loved that drove this from a very hidden subconscious part of his
ego. This all came about from not being loved enough as a child by
his mother. she had been through the great Depression and had
been deeply imprinted with the program of enormous lack, that
there was never going to be enough of anything. John received the
bare essentials of life as a child – food, shelter and physical neces-
sities – but never enough love, so he was always looking for more.
at this time, John had got together with Naomi Jemma
Kelliher, his future wife. This woman shared great love with him,
and it was this that gradually melted the many layers of his ego’s
unworthiness program. She had a strong grounding effect on him,
and this, together with the fulcrum effect of his Spiritual Talent
8-8s, meant that he could feel his way through the unworthiness
of the karmic 3-3s. Bringing consciousness to a program such as
this is the key to clearing it. Because he loved her so dearly – it was
a powerful past-life soul connection they had – he opened up the
internal canal of the 3-3s and began to express his deep feelings for
her more and more frequently.
as he overcame this unworthiness to express himself, John
gradually transformed into a great communicator about his
housing and community ideas. a real leader was emerging as
he felt worthy enough to stand up and say what felt right from
the symbolic depths of the 3-3s. There was also a master teacher
emerging from within the internal canal of the 3s. it was all about
communicating the great library of soul knowledge and ancient
wisdom stored within the internal canal to the world – about
making a difference in what John regarded as the very short time
we spend down here on Earth in a single incarnation.
When John felt he had assimilated enough business structure,
he set up his own building business. It was financially challenging
at first as the unworthiness program negatively affected his cash
flow. Most months he only made ends meet as he found it hard
to know what to charge for his services, to issue invoices, and to
follow up and ensure his clients paid on time.

often than was comfortable. This was a product of the Double
letter: Poverty to Wealth programming of the 3-3s. it manifested
as a series of sporadic financial failures with some of his build-
ing projects. John learnt the hard way that he had to become
conscious of what his cash flow and expenses were doing and to
only spend money on the essentials to keep the business going.
He discovered that the karmic 3-3 unworthiness program wanted
to spend money so it would feel better about itself, even though it
did not after the actual purchase.
Because this is a Master Number, it takes a long time to work
through and can feel like it is never going to end. But the drive
from John’s soul was so strong that he persisted with the business
as the Physical Talents 21-3 meant he loved a challenge. He had
the ability to endure and overcome something like this in order
to make him very strong in the end. Eventually, he became much
more astute financially and would take his time when deciding
which new building projects to actually engage with. He did this
by allowing his initially ever-changing perception of the truth of a
situation created by the 2 of his physical karmic 11-2s to settle on
one consistent truth. Then he would sit and feel (spiritual Talent
8-8s) whether it was the right decision in his heart. if it was and
he made a business investment decision based on the spiritual
Signature, then he always made a good profit, the job went really
smoothly, and a good honest home was constructed.
once he had overcome the karmic drag of the poverty con-
sciousness of the 3s, John ended up making a lot of money. as he
had been through such a strong experience of poverty conscious-
ness for many years while establishing his business, he was still
very conscious and careful about how he spent his money.

Spiritual Talents: 8-8
Keywords for the 8
:
Grounding; creating community
This is all about being able to relate to all sorts of people in society,
from the conscious all the way to those who are very unconscious.
This is the source of John’s great drive to create integrated com-
munities. He could see that Western society had actually devolved
into the breakdown of communities into isolated nuclear families
that put enormous strain on the parents and the 2.4 children as
they had little support around them in terms of other family and
community members. When people lived in smaller villages for
generations and built up community relationships over that time,
the mutual support network was much vaster and tighter. The
dispersal of people through much greater movement in modern
times has broken these bonds and resulted in a disintegrated
society where families over several generations are no longer living
close together.
John recognized this and made it his mission to recreate
sustainable communities where everyone worked together to
mutually support each other through life so that the experience
would be much more connected and fulfilling at all levels. He
was creating the modern equivalent of the village, in the form of
co-housing (Ref 28, 29) where members of the community have
common meeting areas to share meals and socialize. This resolves
many of the needs and demands of modern living from childcare,
so parents can work, being connected to and having a sense of
community again, to looking after the older members of the com-
munity in their own homes.

