“No. You’re different. Special.” His arms around her tightened.

“But I’m not a wolf.”

“I know you will.” He gently tucked her hair behind her ear.

“You won’t boss me around?” Uncertainty filled her eyes. Nick commanded her so easily, would Tao do the same? Would she even care? If she was honest with herself, she was half in love with the man. His lips quirked in a smile and his hands drifted to her hips, pulling her into an even closer embrace. “Only in the bedroom. Can you live with that?”
