The words of the Founders of our nation ring true today:
In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

As I will show you in this book, Obama is a tyrant in every sense of the word. He’s defied the will of the people as they expressed it in the resounding defeats they administered to Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections. He has ignored the pleas of the American people, shrugged off the rulings of state and federal court judges—going so far as to mock and insult the Supreme Court of the United States in his 2011 State of Union speech—and defied the attempts of Congress to shut down his illegal maneuvers.

I explained to you that the first two years of the Obama presidency amounted to nothing less than a leftist takeover of the United States. Early in his first term, with Democratic majorities in both the House and Senate, Obama pushed through sweeping legislation to take over the banks and automakers, seized control of health care, and took command of the student-loan market, eliminating private lenders.

When he couldn’t get even his own Democratic-controlled Congress to do his bidding, Obama found ways to bypass the lawmakers and judges and secretly implemented his subversive agenda via the rapidly expanding federal bureaucracy.

Let me take you through what you’ll read in
Trickle Down Tyranny
so you’ll get a sense of just how dangerous this subversive administration has become in only three short years.

In chapter 3, “Tyranny of the Government-Media Complex,” you’ll discover how Obama continues to subvert our free speech rights.

One of the techniques is the use of intimidation. A CBS reporter who has reported on the Department of Justice’s Fast and Furious scandal since it became public early in 2011 explained how the Obama administration tries to bully legitimate reporters into submission: “Well the DOJ woman [Tracy Schmaler] was . . . yelling at me. The guy from the White House on Friday night literally screamed at me and cussed at me.”

reporter sought to cover Obama’s trip to Boston, White House press secretary Jay Carney pointedly excluded him. He wanted only the loyalist White House press corps to cover the president when he visits American voters. When Vice President Joe Biden was speaking at a $500-per-plate fund-raiser in Florida,
Orlando Sentinel
reporter Scott Powers was roughed up and locked in a closet for several hours by presidential goons. The president himself has attacked Fox News and tried to exclude it from covering public events where the president is present. Obama has also put together a “war room” to use Facebook, Twitter, and other social media to send out his propaganda without the checks and balances of a free press.

In chapter 4, “Tyranny of the Treasurer,” I address one of the most important issues of our time: U.S. debt. In that chapter, you’ll read about how Obama has refused to rein in spending, growing the national debt from $9 trillion in 2009, when he took office, to more than $15 trillion in 2012. It took America from 1789 to 2008 to rack up $9 trillion in federal debt—it took Obama less than three years to increase that 200-year debt load by nearly 70 percent. He has refused to reform runaway so-called entitlements or cut payments that go to his supporters and donors. In Obama’s first three years, the national debt climbed from slightly more than 40 percent of our gross domestic product to more than 100 percent of GDP. Rather than cut spending, Obama spent the summer of 2011 fighting with Congress to increase federal debt by another $2.5 trillion.

But Obama can’t stop spending even on frivolous items. He’s nearly doubled the number of limousines used by government officials. In the last year of the George W. Bush administration, the federal government owned 238 limousines, according to the General Services Administration. By 2010, two years into Obama’s reign, the federal fleet had swelled to 412 limousines. Those limousines aren’t cheap. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) said that the Obama administration spent $1.9 billion to buy and operate limousines in 2009 alone. So let’s crunch the numbers. With a fleet of 412 limousines and a budget of $1.9 billion, that means that each vehicle costs the taxpayers just over $4.6 million. Even including the cost of the driver, security detail, higher gas prices, comprehensive insurance, maintenance, and parking fees, it is hard to see how the federal government can possibly spend $4.6 million per car. But they do, according to a March 2011 GAO report.

Who knows? Maybe they park it next to the $400-dollar hammer and the $2,000-dollar toilet seat? Leslie Paige of Citizens Against Government Waste, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, wasn’t amused. “It’s one more reason why there is so much cynicism in the public about what goes on in Washington.”

But beyond that, I’ll explain to you in chapter 4 how Goldman Sachs executives have essentially taken over the finances of the United States, and how they’ve instituted policies that have endangered the world economy by creating new collateralized debt that amounts to more than ten times the world GDP.

Chapter 5, “Tyranny of Obama’s Radical Accomplices,” explains how the White House has become labor union headquarters under Barack Obama. Former Service Employees International Union (SEIU) capo Andy Stern and AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka signed the White House Guest Register dozens of times as they cemented labor and public employee unions’ hold on this utterly corrupt administration. Labor unions have stood behind the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators and the mobs that destroyed public property in Wisconsin when they tried to shut down the state government after it had trimmed public employee unions’ bargaining rights.

To pile corruption on top of corruption, Obama has also drafted an executive order that says businesses seeking federal contracts must reveal who they made political contributions to, despite the fact that this is clearly a violation of our constitutional rights under law and the fact that federal contracts are required to go to the lowest bidder.

It doesn’t stop there.

When the Ford Motor Company—the one U.S. automaker that did not accept bailout money—aired a commercial in which a Ford owner made it clear that he wouldn’t buy a car from a company that had accepted bailout money, Obama bullied Ford into stopping the broadcast of the commercial.

As you’ll read in chapter 5, the leftist fondness for mob rule goes back to one of the most dangerous of radicals, Saul Alinsky. Obama was mentored in the art of “community organizing” by Alinsky disciples, and his administration is littered with leftists who adhere to the methods put forth in Alinsky’s book
Rules for Radicals
.

