Karina drew in a sharp breath at the bite of pain the stretching caused. He was huge, and so thick, she could hardly breathe. She shook, suddenly frightened. Dropping her head back, she stared wide-eyed up at the ceiling. Delacroix pressed fully inside her, then froze.
“Karina,” he murmured in her ear. “Stay with us. Relax.”
Karina closed her eyes and concentrated on the rapid beat of Delacroix’s heart against her back. His heat seeped into her skin, warming her, relaxing her. Slowly, the pain subsided, leaving behind a pleasurable ache that made her womb clench.
“That’s it,” Delacroix whispered and kissed her temple. “You have such a nice ass, Karina. So tight and hot.”
He began to move, slowly at first, letting her become accustomed to him. The ridges of the condom he’d covered himself with, rubbed along her channel, adding another layer of sensation that sent shivers up her back.
“Look at me, kitten,” Brayden commanded.
She lifted her head, meeting Brayden’s stare just before he covered her mouth with his. Karina moaned loudly, not caring who heard her, not caring that he would know how much she’d wanted that. His lips felt so good against hers, his tongue wicked as he slipped it into her mouth to stroke hers.
Brayden quickly slipped his hand between them and sheathed himself with a condom, before setting the head of his cock at her entrance. Karina dug her nails into her palms, desperate for him to be inside her but at the same time a little anxious. Delacroix was huge and so was Brayden. The two of them together would be…
Brayden thrust inside her without warning, sending her jerking back against Delacroix with a shout of pleasure-pain. She wasn’t sure at first if it hurt, or if it felt good. The stretching, the fullness of both massive cocks moving inside her, made her head spin like a wobbling top.
They moved together, each pressing deep, filling her so full she could hardly think. She could only feel, and everything she felt sent her closer to careening off the edge of rapture. The other orgasm was incredible. This one would be mind blowing.
She could feel it building, getting stronger as it tightened her womb. Every muscle in her body tensed and shook. Her thighs gripped Brayden’s hips, trying to force him deeper.
Brayden’s fingers dug into her thighs, while Delacroix’s moved to her breasts. He pinched her nipples hard, and the bite of pain was the final straw. Karina exploded in a blinding pleasure she never imagined existed. Every part of her seemed to expand outward, then throb in time with her heartbeat. She screamed as everything in the room went white, leaving her with nothing but an overabundance of sensation.
Vaguely, she felt Brayden and Delacoix stiffen. She knew instinctively they’d come, but couldn’t garner the energy to do anything but sag between them. Her mind felt fuzzy and lost, her body weak and shaking.
Delacroix frowned as his pleasure was suddenly bombarded with feelings of anger and hatred. He shook his head, then glanced at Brayden. It wasn’t him. Where was it coming from?
He tried to push the thoughts out of his head, but they wouldn’t budge. If anything, they became stronger the more he tried to push them away. He focused his attention on Karina, who still hung between him and Brayden.
“She hit sub-space,” Delacroix whispered.
Brayden nodded.
Delacroix pulled from Karina’s ass and tossed the condom into the small trashcan every scene area had. He then held Karina while Brayden removed his condom and reached up to loosen the cuffs holding Karina’s wrists.
Her arms fell lifeless to her sides. Her legs were too weak to hold her up, so she sagged backward into Delacroix’s chest. While he held her, Brayden took a moment to rub the blood back into her arms. As he did, Karina never moved. Delacroix would’ve enjoyed the moment, holding the pretty submissive, but all he could think about was the anger radiating around him.
What the hell was he feeling? He tried to look over Karina’s head for some clue, but he couldn’t tell where it was coming from. Why would he feel emotion, but not be able to pinpoint it?
His stomach tightened with anxiety. He’d done this once before. Was the killer here now? Was he watching them? Was he angry because he recognized Karina?
He should say something to Brayden, but not right now. Karina would hear him, and he didn’t want her to know yet. Not until he knew for sure.
“Delacroix?” Brayden asked.
Delacroix turned his attention from the surrounding crowd and looked at Brayden. “If you’ll take her, I’ll get you a blanket.”
Brayden nodded, but the frown on his face didn’t fade. Delacroix tried to hide his worry, but sometimes emotions hit him so hard, they left him unable to cover up his reactions to them. This was one of those times. The anger he felt running through him was almost palpable.
Brayden took Karina into his arms and headed over to a quiet corner. Delacroix fixed his pants and motioned for a member of the tuxedoed guards.
“Grab Master Brayden a blanket and a couple of drinks,” Delacroix commanded.
The guard nodded and headed off to do his bidding. In the meantime, Delacroix wanted to take a stroll around the club and see if he could pinpoint where the negative emotion was coming from.
