“Why?” He asks her sounding pissed off.

“Because we wanted them?” She tells him sternly.

“Whatever, I’m going for a swim,” He tells us and walks away in a huff.

Sallack walks after him, wanting to speak with him alone.

What is that boys problem, why can’t he just be nice to me for one time since being here, is it that much to ask?

Dallah also disappears back into the sea, well, into the arms of Julian.

“You ok?” Ruk asks me tenderly, with concern.

“Yeah,” I tell him while watch Den and Sallack walk off down the beach rather than join everyone in the water.

Pulling my eyes away from them and back to Ruk, I slide over to him and climb on top of him, while running my fingers across his chest, then going lower over his abs. He surprises me by rolling me over so fast and hovering over me. I feel my sex clench as his
lust-filled eyes are boring into me, and I feel his hardness pushing against me.

“I want to you so bad, you look fucking amazing,” He tells me running his fingers down my chest and rubbing his thumb over my hard nipple, which makes me quiver and moan with need.

“You can have me,” I whisper to him in a state of desire.

“Is that what you want, for me to take you here in the sand?” He asks in a sensual tone, while he brings his face down to me and teases my lips open with his tongue.

“Yes,” I tell him in an out of breath moan.

“In front of everyone?” He asks against my lips.

“Um hum.”

“Zara you are too much for me.”

He rocks his hardness against my sex, instantly making me moist.

“RUK YOU GOTTA GET IN HERE MAN? ITS HEAVEN,” Mickey shouts to him, unable to see that he is busy, on top off me.

He groans before getting up on his knees and scooping me into his arms.

“Come with me in the water?”

“Yes please,” I tell him with a wicked smile.

“God how will I ever let you go,” He asks me and his smile fades as a frown takes its place.

“Then don’t,” I tell him almost in a plea.

His head bows down as he shakes away the thought he is having.

“Ruk, let’s just get in the water and have some fun,” I tell him with the best fake smile I can manage.

“Ok beautiful,” He tells me smiling back.

Walking down to the water, with me still in his arms, he runs crashing through the waves, with me squealing and doesn’t stop
until were up to our waists.

Ruk doesn’t let go of my waist but instead he holds my back against him as we look out at the sea, as lovers.

“We can’t fall in love Zara,” He turns me to face him, “I can’t let myself fall in love with you,” He tells me with regret.

“I know,” I tell him with a sigh and turn in his arms no longer wanting him to see the emotions playing in my eyes.

This was meant to be a bit of fun, I finally did what I wanted, and chased
after the man that is meant for another. Nevertheless, he is the man of my dreams, not my reality, I know that, but does my heart? What we have is amazing beyond words, and when this is over, I will be saddened, but happy that I had this time with him.

I dive into the water and swim away from him. I don’t want him to see my tears, I want him to see me as a strong woman who can take on the world if I have to, not the girl that hides inside.

Getting out of the water I walk over to my towel, I lay on it facing the sun, and let it soak up the droplets of water that sit on my skin.

“I’m sorry sweetie,” Dallah tells me in a saddened tone from where she lays on her side to face me.

“Yeah, me to,” I tell her not even bothering to open my eyes from fear that they will tear up again, instead I hold out my arm, and ever so gently she places her hand in mine.

“I will always be at your side sister.”

“And I will always be at yours my little Witch,” I tell her as them damn tears work their way out and run down my cheeks. Its times like these I wish that raindrops would fall, to cover the tears I cry. I can feel Dallah go to make a move to comfort me, so I squeeze her hand as a silent plea for her leave me be. All I need is an hour alone, to build up my walls that shields my emotions from seeping through.

That is what I get, I lay on my back for an hour in piece, as I listen to everyone chat and laugh together. Not wanting to seclude myself any longer, I sit up forcing a smile on my face as I join in the conversations and the laughter, until I realize Ruk is missing.

“Where’s Ruk?”

“He’s gone for a long walk,” Sallack tells me, before he hands me a can of coke.

“Thanks.”

“Zara, can I speak with you?” Den asks as he walks to stand before me and by the looks of it fresh out of the water. The water drips down his body, illuminating his muscles, and his hair that looks a dozen shades deeper than black.

“Yeah,”

Standing up, I am shocked when he takes hold of my arm and pulls me to my feet.

“Let’s walk this way,” He tells me without giving me a chance to speak, he turns and waits for me to stand beside him before we walk away from everyone.

“I’m sorry for the way I have been to you, you don’t deserve it, and you are none of those things I said you were. When I got to the Coven, I was so excited to see you, and so scared for you, as you were alone. Then we see you kissing the enemy, then Parrise and it got too much, I flew off the handle big time babe, I didn’t know how to deal with seeing you as this strong sexy woman you have become. When all I wanted was to see my girl, my Zara, my baby.”

