Company rents a variety of products, including home electronics, appliances, computers, furniture, and accessories. The project was designed to implement and manage the Customer Information System. Was involved in Customer Focus project that looked through the company's entire customer database for every region and separated them based on customer details and their business profiles. The work also involved extracting old data from Oracle database into SQL Server.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Interacted with clients to assess the system and gathered user requirements for the inventory database and handled client requested enhancements.

Built DTS packages for data transfer from heterogeneous data sources like MS Access, MS Excel, and text files to SQL Server using VBScript, Stored Procedures, and T-SQL Scripts.

Created views to reduce apparent database complexity for end users.

Developed stored procedures and optimized SQL queries for efficiency and helped the front-end developer with queries and procedures.

Used efficient transactions and appropriate error handling steps.

Modified existing database by adding tables and altering referential integrity to avoid relationship-sensitive columns from being selected.

Mid-Cities Hospital is a nationally recognized and award-winning hospital dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The project involved designing the databases of patients' registrations, their appointments with various doctors/physicians, and patients' visits, as well as their related procedures, medications, and inventory of pharmaceutical stocks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Involved in all stages of Project Life Cycle Development.

Participated in gathering user requirements and system specifications.

Designed and developed database infrastructure. Developed the databases for the individual departments and the central database, which contains information about all the departments.
