But he wasn’t done, he decided to join her. His cock grew harder within her, and she screamed a sound that was a complete loss of herself, of any restraint that she’d held, of any humiliation, self-preservation. She gave herself to him.

And his loud roar of completion echoed the same meaning to her.

A moment later, she found herself lying on top of him, back on the chair, both of their bodies covered in a sexy sweat. She stayed there, feeling boneless. Where had her muscles gone?

His laboured breath sounded deep beside her ear, and she had enough sense to realize she’d been so out of it that she hadn’t felt him lie down. Using every ounce of strength she had left, she raised her head. His eyes were closed, a pure, satisfied expression on his face.

She leaned down, kissed his lips. When she backed away, his eyelids fluttered open, and he stared intently at her. Those dark depths that could be so evil, yet were so kind. She felt giddy. “So, that’s what it’s like to fuck a demon.”

He grinned and arched an arrogant eyebrow. “And that’s what it’s like to fuck a witch.”

She laughed, feeling weightless, and let her head fall back onto his chest. As she closed her eyes, he wrapped his arm around her back and held her to him. His hands stroked her back, but not in a way to arouse her. No this was tender in a way that was far different to what he’d displayed a moment ago.

She felt warm and fuzzy all over. Maybe it was the best sex of her life that got her this way. Or maybe it was because someone did something so nice for her.

Sure, it could have been about Zeke doing an act that officially saved him from his demon roots, but what he’d done filled her heart with so much joy. To finally have something for herself--something she could use her magic for, to be the witch she was--even with her flaws. That sent happy tingles all through her. This was her home now, her place where she was meant to be, and he was the reason for it.

A demon. She could laugh at the thought. Never did she think this was where she would end up, or that Zeke would be the one pulling on her heartstrings. But there it was, and she wasn’t about to deny it.

She raised her head a little to examine him. His eyes shone with a rightness that she’d never dispute. This was a demon filled with the very beginning of love. A place to start building a lifetime together since he was interested in her for what she was without any conditions. She didn’t have to be someone else to fit in, she only had to be herself. A witch whose magic was a bit warped, whose heart now belonged to a demon, and who was now the owner of
Whatnots & Doodads.
