“Don’t worry about what’s ahead, Amber. It’s all going to work out. Just focus on what you have to do now and get through it. We’ll be waiting for you when you’re finished.”

Her lips only inches from Joy’s nipple, Amber planted an unexpected kiss. “Who would have thought getting tossed off a bus in Louisville, Kentucky, would turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to me?”

Joy guided Amber’s mouth back to her breast and readied her body for another round of lovemaking. Only two more hours of liberty but a lifetime of moments like these. “And the best thing for me too,” she said.