Spiritual Goals: 5-5
Keywords for the 5
:
Truth, pioneer, visionary, teacher of teachers
John was a visionary, a pioneer in the creation of new ways of living
for people and grounding them into the world in a real physical
form. He helped move people from isolated nuclear family units
in large cities into sustainable, ecological, Vaastu (Ref 21) and
Sacred Geometry (Ref 22) co-housing developments in groups
of no more than 150 (Dunbar’s Number). This has been found to
be the optimal number to create and maintain a socially cohesive
community (Ref 31). He believed that we are not designed to live
in large, dense, urban conurbations.
John was learning to speak out about this concept that he had
held deep in his heart for a long time. This was no matter what
anyone else said. He experienced a lot of persecution for express-
ing his truth initially, but stuck to his guns as this was so important
to him. Eventually, his ideas became better accepted, and John
became a teacher of teachers. other people who were also explor-
ing ways to create better community for mankind came to study
with him and to learn how to teach his concepts to the world.

Keywords for the 4

John’s heart closed at an early age because of insufficient love from
his mother (13). she did the bare minimum to look after him. This
was only so he could overcome it. This caused him great pain so
he had put up a stone wall around his heart to protect himself. as
a result, he was selfish as a youngster (4) as he never trusted that

there would ever be enough love or anything else in his life.
once John had overcome the poverty of the spiritual karmic
3-3s and moved into wealth consciousness, he started making a
lot of money. He was grateful to the Universe for what he received
and had a strong drive to share it with others (4), to give some-
thing back. He experimented with tithing. Back in biblical times,
the Hebrews used to give 10% of everything they earned to god in
the form of a tithe, as gratitude for what they had received. They
also knew that the more they shared, the more that would come
back to them. John started giving 10% of his income to people and
organizations that had supported him. He found that business
started to run more smoothly. Risky business situations seemed to
work themselves out for the better. New opportunities (East of the
4s) kept turning up. He realized that tithing was the best invest-
ment he could ever make and that the true flow of abundance in
life came from spirit, not from this 3rd dimensional reality. He
learnt to relax and trust in the flow of the Universe. Whatever he
intended, provided he followed the spiritual signature, eventually
came to him. He transformed the sharing into putting in com-
munity facilities in his housing developments at his own expense
as this felt like the right thing to do. The 13-4 is about learning to
take care of others, in this case in the form of building sustainable,
ecological co-housing communities (spiritual Talent 8-8s). it also
expands the spiritual goal 5-5s of being a visionary and pioneer
with his highly conscious co-housing communities.

arnold is the third partner in Michael William sampson and Bart
Alan’s architectural firm. He found it hard to ground into society
with the physical karmic 8-8s, which bridge his entire chart in
conjunction with his spiritual goal 8-8s, indicating it is a major
pattern to work through.
When he was younger, his mother was not really there for him
emotionally. she regarded him as an interruption to her career.
This lack of love was traumatic, and he numbed out as a result,
spending most of his time out of his body. as a baby, he needed
to emotionally bond with his mother so that he could feel safe in
the world, but this never happened. This resulted in him avoid-
ing connecting to anyone else for most of his life out the fear of
being rejected and abandoned again. arnold withdrew into an
emotional glass box (Asperger’s disorder, Ref 32) and from there
observed the world. He ended up living in his head, forming
mental body models of how emotions should be, but had never
felt the real thing and was not even aware of doing this. When he
was with people, especially women, he found it hard to be fully
emotionally present.
He just did not understand how people worked when he was
trying to relate to them and missed most of their emotional cues.
He tried to work it all out in his head as to what was going on, the
result being inappropriate responses. He became aware of this in
his 30s, but could not find a way to change this pattern. He felt
trapped in emotional solitary confinement in his glass box, an out-
sider, always excluded from the main groups of people he tried to
associate with. This included his family, other students at univer-
sity and people in general. He felt rejected, lonely and despairing.
Arnold had to learn what the different polarities of emotions
were: for example, joy and sadness, anger and fear. When things
got too emotionally intense for him, a feeling of wanting to die
would often come up, which was the ego trying to stop him going
deeper into his emotions. Being out of his body most of the time
