Value Your Gift Set

Gift Sets are hardwired into your soul, not likely to change. So you may as well accept yours, rather than worrying about whether you were born with the sensory equivalent of blonde hair and blue eyes.

Self-acceptance won’t only save you confusion and anguish. Self-acceptance is wise.

Only your Gift Set can lead you to the fullest personal experience of life. And, of course, using your personal Gift Set is the only way that you can develop superb skill at cutting cords of attachment.

What if your dream has always been to see auras in full color? Then, with all respect, it’s time to get yourself a new dream.

Some salespeople make money by supplying whatever a person requests, even an unrealistic dream that can never fully be realized. Unwilling to put aside the dream of “Clairvoyance or nothing”? Some people will cheerfully take your money for that, but why let them?

Instead, I invite you to put aside illusions that it is necessary desirable to mimic a different person’s Gift Set. Give my techniques—and your own Gift Set—a chance. You can grow faster that way, gaining meaningful results.

Recognizing distinctive Gift Sets has been an important feature of my work right from when I developed the method of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses.® You can be sure that I designed the 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment to work for you no matter what your Gift Set might be.

From Step 3 onward, I will honor your distinctive Gift Set by giving you a variety of techniques to choose from so that you can find what suits you best.

Here’s one last reason to celebrate your Gift Set:
Synesthesia.
Meaning what? At the level of auras, all your gifts for deeper perception become fully activated.

You have synesthesia. Everyone does. That is why, whenever you bring your awareness to the level of auras (whatever technique you may use to get you there), automatically you will activate your full Gift Set.

So you might explore a technique where you first use clairsentience, clairvoyance, clairaudience or another sense.

Once you are using that technique, you could have experiences of emotional intuition, gustatory giftedness or any of your other gifts.

This will happen automatically… provided you are not trying to be a particular kind of clairvoyant.

Despite all you have read about Gift Sets, some readers still may be skeptical. You may have been strongly programmed to believe in The Myth About Auras. Well, dare to be counter-culture. Dare to question what you have been told.

Or, at least, dare to experiment at least as long as it takes to finish this ebook. You stand to gain so much. Accepting your Gift Set will help you fulfill your deepest desires to serve humanity as an aura reader.

So Many Ways to Read Auras Effectively!

Now you are ready to read your client’s aura. If you have a technique that you already love, use that. Your experience may be enriched by new appreciation of your full Gift Set. Research three chakra databanks, write down your results, then share them out loud.

You will have activated your client’s aura.

However, I am going to pack this chapter with more information than any other chapter in this book. I will be presenting you with three different techniques that you can use for a Before-and-After Picture.

No need to read them all, or try them all, in one sitting. Instead, you might want to do it this way:

1. Your first time through doing techniques in this book, use the “Call It, Read It” technique. After you have done your Before Picture, skip on over our next chapter.

2. Your next time through, use “See It, Read It” instead. After you have done your Before Picture, skip on over our next chapter.

3. Then, you guessed it. Third time through, experiment with “Touch It, Read It.” After you have done your Before Picture, skip on over our next chapter.

Subsequent times, choose and use just one of these techniques. Enjoy having so many resources. Make them your own.

Call It, Read It

Let’s start with an outrageously simple (but effective) way to read auras, “Call It, Read It.” You can start by practicing on yourself or else experiment with a buddy. Later, if you help a family member or friend as your client, you may find yourself using this super-easy technique in just about every session.

My inspiration to develop this technique was Tarot readings. Have you ever had one? The reader starts with three things: A deck of cards, a client to read for, and a
spread.

This last part means a specialized form of intention, a chosen meaning that each card will have for the particular Tarot reading.

A spread is chosen before any card is drawn. For instance, the reader may call a spread this way:

  • The first card will summarize your present situation.
  • The second card will reveal a hidden conflict.
  • The third card will provide insight into your hopes and fears about this situation.
  • The fourth card will predict what happens over the next six months.

Lo and behold, the cards will reveal precisely that information.

Once the Tarot reader calls a spread, whether she chooses the cards or the client does, the cards will show up perfectly to support that chosen sequence.

This kind of meaningful coincidence has a name, thanks to Carl Jung. He coined the term
synchronicity.

Because of synchronicity, Tarot readers can choose any spread they like. It will work.

I asked Robert Place, author of
The Tarot: History, Symbolism, and Divination,
about the importance of choosing a spread. He told me:

“A spread creates meaning before you put a single card down. This gives a context for the cards so they will talk about the specific subject that you need to know about. Then you can read the story.”

With the “Call It, Read It” technique, any chakra databank in someone’s aura will tell its story.

TECHNIQUE: A First Cycle of “Call It, Read It”

Your first time with this technique, you will research one sample chakra databank, the High Heart Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill.

HIGH HEART CHAKRA—Location: At the upper chest

Body part: Armpit level, the full width of your upper chest.

Chakra Databank: Soul Thrill

  • “Soul Thrill” means making choices, speaking, and acting in ways that make you happy as a human being.
  • Compared to what? Stifling yourself. Following other people’s rules. Doing what seems “virtuous” but bores you silly. (And that’s just the short list of how this chakra databank can be a mess.)

Read through the following instructions once. Then go step-by-step. (As always, do not read steps of a technique unless you plan to do the technique right afterwards.)

Courageous Explorer, don’t be put off by how many steps will follow for “Call It, Read It.” Because so many of my students love this technique, and find it their very favorite. Yes, it is more complicated than the other two techniques in this chapter. That’s because you will do a
Baseline Reading
of each body part, then do
research
on the appropriate chakra databank.

