I was livid when Skie texted me that she took the part without even talking to me about it first. I mean I wasn’t gonna stop her from going, I wanted her to follow her dreams, but she could have told me first. I was packing my things, I missed my bed. I didn’t wanna stay with Remi anymore. I also knew that she would be here soon. Even though, I was mad at her, I did miss her, I had no idea how this year would turn out. I got all my things together, I was walking out the guest room when Remi was coming out her room with a see thru black dress on with nothing under it.

“Leaving me so soon Blu?” She winked at me and sat down on the couch then turned on the TV.

Yes, Skie is coming back into town today, so I’m going to bring my things over, thank you for letting me stay with you.” I smiled and continued to the door.

I put my suite case in the trunk and walked back into the house to give Remi her keys. When I walked in she was in the kitchen.

“HerE are your spare keys,” I set then on the counter and went to walk away.

“Can I tell you something, Blu, before you leave?” She came up behind me and touched my shoulder.

I turned around and looked at her. “Sure, what’s up?” I crossed my arms. I really wanted to get out of here.

“You can always come back and stay whenever you need to, oh and by the way I’ve had feelings for you for a long time now.”

I didn’t even answer her, I walked out the house and got in my car and sped the fuck away. I can’t believe this shit! I used to think Remi was amazing. I even had a crush on her back in the day, but I never wanted to be with her or anything. She was creeping me out with the way she was acting, I was almost to Skie’s place when my phone went off.

“What’s up Ryder?” I put him on speaker. I Decided to go for a little drive before I went to Skie place.

“Guess who wants to sign me!!!” He sounded like he was screaming through the phone.

“Who foo?” l I laughed. “I’m excited you are about to go pro bro, now spill the beans who wants to sign you?” I drove a little faster.

“The Miami Heat!! Like I am all set! I’m taking over for dad and I’ll be able to live my dream!”

“Well, I am very happy for you Ryder!” I honked my horn and laughed. “You’ve worked so hard for this very moment. You took my advice on only being the voice right? You will be getting a lot of spotlight now.”

“Yes I am letting my uncle be the face, well I guess our uncle will be the face and I’ll just give orders when needed.” He laughed.

“Cool well I’m about to make my way to Skie’s, I was just driving around while we talked”

“How did her audition go? Isn’t it for some big time lesbian dance movie or something? Everyone on campus is talking about it. I guess I won’t be the only one in the spot light.”

Yeah, so took the job she will be living in Cali for the next year, she leaves in a couple months,” My eyes started to water.

“Wow, I didn’t know she would be leaving so soon. Are you okay Blu? I know a lot have been happening.”

“I’ll be okay, I start working in a few weeks, everything will be good. I know I need to look for my own apartment though.” I pulled into Skie’s driveway.

You know you can have your own wing at my house, it’ll have a living room, kitchen and master bedroom. You want it?”

“Oh my god really, Ryder? You would let me move in? Yes! I just have to get my stuff from my moms. Can you help?” I was smiling ear to ear, I loved Ryder’s house and I guess it wouldn’t hurt for me to be closer to Ghost, since he’s my father, and was dying.

Yeah, I can help you out, how about tomorrow? Skie can stay till she leaves too, if you want. I mean it is your own mini apartment inside of a big ass mansion.” He was laughing so hard.

“You got jokes, I laughed. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.” I hung up the phone and walked up to the door.

When I was about to knock Skie swung the door open and pulled me into her arms and squeezed my hard.

“Baby I am so so sorry!” She kissed me all over my face, I wasn’t thinking and I am so stupid for that. Can you forgive me?” She gave me puppy dog eyes.

“Yes, Skie I forgive you, it just would have been nice to talk it over, I mean we are gonna be doing long distance soon.” I grabbed her hand and lead her to her room, once we got inside I shut the door. I just realized what Skie was wearing she had on a t-shirt and the bottom of her ass was poking out.

I slapped her ass, and pulled her close. I pulled her t-shirt over her head exposing her sexy body. I pushed her onto the bed and undressed myself; she was watching me so I made it look sexy. I just sat there and watched, I was starting to feel different towards her. I didn’t like it, I just wanted to feel the love.

“Are you coming Blu?” She walked out the bathroom and she saw that I was crying and came to sit next to me.

“I’m looking at you different, Skie, ever since you’ve told me the news.” I was trying so hard not to cry.

“What do you mean by different Blu?” She kind of backed away from me and started pacing the room.

“I don’t know how to explain it, it’s like we haven’t been together for a whole year yet and you’re leaving in a few months for a whole year.” I stood up and put a t-shirt I found laid out on the chair.

“I’m sorry Blu, I wanna make it up to you.” She had tears in her eyes now. She sat down on the floor.

“We need to talk about what we are gonna do, like are we gonna stay together or breaking up while your away?”

“I don’t wanna break up Blu, you mean to much to me. I’ve been waiting for someone like you to come into my life.” She looked panicked.

