It wasn't easy. It sucked major ass being without her. But I knew it would be worth it in the end.
And knowing she wanted Boston College, I did my damnedest to get in as well. My fallback was to attend a nearby college in the area. Hopefully one where I could still play ball.
This is the part where I once again get down on my hands and knees and thank Coach Monroe and Ms. Fisk for harassing me into action.
Because somehow those two were able to make the impossible, possible.
And just between you and me, I think there might have been a little something-something going on between those two crazy kids. Yeah, I think I just threw up in my mouth as well. That is definitely one hell of a disturbing image that won't be vacating my head anytime soon...
Anyway... So, now I got in all, baby.
I got the college.
I got the ball.
And most importantly, I got the girl.
Yep, life is pretty damn sweet right now and I think it's only going to get better from here on out. With Jordan by my side, how could it not?