“I kissed Richard as he blackmailed me into it, threatening to hurt Dallah badly if I didn’t comply. You saw me rush into his embrace, but I saw Dallah in excruciating pain under his spell. Not that it matters now Den, you really hurt me by thinking the worst, not even giving me a chance to explain. You said you would always be there for me, always take care of me, and love me. You have done none of them things, what you did do, is give up on me, make my nightmares come true and take away the one thing in life I lived for,” I tell him stopping in my tracks to face him.

“I want to be there with you, at your side, I know the things I said were nasty and viscous, but we can get past this. I need you to forgive me babe, I need you.”

“Why do you need me now Den?”

“You’re mine, you need to be with me,” He tells me taking hold of my arm.

Yanking my arm back from him I look him in the
eyes, trying to work out what is going on inside his head.

“I’m not yours Den, I used to me, but not anymore. I will be here for you, whenever you need me, I will be there without a second thought, but you need to work out what you really want Den. I won’t let you hurt me again.” I tell him while biting down on my lip so hard to stop me from crying, that my lips bleeds into my mouth.

“I will win you back babe, you and me were meant to be,” He tells me while looking at me so closely that I know he is trying to read my secret thoughts. The trouble with that is, I see his words as empty, and that is how he has made me feel about him, empty. I just hope that one day I get my Den back, the sweet, kind, strong, man that he has been since I first laid eyes on him, not man he’s become while around these monsters.

“I need to go now as I have to speak with Ruk. Maybe we can talk later. And Den? Come back to me, let me see my Den the man I love and trust, not the man before me now who stomped on my already broken heart,” I tell him hopefully.

“You will always be my babe, always,” He tells me before letting me go.

“In your heart Den,” I nod at him, hoping he will understand.

“What made you so strong Zara? What made you this way?” He asks with need.

“You never know how strong you are; until being strong is the only choice you have left.” I say just before turning and walking away.

“Ruk!” I call out to him while running along the hot sand.

“You ok Zara?” He asks, looking at me with a frown, then over my shoulder at Den who stands watching us.

“Yeah, I just wanted to apologize for earlier, I know that this is hard for you as well. It’s just hard, you and me, you know?”

“I know, but we can and will deal with this Zara. When we meet our chosen ones, all will change,” He tells me while lacing his arm around my waist to pull me close.

“Yeah,” I tell him with a fake smile.

I want to lean up and kiss him, and for him to tell me that we should run away together and live a happy life. If he were to tell me this, then I would leave everything I have, and take his hand in mine, follow him anywhere and everywhere. He gives me everything in life that I crave, and I know he feels the same way. What he says is true though, we cannot fall in love, because this will be over before it even begins.

“Let’s get back to the others,” He tells me, and walks out of my arms.

Walking beside him, he turns his head to me with a stunning grin, and picks me up from the sand and throws me gently on his back in a

Piggyback ride.

“Hold on to me tightly!” He warns before he takes off at lightning speed, instantly putting a smile on my face, which he has always been able to do.

Just before we get in sight of the others, Ruk changes course and runs to the sea.

“Let’s spend some time alone together beautiful,” He tells me while taking us into the water smoothly. Without warning, Ruk Pushes himself under the water while still holding me and swims away from me a little and then spins in the water to face me with a grin. Being under the water is magical, and being with the man of my dreams is breath taking. Holding my breath, I swim away from him, still under the water, as I cannot look at him without wanting him desperately. He looks like a god of the sea under here, with his height, handsome face and ripped body. He soon catches up with me and pushes be by the butt to the surface.

“You look incredible underwater Zara.”

“Yeah, you don’t look too bad yourself,” I tell him with a sensual smile.

“Come to me?” He asks while standing only a foot away, with water coming just past his waist, and to my breasts.

Swimming to him in one movement, he takes me by the waist and pulls me up to sit on him as I wrap my legs around him.

“They will see us,” I tell him while taking a glance over my shoulder, but luckily there so far away they're just dots.

“We’re safe,” He looks to his right, then quickly faces me, “Kiss me with everything you have Zara, like you have never kissed another man?” He asks, searching my eyes for the truth in my heart.

Not wanting to waste another moment, I take his lips with mine, so smoothly that he tenses in my arms. As our tongues touch, my hands take his face to hold in the perfect position, his natural calming scent surround
ing me, mixed with the smell of the sea and sand, making me feel like I have finally touched heaven with the tips of my fingers. On its own accord, my body starts to move against his wanting and needing more from him. I struggle to breathe from the pure splendor of feeling as if the world has changed from black and white to color. Being in the perfect destination, with the perfect man, at the perfect time is more than I could want out of life.

Pulling away at the same time as we catch our breath, I gaze into his exquisite eyes as my heart skips.

“The girl of my dreams and fantasy’s kisses me like I am the only man alive,” He says to me, but not really to me, he sounds confused in a way as a frown forms on his handsome face.

I want to tell him that he is more than that to me, but I don’t want to make this harder for him, because when he finds his chosen he will forget about me, about what we had, but me on the other hand, no matter who is my chosen, he will never make me forget about this moment, ever.