Brayden carried a limp Karina to a small sitting area in the corner. His own legs wobbled a little as he turned and dropped into the overstuffed chair, settling Karina on his lap.
Her arms were pinned between them, her head on his shoulder, her soft breath against his neck. He glanced down and studied her lashes as they lay across her fair cheeks. She looked so peaceful right now, so worry free. He wished he could keep that look on her face.
He was falling for her and didn’t know how to stop it. He tried to treat her like any sub. She’d shown an interest in a threesome, so, being a good Dom, he’d made it happen. But it would be the last one, if he had anything to say about it. It had been hard to fight the feelings of possessiveness that had gripped him at the sight of Delacroix touching her.
It was then he’d realized just how much he’d come to care for the stubborn agent.
He dropped his head back against the chair and tightened his arms around the sleeping bundle in his arms. “I’m so screwed.”
He stepped outside and drew in a deep breath of cool night air. He needed to calm down. He still couldn’t believe she was here—the one woman who got away. Years he’d spent looking for her only to come up empty.
But the gods had favored him by dropping her right back into his lap. His pretty little Goth angel. Gone was the black hair and nail polish, but he’d recognize that face anywhere.
He liked the new strawberry blonde. It suited her and matched what had covered her pussy all those years ago. Soon she would be his again, and he’d finally get to finish what he started.
Karina awoke sometime in the early morning hours and frowned at the hotel wall. How had she gotten back? She tried to remember and could only get bits and pieces. She remembered the threesome, up until her orgasm. After that, there wasn’t much of anything.
She could remember cuddling on Brayden’s lap and a drink, then maybe being carried home, but…she suddenly noticed the arm around her waist and the warm chest against her back.
Brayden was still here with her?
She shifted slightly, moving closer to his warmth.
“Shh,” he whispered.
Karina smiled slightly. Brayden had apparently stayed to take care of her. Instead of anxiety, she felt safe. Was it because she knew Brayden so well? Was it because they were friends first?
Did it really matter?
All she knew was she’d slept in the arms of a man and didn’t feel fear. She smiled and turned to face her knight.
His eyes were closed, his dark lashes fanned against tan cheeks that were in sore need of a shave. She ran the backs of her fingers over his whiskers, enjoying the rough feel and wondering what it would be like to have those whiskers scratch at the inside of her legs.
Just thinking about it made her pussy ache, although her ass was still a little sore from the night before. Despite how nice it had been, that wasn’t something she wanted to repeat too often. She’d probably have trouble sitting most of the day.
“I need to shave, don’t I?” he mumbled.
“I don’t know. I think it’s kinda nice. It gives you that dangerous look.”
He snorted softly then opened his eyes, watching her sleepily. “You okay? I was beginning to worry about you a bit.”
She frowned. “Why?”
“It took you a long time to come down from sub-space. I’m not even sure you did completely before you crashed on the bed.”
“I think all the stress of the last few days has gotten to me.”
His lips lifted in a sleepy half-grin. “Maybe I should get you to sub-space more often.”
She winced. “Just not tonight. My ass is too sore for round two.”
Brayden chuckled and glanced at the clock over her shoulder. With a sigh, he said, “It’s nine. We need to get up and moving. The director wants a briefing at noon.”
“Why? We don’t have anything to tell him.”
“Not only that, but another woman was killed, and we’re no closer to figuring this out.” Brayden rose up on his elbow. “You were out of it and didn’t notice, but after the threesome, Delacroix was acting very strange.”
She frowned. “Strange how?”
“I don’t know really. After I took you to the sitting area, I watched him pace around the room as though looking for something.”
“Or someone,” Karina murmured. “He said he’d connected to a killer once before. Do you suppose it happened again?”
“Only one way to find out.”
Karina let her gaze drop to Brayden’s bare chest. She was naked under the covers. Apparently, Brayden had undressed her when they got back. But was he? She tried to remember how he’d felt against her when she first woke up, but couldn’t be sure.
“What are those wheels in your head turning over?” Brayden asked.
She jerked her gaze back to his as the heat of a flush moved over her cheeks. She wasn’t usually one to easily embarrass, but when it came to Brayden knowing how much she was coming to care for him, she did. And she hated it.
“Thanks for staying with me,” she said.
Brayden smiled softly and his eyes crinkled at the corners. “Anytime, kitten. Do you realize you made it through the night in my arms and didn’t once freak out?”
She grinned. “Yes, I noticed that.”
He tweaked her nose. “You’re making progress. That trip to Fiji is getting closer and closer every day.”
It was on the tip of her tongue to say she could only do that trip with him. It was Brayden she felt most comfortable with. It was Brayden she trusted. It was Brayden she wanted to go to Fiji with. Unfortunately, she hadn’t gotten any hint that things had changed for him, so, for now, she’d keep her mouth shut.