You’ll see how that comparison works. I’ll move you through, one easy step at a time.

Incidentally, if seeing a lot of written instructions makes you feel queasy, you might want to make your own sound recording. Leave pauses after each step. Then listen to your recording as you do it.

1. Close your eyes. Do the “Get Big” technique. Know that you are connected in consciousness.

2. Think your intention for doing this technique, “To learn more about myself.” Or “I am ready to learn more about myself.” (Yes, setting an intention during Step 1 sets up your entire session. This technique is part of your session. Repeating your intention in this Step 2 is like refreshing a computer screen, a routine part of the technique you are doing here and now!)

3. Open your eyes and read the physical location for the first assignment for research on your list:
Your upper chest.
That’s beneath your collarbone and above your body. It reaches across the whole front of your torso, with awareness possible
inside
your torso as you breathe in and out.

4. To do a Baseline Reading, close your eyes. Notice how that body part feels. Pay attention, here and now, in an easy sloppy way.

5. Find language to describe. Sure your upper chest has sensations right now, like
tight, loose, heavy, wobbly, big, small.
Open your eyes long enough to write something down. Then immediately close your eyes.

6. Repeat Steps 1 and 2.

7. Open your eyes. Now you’re doing Chakra Databank Research. So read the corresponding physical location + the name of the chakra databank you are researching. In this case, Upper Chest + “Soul Thrill.

8. Research your physical sensations in that body part. Close your eyes. Notice how that body part feels. Pay attention here and now, in an easy sloppy way. Find language to describe. Open your eyes long enough to write something down.

9. Immediately close your eyes. Congratulate yourself, Courageous Explorer, and open your eyes.

10. Look over what you wrote. Interpret the difference between your baseline reading and what you noticed in Step 8 of this technique. What does this change have to do with the meaning of that chakra databank? In this case, the different sensations you noticed about your upper chest will count as information about the High Heart Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill.

Q&A About First Cycle of “Call It, Read It”

Doing a new technique, it’s natural to ask questions. That’s why I will be answering some right now.

What if I’m not sure about what I got?

You have full permission to not be sure. Auras are subtle. Cords of attachment are subtle. With practice, you will develop greater trust.

Meanwhile, just be sloppy when doing techniques like “Call It, Read It.” Follow the instructions. Then write down something when requested, even if you aren’t sure.

Your skill will build, so have patience with yourself as you are developing skill.

I’m in a hurry to get to the good part. When am I going to cut my cords? What if it just seems stupid, having to do research like this?

Quality healing is not quick, like opening up a fortune cookie. Give yourself credit for learning a quality method that you will be able to use for the rest of your life. Take the time to learn properly.

But I’m desperate to cut all my cords. What if I don’t want to do a good job but just get it over with?

That desperate? Put this book down right now and find a professional healer who can help you, one session at a time.

The time to learn any new skill is not while feeling desperate. This method, and book, will await your return when you are ready to learn.

Incidentally, no healer with professional skills will claim to cut all your cords of attachment. Plenty of healers and psychics and manicurists, etc. may seek your business. However, it is not possible to permanently remove even one minor cord of attachment when aiming to cut all your cords.

How can I put this nicely? Poorly trained practitioners may have excellent skills in other fields. But the very claim to “Cut all your cords” will warn a smart consumer.

Okay, I want quality healing. I just don’t see how an exercise like this has anything to do with cutting a cord. Can’t you make this simpler?

Sorry, no. The method of 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment really works. However, it is called “12 Steps” for good reason. That is the level of skill, and patience, required for permanent healing. If you want results, invest the time.

“Call It, Read It” was absolutely fascinating to me. Can the same steps of the technique work with other chakra databanks, too?

Definitely. The steps of “Call It, Read It,” plus your willingness to explore, will allow you to explore any chakra databank.

Even better, you are activating your aura in the process, which is required for permanent removal of a cord of attachment.

In addition, your effectiveness at reading cord items at Step 9—the quality of healing you give yourself there—is connected to your ability to do your own Before Picture. The more fun you have now, locating information and interpreting it, the more benefit you will gain altogether from cord cutting.

TALE: The Big Question

Once a TV reporter interviewed me for a couple of hours. She had driven down from Baltimore with a camera guy. Ultimately, only six minutes from our interview would be used on the air. I knew that. Once she finished, I knew which part of our interview would definitely make the cut. Sure enough it later appeared on Sweeps Week.

How could I tell which particular question was so very important? The reporter asked it three times. First time, she had the cameraman film a close-up of her asking. Second time, he took a close-up of me. Third came a long shot to establish that we were talking together about this urgent matter.

Three times, then, the pretty young reporter leaned towards me confidingly and said, with thinly veiled condescension:

“Rose, we know you think you read auras. You say that you get information and it helps people. You seem satisfied with what you do. But tell me, don’t people sometimes ask you, ‘ARE YOU CRAZY?’”

Lucky me, I got to answer this very shrewd question three times in a row. I told her, “That very fear of being crazy is what keeps so many people from reading auras in the first place.”

Consider yourself warned. Do you have fears about your sanity or doubt your spiritual worthiness? All kinds of nasty STUFF deep within may come up when you start reading auras. What’s the fastest way to heal it? Simple. Ignore fears and doubts. Keep on reading auras.

When that blockage is goes, it will be gone for good. What a blessing to have those fears finally disintegrate! Even for the sake of the rest of your life, you can benefit so much from reading auras.

Do A Full Before Picture with “Call It, Read It”

This time, you will do a full Before Picture. I am giving you three chakra databanks to read. The first on our list will be new, an alternative to the chakra databank you read before at the High Heart Chakra.
