Chapter 17

I could not control my rage.

A gray smoke around my body and carried me into the court of the school.

I did this in a few seconds.

I was faster than one plane.

The gymnasium there was no one besides me.

It was only darkness and immense void in place.

The kiss scene between Eros and Mirta was still fresh in my mind.

I was positioned in the center of the court; I opened my arms and downloaded all my anger, which was not little. A blue energy went out
of my hands and destroyed part of the sports hall.

The nets tore. The basketball hoops melted and lamps broke.

I felt happy to do that.

I still was not satisfied, and then I destroyed the floor too. Where were huge cracks?

After all this vampire show my face got so human.

I fell to the ground; I was weakened, having spent almost all my energies to that show.

Chapter 18

Other day I came to school as if nothing had happened. I walked with my head upraised.

Everyone around me was commenting about the destruction of the gymnasium.

They were surprised by the vandalism.

The school principal called the authorities to investigate the case, since they had no idea who would have done it, and because anybody would have done it if it ha
d no theft vestige.

Halfway down the hall I met with
Mirta, who came to me. She could not face me due to what had happened between her and Eros last night.

“
Hi!” she said and her head down.

I did not answer.

“Did you see what happened in the sports court? This has never happened here!” she was surprised. “Why you're strange?” she insisted.

“
You do not want to see me today?”

“
Do not want to see you today and any day”, I said resentful.

“Why are you treating me this way?”

“Do you still ask me?” I stared at her with a great hatred.

“
I do not know what you're talking about”, Mirta smoothed her hair, stunned.

“
I know everything”

“
About?”

”About the kiss between you and Eros”

”Did he say it to you?”

Mirta
was desperate to know that I was informed of everything.

“
Make good use of him!” I said with my head-on, I would not show my weakness.

“
Valkyrie! Wait!” she cried hopeless.

I looked back.

“You made your choice”, I said, uncompromising.

I turned and went back to the front walk. Not to give her a chance to approach me.

The tie involving my friendship with Mirta broke when she returned the kiss of Eros.

Mirta
would never occupy the post of my friend after what happened.

Chapter 19

Now I had no friend
in that school.

Mirta
not contacted me after our discussion. She knew I no longer wanted her friendship, much less to endure her presence.

That's why she always got away from me.

She changed her place of sitting in the classroom.

When the math class ended, everyone left the scene.

I remained in the room, to save time and not look at the nose of Mirta.

Someone returned to the classroom.

I looked at the figure approaching me.

When I recognized who it was, I said:

“Douglas!”

“
Valkyrie! I need to talk to you.”

“
If it's about us ...forget about it!” I ordered.

“
Why do not you give me a chance?” he asked.

“
I don't like you”

“I do not care about that”

“But I care”, I grabbed my things.

He grabbed my arm and felt the coldness of my skin.

“You’re cold ...”

“
I'm cold!” I said, looking at him.

“
Now liberate my arm!”

“
No”

I felt threatened by Douglas. He did not like the way he addressed me. His desire for me mad
e
me upset.

He hugged me and tried to kiss me strength.

My lips were near his neck.

I could not control my urge to drink his blood.

He screamed as he felt my teeth piercing his neck. The blood flowed and I was sucking more and more, without interruptions.

I was wise to abandon my prey; I had sucked 99% of
his blood.

He was unconscious, he would die within minutes.

I could not leave the corpse in the classroom and raise suspicions that there was a vampire among humans.

I disappeared into a dark smoke, and took the corpse in
to my arms.

Chapter 20

The dates of Eros and
Mirta became frequent.

He went to school just to get her at the
exit moment.

It was a way for me to witness
his involvement with her.

Basically he wanted to harm me, leave me in anger; maybe he wanted to take revenge on me by what my father did to him, having banished him from Neptune.

Despite his strong physical attraction to Mirta, I saw no other feeling in him.

He seemed to want to use her to hit me.

And he was getting.

I watched the two in the schoolyard.

Mirta put her hands at his face to make caresses.

She was smiling the whole time; her face did not deny that she was in love with him.

All her feelings for Christian had disappeared.

She looked at me and saw that I watched them, with my face closed.

The two hugged and walked on and it left my shattered nerves.

My vampire powers gave me wings to do several things that a human could not do.

I focused my mind on a huge stone in the courtyard. It got up and sprinted to the head of Eros. The stone got grazed into his ear. He being back to me, he felt the object approaching, and then he took the stone before it could do damage his head. He knew I had done it with my vampire powers.

He threw the stone back, without looking at me and walked beside her and
Mirta did not see anything, she just looked at the stone on floor, when she heard the noise of the same falling down.

“What was that?
” Mirta asked, frightened.

“
A stone has come for a walk.” Eros answered, ironic.

“What did you tell?
” she asked, stunned.

“
It is joke!”

Chapter 21

I made the journey
from home as a mere mortal ... ‘Walking’.

I could become a smoke and get fast at home.

But I did not want to do this.

I needed to walk and reflect my damn life.

Eros came on top and fell standing in front of me.

I stopped walking after his sudden presence.

“
What are you doing here?” I asked, injured.

“
That stone almost hit me”, he informed, serious.

“
It is a pity you stopped it in time”

“
What does the jealousy?”

He came to the conclusion of my violent reaction.

Although I was a vampire, that reaction did not fit my behavior.

“Why don’t you leave me alone?” I asked, in enragement.

“
It isn't what you want”, he said playing with the fingers of the hand

“
I want”, I walked in front of him. “Stop chasing me!”

“
All right”, he went up and vanished into thin air.

I looked at the sky and did not see traces of him.

He answered my prayer.

Chapter 22

The school was frightened by a huge snake that appeared in
to the yard, in the middle of classes.

Students rushed to the hall of the school.

The school board came to see what was happening.

Students reported they saw a huge snake crawling on the lawn near the entrance.

Some employees were assigned to search for the snake and kill it.

They took hours doing searches and found nothing.

Due to this, students were dismissed early.

After
school, I was surprised by Bizak outside, near the main gate.

“
Bizak!” I said, surprised.

“
Valkyrie!” he said, smiling.

“
What are you doing here?”

“
I'm walking”, he said.

“Did you come on my father's behalf?
” I asked.

“
Your father fell asleep, he did not know I'm here”, he explained.

“That snake in the yard was you?”

“I did not think it would cause so much noise!”

He thought it was funny to see people getting into panic.

“You could have been more discreet.”

“
I will not do that again.”

“How did you find me here?”

“It was not hard to find you.”

“
Do you want to stay long on Earth?”

“
I still do not know ...”

“M
y father? How is he?”

“
How I told, he is...sleeping.”

We walked together to the main street.

“Your father banished Eros from Neptune.” Bizak withered his countenance due to daylight.

He was not used that panorama.

“I'm aware”, I said normally.

“
How do you know?” he asked, staggered.

“
Eros told me”, I confessed.

“
Is he here?” Bizak asked astonishment.

“
Yes”, I responded as my thought was at Eros.

“
What’s he doing here?” Bizak sniffed.

“
I don't know.”

“
Valkyrie, beware of Eros. He may have come here, to take vengeance on you.”

I looked Bizak, which he said it could make sense.

“I do not think he's capable of it.”

“You do not know Eros enough and to spare”, Bizak said, trying to prove otherwise.