In chapter 6, “Tyranny of Obama’s Corporate Cronies,” I’ll explain to you how Obama has given over his administration to leftist thugs that he’s appointed as czars, bypassing the U.S. Constitution with no oversight or approval from America’s elected officials. The salaries of the czars are not reported to the public and they carry out duties only known to the president himself.

These unvetted lieutenants extend the administration’s illegal control over large segments of the U.S. economy, from automakers (Ed Montgomery, Director of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers) and oil producers (former Energy Czar Carol Browner) to college retirement funds (former Fannie Mae CEO Herb Allison) and marital relations (Lynn Rosenthal, White House Advisor on Violence Against Women). His Pay Czar, Ken Feinberg, was appointed to dictate what Americans can earn in the financial services industry and, eventually, in all industries.

In chapter 7, “Tyranny of the Egghead Wars,” I’ll take you through how the eggheads in the Obama administration—none of whom has a bit of experience in the real world—have hijacked America’s foreign policy and put it at the mercy of what’s known as the “Responsibility to Protect” doctrine, a political philosophy developed by disciples of one of the most dangerous men in the world, George Soros.

This doctrine lies at the foundation of the so-called Arab Spring—which has become the Arab Winter after the ouster of American allies in countries throughout the Middle East and their ongoing replacement with Islamic extremist governments. It’s the realization of the vision of American decline and the rise of dictatorships favored by Soros and his anti-Semitic, anti-American confederates to encircle and destroy the Jewish state of Israel as the first step in eliminating democracies around the world.

In chapter 8, “Tyranny of Treating Our Friends Like Enemies and Our Enemies Like Friends,” I take you on a tour of the world and explain to you how the Obama foreign policy has caused us to abandon the political allies who we’ve stood with since World War II and replace them with enemies of freedom, “allies” who are committed to the downfall of the United States.

The president’s foreign policy has been laughed at and ridiculed by the countries he has sought as our new allies, from Russia to Iran. Obama has encouraged the ouster of longtime American allies in the Middle East who have managed for the past 40 years to maintain a semblance of stability in that region, protecting Israel’s right to exist and promoting U.S. interests in the region. Now Obama turns his back as our new allies Iran and Syria kill their own citizens—who are truly committed to the overthrow of these two governments—while he supports the formation of new Islamist governments in countries that have gotten rid of leaders sympathetic to the United States.

It’s the most perverse, anti-American, anti-Israel policy of any president since the end of World War II, and it’s going to lead to a new caliphate in the Middle East, headed by a nuclear-armed Iran.

Chapter 9, “Tyranny of Green Energy,” talks about another of the most important components of the Obama takeover. After you’ve read this chapter, you’ll understand that Obama cares nothing about the environment or how energy is produced or how much pollution it creates. The sole purpose of his energy policy is to take power out of the hands of the people and transfer it to the U.S. government.

After acting with “determined disregard” (in the words of a federal judge) in summarily shutting down oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico during his inept handling of the 2010 Gulf oil spill, the Obama administration was found to be in contempt of court when it defied a federal judge’s order to remove his illegal ban. By that time, the number of deepwater rigs in the Gulf had shrunk to eight, from the more than 30 that had been in operation before the spill and before Obama had imposed his drilling moratorium. Tens of thousands of jobs disappeared when those rigs were forced to be abandoned by the destructive adolescent in the White House.

After the House and Senate had declined to pass cap-and-trade legislation, Obama decided to use the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to implement policies that he himself said were guaranteed to make electricity prices “skyrocket.” In doing so, he moved closer to his goal of taking over the U.S. energy industry by first crippling it, then commandeering it in much the same way he did the auto industry.

He followed this up with the “green energy” scandals. First, there was the $535 million taxpayer-guaranteed loan to political cronies at the failed solar shell corporation Solyndra, followed by a $737 million loan to another phony solar company—this one with direct ties to Solyndra and to Nancy Pelosi—only two weeks after the FBI had raided Solyndra.

Green energy has become a synonym for corrupt cronyism in the Obama administration. It has nothing to do with energy policy and everything to do with shutting down America’s energy production in the name of keeping political donors happy.

Chapter 10, “Tyranny of the Anti-Justice Department,” deals with the person I think is one of the most corrupt ever to occupy the office of Attorney General. Eric Holder effectively legalized limited amnesty for illegal aliens with the stroke of his pen when he signed an executive order designed to placate racist La Raza and other antidemocratic Hispanic pressure groups. He decided unilaterally not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriages as “only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife,” despite the fact that the law was passed by an 85–14 majority in the Senate and 342–67 in the House. In doing so, he’d taken the right to define marriage away from the Congress and the states, where it belongs, and effectively put it in the hands of Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder is the federal official who described the Black Panthers as “my people” when he got fed up with questions about how he handled a voting rights case involving that radical political group.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is allowed to use powerful and dangerous X-ray scanners to peer through the clothes of passengers. Hundreds of virtually nude scans of young women and famous actors were almost immediately posted on the Internet—the very thing Obama said wouldn’t happen. Not even infants or the elderly were exempt from the invasive scans.

If you didn’t want to be exposed to dangerous levels of radiation, you had to let a TSA agent grope you instead. Obama refuses to learn from Israel, which without invasive scans or pat-downs still manages to prevent terrorists from flying. But did you know that Eric Holder’s Justice Department has moved to ban flights out of Texas if that state makes TSA groping illegal?

At the time, I was the only one who explained to you what this move was really about: It represents one more way Obama is softening up the American people, getting them used to having their individual rights violated and their freedoms taken away. We now passively accept the TSA’s often perverse intrusions into our most personal space, and the Justice Department’s threats if groping is banned.
