With all the commotion, I couldn’t believe that Gray and Risk hadn’t come to see what was happening. I wondered why Risk wasn’t in the room with me and if Joey had done something to him. My mind was running a million miles per minute when Joey launched the last intact piece of my computer desk and turned to look me straight in the eyes. I froze in terror and felt myself start to tremble when he started stalking towards me. He pointed his finger towards my face and said, “
You…

I couldn’t think of anything at all to say. I couldn’t make myself move or scream. I laid there on my bed, just waiting for something horrible to happen to me. When Joey was about an inch from my face and ready to pounce I quickly blurted out, “I found your mother!” and he froze. His eyes blazed right in front of mine, but neither of us said anything for several
long
minutes. He looked so wound up that he might spontaneously combust at any moment. I couldn’t handle the silence anymore and I was scared out of my mind, so I started to ramble.

“I’ll tell you where and how I found her, but you’re going to have to be calm enough to reason with me first. You’re going to have to sit down here with me and talk civilized like we used to. You used to
like
to talk to me, didn’t you Joey? It wasn’t that long ago…” And my mouth just kept going and going until he finally spoke.

“Tell me what you know and I’ll leave here without harming you or your friends.”

I got some courage knowing that Joey was backing down and said, “I know that this is worth a hell of a lot more to you than that.” Joey looked down and nodded. That’s when I noticed the pounding noise at my door. Risk and Gray were on the other side yelling, “Why the hell can’t I get in there? What’s going on Marlee? Are you alright? MARLEE!” I knew that they were worried sick about me so I yelled back, “I’m fine guys just give me a few minutes. I’m okay.”

Joey looked up at me with his eyes still glowing red, but his expression had softened. I took the opportunity to make my list of demands. “I don’t know how or why you have condemned all of those poor souls to an eternity of feeling lost here like you do, but it’s time to let them go. You can’t make everyone miserable because you’re feeling sorry for yourself. They’ve done nothing to you.”

He thought for a moment before he said, “Fine, but you’re going to have to deliver before I stop anything. You’ve got a deal, but I want to see her before I’ll let them go.”

It seemed practical to me that he would want payment up front, but I didn’t think that he was going to react well when he saw his mother and what she had become. Even if he was a nasty mean ghost, he still loved her very much and he was going to blame himself for what had become of her. I decided that it was our best chance and so I tried to strike another deal with him.

“Give me three days and I’ll take you to her. We’ll meet here on Sunday morning.”

Joey stuck his hand out so that we could shake on our deal. I wasn’t sure how a hand shake could work between a soul and a living person, but I thought it might just be symbolic. I was surprised when my hand met his solid, firm grip. We shook hands while staring at each other hard in the eyes, and then Joey disappeared and my bedroom door burst open.

By the time the sun had appeared I had told Gray and Risk everything that had taken place between Joey and I and Gray demanded to know every detail that I could remember. Risk and I picked up as much of my room as we could in a short time and he tried salvaging my books that only had a few pages stripped from them. My mom was going to freak when she saw all of my furniture missing, but I had until the next morning before we had to worry about it.

Risk and I couldn’t miss the day of school or we would be banned from going to our senior prom. The beautiful dress that he bought would be wasted and my mom would be crushed, so we got dressed and ready and reluctantly took off to school. In first period English we sat side by side, holding hands, and I was soaking up every minute that I had with him. I was still feeling as though the bottom could drop out of our happiness at any time. Risk must have noticed my concern because he looked at me and gave me a sultry smile that make my thighs twitch. Even though the events of the night had shaken me, I couldn’t help but think of Risks hands all over me for the entire school day. By the time the bell rang to let me out of my last class of the day, I was practically panting from my own thoughts alone.

Risk met up with me at my locker and I blushed and looked away from him. He noticed my reaction and looked at me through darkened eyes that nearly had me climaxing. I had to work that night and I couldn’t afford to be anything but clear headed. I counted the minutes up in my head and decided that I had exactly twenty minutes that I could spare before I had to bolt to work. I grabbed Risks hand and practically ran down the hallway before ducking into a girl’s bathroom. I barricaded the door behind us with trash cans.

Risk was kissing my face and neck as he was backing me up against the sink. My head was thrown back and I felt him reach up behind me and tug on the ends of my hair. His lips made their way up to my ear and he whispered, “I missed you so much. God Marlee, I fucked up. I’m so sorry. I love you. I love you.” And he slipped his hands down the front of my loose fitting jeans. As soon as his fingers came into contact with my body I came apart in his hand. As I was coming he shoved a finger inside of me to sweeten the effect and it worked exactly as he planned.

When I felt like I could get my feet under me again I hurried with the button on his pants and shoved them down to the floor taking his boxer briefs with them. I wrapped my fingers around his stiffness and just the feel of him made me ready for more. I squeezed him a little, relishing in the power of what I was doing to him, and he gasped. I started to stroke him slowly when he pulled my hand away and spun me around so that his stomach was shoved up against my back and I was leaned over the sink. He pushed my hair aside and leaned down so that his lips were hovering over my neck.

“I’ve been thinking about you nonstop today. I’ve wanted to feel you so bad.” He said.

He reached around me to unbutton my pants and shoved them to the floor. He nudged the inside of my legs, making them spread apart, while holding me firmly against him. I felt his stiffness lightly rubbing between my thighs and I ached to have him inside of me. He slipped himself slowly back and forth so that he was barely touching me, and it was driving me crazy.

