Thomas Lynch
is an essayist, poet, and funeral director of Lynch & Sons funeral home in Milford, Michigan. His most recent book is
Booking Passage: We Irish and Americans.

. He published his first volume of poetry,

, and elsewhere. He divides his time between West Clare, Ireland, and Milford, Michigan, where he has been a funeral director for more than thirty-five years.