“I didn’t say we were gonna break up, I’m just saying we need to discuss what we are gonna do. I’m moving in with Ryder tomorrow, to be closer to him and Ghost.” I stood up and grabbed my clothes.

“Where are you going Blu?” Skie stood up and grabbed me, then snatched my clothes out my hands.

“I need to go home and start packing,” I took my clothes out of her hands and got dressed. The whole time she was trying to stop me.

“Blu please don’t leave me here by myself, I need you right now.” She began to cry hard and she started making a noise.

“Skie would you please calm down,” I looked at her not knowing what to do. I have never saw her this way.

“Why are you doing this to me Blu? Everyone always leaves and now you’re trying to do it to. I will call and tell them I can’t take the role, just fucking be with me!” She screamed with tears running down her face.

“Skie I’m not fucking leaving you!” I yelled back. “I just said we need to talk about what we are going to do. and those were a few options. This is a role of a life time you’re going!” I huffed and headed for the door.

I heard Skie Scream and ran to my car, I had no idea what to do or think at this moment. I just knew I needed to get away and fast. I would call Skie in the morning, I just needed to pack and be alone. There was way too much going on right now. I hopped in my car turned on and flew out the drive way, when I looked back Skie was running out the house with her robe on.

              Ever since Blu stopped talking to me, I wasn’t myself.  I missed my daughter and I knew I should give her time, but I needed her. She was my life for so long, I felt like a fool for saying yes to Ghost when he asked me to marry him. I knew it was the wrong time, but I felt like that was something I’ve been waiting for; I waited for years to here that question. I was sitting in the living room when I heard the elevator open I looked back reaching for my gun. Then Blu stepped into the house, I signed a breath of relief.

              “I’m just stopping by to pack my things, I’m moving out tomorrow and tonight I’m staying at a hotel,” she didn’t even look at me and walked into her room.

              I went into the kitchen and started cooking her favorite meal, she loved steak and twice baked potatoes. She was gonna sit down and have dinner with me, if she liked it or not. I am her mother and she will respect me. I had everything cooking, so I walked up to her door and knocked. I had no idea why I was so nervous talking to my own daughter. I guess I was just sad that things wouldn’t be the same between us.

              “What do you want?” Blu swung the door open. I looked past her and clothes and everything was all over and she had bins all over the place.

              “I am making your favorite dinner; it should be done shortly. Where are you moving too?” I asked in a calm voice.

              “I don’t need dinner, I can pick something up on the way to the hotel, and I’m moving into a wing at Ghost and Ryder’s house. Now is that all?” She went to close the door but I stopped her.

              “Look young lady, you will not keep disrespecting me! I raised my voice. “You will be eating dinner with me when it’s done.” I turned around and walked down the stairs.

              I grabbed my best plates and silverware and set the table, I picked a bottle of wine and filled two wine glasses and set the food on the table.

              “Blu, dinner is ready!” I screamed and sat at the head of the table. Blu came out of her room and sat down at the table.

              “So do you think dinner will make me want to stay here?” She hissed and then grabbed a steak and a potato.

              “No I don’t think it will make you stay here, this move might be for the best,” I stated. I put food on my plate.

              “Yeah and why do you think it will be the best?” She stopped eating and looked at me.

              “Because you get to know Ghost, even though he been in your life all these years you now really get to know him. I know once we get married I’ll be moving in as well.” I put a piece of steak in my mouth and chewed.

              “Who said there was even going to be a wedding huh? If you haven’t noticed, he is sick!” She raised her voice.

              “You will stop rising your voice at me!” I raised mine, and then took a sip of wine.

              “You’re selfish! Do you even care how this might affect me and Ryder?” She pushed her plate away and stared me down.

              “You would think you would be happy that your parents were getting married, Blu!” I was getting upset.

              “Maybe when I was a little girl! But no I don’t care for you to be married, and it would hurt Ryder. I mean damnit, Ghost and Linda just got a divorce.” She stood up and started walking away.

              I followed behind her, we were not finished with this conversation. I finally got her to talk to me.

              “So what am I supposed to do, Blu! Just stay single for the rest of my life? He is the man of my dreams!” I yelled, I was mad.

              Blu stopped and turned around. “Look, Emila not everything is about you. Ghost is sick and should be fighting to get better. Not planning a wedding, y’all were fucking this whole time why does it matter if there is a fucking certificate.” She ran to her room and slammed the door.

              I didn’t know what to say, so I went and cleaned off the table and put the food in the fridge. After I was finished I went to my room, I looked for my cocaine stash. I got it ready and sniffed. I have been getting high on a regular now, I knew Ghost would be upset with me but I needed a way to deal with everything going on.

              I could stop anytime I wanted anyway, so I would do it till things got better. I really needed to take what Blu was saying into consideration. She might really hate me if I got married to Ghost. I was hoping maybe one day she would forgive me. I needed her to forgive me, without her I had nothing.
