my hand, I
felt Adam walking beside me.

I tensed as
he placed his hand on my lower back steering me forward.

I looked at him out of the corner of my eye
in surprise and the smirk that stretched across his face was as evil as sin.

Tonight was going to be a long night.

“So, Chloe, how did you enjoy living in Paris?” Sylvia
asked.

I frowned at the question.

I assume she wasn’t expecting the answer -
‘I hated it and couldn’t wait to come home’
.

I forced a smile on my face.

“It was beautiful.” I smiled.

She grinned. “All those fashion trends and the museums,” she
gushed, placing her hand on her husband’s arm.

He smiled in response.

It was in a bored kind of way but it was a smile all the same.

“So how was your graduation?” she asked.

“I didn’t graduate,” I said, shaking my head.

“I completed my education and came home.”

“Why is that?” Mr. Walker asked, frowning.

I shook my head in confusion.

“Why did you miss your graduation?” he asked, staring
straight at me.

He has the same stare as my father.

Direct.

Cold.

Scary.

I looked down, cutting a small portion of the
most beautiful lasagne I had ever tasted.

“Graduation is a day of recognising one’s success in one’s
achievements.”

Did he read the brochure?

I smiled at this and noticed Nathan had the same smile plastered on his
face.

“Was it because your family couldn’t make the effort to
celebrate with you?” he asked with a cocked eyebrow.

What an ass. I couldn’t help the glare that came across my
face.

Nathan’s hand tensed on the
table.

If Mr. Walker wanted to be like
that I could be just as awkward.

I
placed my hand on Nathan’s and he quickly entwined our fingers.

He brought our hands to his lips and sweetly
kissed my knuckles.

Nathan had many
sides but nothing was sexier than his sweet side.

He could make me scream ten different ways
but his sweetness could turn me into a puddle in three seconds flat.