I stuck my butt out towards him and moaned, hoping that he would get the hint. Risk just giggled at me and his hand moved from my stomach down to between my legs slowly and teasingly. He moved his finger slowly in a circle over me and I reached behind myself to stroke him as he moved back and forth. Just as he was about to send me over the edge again, he took his hand away to put it on my hip and steadied himself as he slowly entered my body. When the length of him was inside me he started moving in and out, quickening his pace with each thrust. I was already doing everything that I could to keep from coming before him when he reached around me and started to stroke me again as he was pumping into me. I couldn’t hold onto myself anymore and I let go with a scream. Somewhere in my euphoria I heard Risk saying, “Holy fuck Marlee! You’re amazing. I love you so much. Don’t ever leave me.” And he shuddered and collapsed onto my back.

We gathered ourselves quickly and ran out of the school hand in hand, laughing the entire way to my Delray. We got to the car and noticed that it had been wrapped in shrink wrap all the way around so that I wasn’t going to be able to open the doors without cutting the plastic with a razor blade. On the hood of the car was a sticky note that said,

All of these stupid pranks can stop, I just want one thing in return.

I rolled my eyes before glancing at Risk who looked infuriated. I didn’t realize that he could be so possessive of me and it made me blush.

“Don’t worry about this. Those douche bags do this stuff all the time. I’m used to it.” I said and he shook his head without looking away from the car. After a moment of letting him stew I pulled his hand in the direction of his car while reminding him that I needed to be at work.

I changed into my uniform in the car on the way to Rocktop and tried to straighten my crazy hair with my fingers. It had gotten pretty wild while Risk had his hands wrapped in it and I knew that Remi and Jane would have something to say about its’ disarray. When we pulled up into the parking lot I jumped out and dashed inside without even waving at Remi and Jane as I passed them. After I was clocked in and ready I got to work on my tables. The place was already filling up and I wasn’t used to working Friday nights so the crowd was more than I was used to.

After about a half an hour into my shift I caught a glimpse of Gray sitting at a table full of guys, which was extremely unusual. Gray normally preferred the company of the prettiest women in the bar, whether she was classy or trashy, and there were plenty to choose form on this particular night. I waited my tables until I saw a small opening of time and I took the opportunity to prance over to the table that Gray was sitting at, which was in Remi’s section of the bar. I was trying to get Grays attention, without drawing any to myself, when I felt hands come up behind me and firmly cup my ass through my thin shorts. I yelped before spinning around and coming face to face with Jon Gillman. Apparently Gray had been keeping an eye on him and his idiot friends.

I threw up a little in my mouth. He had clearly been drinking, though I’m not sure how because he was only eighteen, but he was definitely three sheets to the wind. I gave him my nastiest scowl and tried to walk around him, but he sidestepped at the last minute, making me trip and fall into him. He grabbed my breasts while he was pretending to catch me and he got a good laugh out of it. I pushed him away as best as I could, but I barely budged him.

The bar was so busy that no one was even noticing my struggle except for Gray. He had come to stand beside me and was shouting the nastiest things at Jon that I had ever heard him say before. I thought that it was a shame that no one else could hear him besides me. I tried my best to get around him again, but he wouldn’t let me, so I finally planted my feet and crossed my arms over my chest.

“What the fuck do you want Jon?”

He gave me a devious smile and I thought I was really going to lose my lunch then. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, “I need you to fuck me like you did that freak show kid in the bathroom today. I need you to make me squeal like he did.”

I stood my ground and tried to keep my courage, but it was fading fast as I realized that no one was noticing me. I stood there like an idiot as I saw his lips coming to mine. I was frozen in disbelief as Gray was yelling towards someone behind Jon. That’s when I saw Risk coming up behind him with a curled fist, ready to knock him on his ass. I snapped out of my temporary coma when I thought about how much influence the Gillman’s had in this town. Jon’s dad was golf buddies with the mayor and nobody messed with them without getting the book thrown at them.

I knew I couldn’t live with myself if Risk ended up behind bars because of me. I couldn’t picture him in a cell next to his deranged mother, dressed in an orange jump suit, though he would look hot in anything. Before I even realized what I was doing I felt my knee come up and hit Gillman straight in the family jewels. When he leaned over from the pain of the impact I kicked my other knee up to bash him in the nose. Risk stopped dead in his tracks as he watched my Jedi moves and I heard Gray next to me yelling, “Fuck yeah! That’s my girl!” as I watched Jon Gillman fall into a heap on the floor, bleeding on me shoes.

The police were called again and I could tell that they were really starting to become suspicious of me being involved in all of the town drama lately. Jon Gillman was taken to the hospital by his dad who assured me that I would be hearing from his lawyer. I explained to the police that what I had done had been purely self-defense, but the damsel in distress act was wearing thin with them, and they made no attempt to hide their annoyance with me.

Risk and Gray both had a glow of pride on their faces and Risk made sure to tell the police that he thought I had done the right thing too, and that I had done a hell of a lot less damage than he would have had he gotten to him first. Jane and Remi seemed to be getting a bit nervous of me themselves. After all, they didn’t really know too much about me and I kept getting caught up in all this bad stuff lately. I was probably going to have to ex them off of my list of friends…my very short list of friends.
