Caleb, with his arms around her, picked her up in his arms, her other leg hooking and locking around his waist. Lennox tore her lips away from him and started kissing across his cheek and down his neck as far as she could go, her teeth grazing over his skin and nipping at the bottom of his ear. A growl rumbled in his chest as he pulled the blanket back on his bed and laid her down, her head on his pillow. He hooked his fingers on the sides of her panties and without delay pulled them down and threw them aside where they landed in their pile of clothes already on the floor, then crawled into bed with her.

The thin white sheet from Caleb’s bed covered Lennox as she lay on her back with Caleb next to her, propped up on his elbow; his free hand flat against the bareness of her stomach making small soft circles around her belly button. Lennox reached up and brushed the piece of hair that had fallen into his face away. “Caleb,” she whispered softly, suddenly nervous about what was about to happen.

“Right here, baby.”

Her hand fell softly over his tattooed arm, her eyes avoiding his, and only watching her fingers as they traced along the outline of King Kong on his arm. “I... I’ve only done this once, and it was a while ago,” she told him, leaving everything else unsaid, hoping he understood what she was saying.

He dipped his head down a bit to gain her attention. When she finally looked at him, he kissed her lips, then said, “Lox, we’ll go slow and take our time; there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than right here, right now with you.” She nodded as he brushed his lips across hers then rolled to his back and reached across to his night stand and pulled a black wrapper from his drawer.

Lennox watched him rip the wrapper open with his teeth. He placed the condom on and rolled it down over his shaft. “I guess I should tell you I’m on the pill now.”

“Good. Double protection,” he said as he rolled back over and looked down at her with a cunning smirk, “for now, anyways.” Lennox nodded with a small smile. She and Caleb had already talked about their past sexual partners and knew they were both clean so when and if they decided to not use a condom there was nothing for them to worry about.

Caleb moved, positioning himself between her parted legs, his upper body resting against hers. Looking down at her with nothing but the upmost adoration glowing in his eyes, she felt him at her opening that was more than ready for him. His forearms were resting flat against the bed, holding him up, as his head dipped down, claiming her mouth. His left hand found her right one and holding her hand tightly, he brought it up beside her head. As he began to slowly slide inside, he breathed, “Open up for me baby, spread your legs.” As she did what he asked, he stopped for a moment, looked down at her and took in her beauty. Not being able to hold off any longer, his lips crashed down on hers, taking her breath away as he slid in deeper. Tearing her lips away from him, a surprising gasp sounded as she whispered, “Caleb.”

“It’s okay, baby, almost there,” he whispered, his eyes not wavering from hers. He moved his hips forward slowly until he was fully buried inside her and his head fell into the crook of her neck, a moan full of pleasure vibrating against her skin. “You okay, Lox?” he whispered, lifting his head.

Lennox ignored the slight twinge of pain and nodded. It was almost like her first time only the pain didn’t last the whole time, and it slowly began to fade away leaving her with the feeling of Caleb inside her. When he shifted his weight above her, she felt the sensational jolts that made her stomach tighten and send a shock wave of fire through her and she didn’t want anything else but that feeling. She needed it again, a lot of it followed by more of him, more of his touch, more of his taste; more of anything he could give her in that moment and forever.

He looked down at her with eyes full of heated passion as she began moving her hips into him, a telling sign she was ready. The glow in his eyes caused the air to rush from her lungs as he started moving slowly inside her, their eyes on one another until he picked up the pace and moved a little faster. Her leg came up and hooked around his waist just as he hit the spot. “Caleb,” she moaned in pleasure as she arched her back; her left hand grasping his bicep, before it fell to her side and clutched a handful of the blanket in her hand tightly.

Caleb watched her move under him, her eyes fluttering open and closed in bliss and though he couldn’t see into her eyes at that moment he knew they were radiating with a desire so deep that, with one look, gave him more than he could ask for. His head fell into the crook of her neck and with his pace not changing, he mumbled against her skin, “My Dove, so beautiful, so perfect,” he said, then looked up into her hooded eyes, “and all mine.”

“Always,” she whispered, a moan following close behind.

She heard him call her his Dove, a name he’d never used until then and even though she didn’t know what it meant or what made him call her that, she liked it, almost more than Lox. And as much as she wanted to ask him about it and tell him she loved it, it didn’t matter at that moment and soon that curiosity fleeted away as nothing mattered in that moment other than their bodies moving together in perfect union, forging together, becoming one.

Lennox and Caleb were lying together in his bed after making love. Her head was resting against his chest, feeling the movement of it rising and falling, while his eyes were closed as his hand played softly with her hair, smoothing it back in a relaxing manner.

“Why Dove?” she asked softly, her finger making soft, small circles on his left peck right above his heart.

With his dishevelled hair and bright affectionate eyes, he tilted his head down and looked at her with a lazy smile playing across his lips, and asked, “What’s that?”

Lennox lifted her head off his chest and looked at him with her exuberant golden eyes as they shimmered with desire. “You called me your Dove, why?” she asked softly, her voice smooth like honey.

Caleb, still looking down at her, basked in the beauty that was all her. There hadn’t been a moment with her where he didn’t find her anything but breathtakingly beautiful. And watching her lay across his chest, naked, and covered in nothing but the thin sheet that he wrapped around them, felt like a dream. He had come close to having the best thing in his life walk out on him and he never wanted to feel that again; that gut wrenching, jagged knife to the heart feeling of something special, something only lucky people get blessed with, come a step closer to falling away from you. But looking down at her, bathing in nothing but the pure bliss of what they had just shared, like everything was right in the world and nothing could touch them, it was simple why he called her his Dove.

They were a symbol of many things but the one thing that stood out to him was hope. Hope, the one thing Caleb never had and never believed in, the one thing he had been so sure he’d never find, especially as of late, and he ended up finding it. And he found it in the one person he didn’t want to be without, the one person who shined so bright, she lit up his dark world. That’s what he saw when he looked into her golden honey eyes, a glimpse of hope; something to hold on to and show him the way out if he let her. Unknowingly she was his saving grace from all the dark, treacherous parts of his life; she was his Dove.

“Hope, Lennox. You give me the utmost of hope.”

“Hope?”

“Yeah.”

“Hope for what?” she asked, tilting her head to the side not understanding.

“Everything baby,” he said simply and before she could say anything else he reached down and lifted her up, rolled her onto her back then hovered over her as the softest look washed over his face. She reached her hand up to run it over his forehead, then smoothed it softly down, over his cheek where his head turned into her delicate touch and his lips brushed against her palm, his stubble scratching the back of her hand.

She sighed at the warmth of his breath gliding over her hand, “I love you baby,” she breathed.

“Love you too, Dove.” His lips claimed hers hungrily and they started making love for a second time that afternoon.

“Yo,” Caleb said, answering his phone as he walked out of the room fully dressed in a pair of faded jeans and a tight navy blue long sleeve shirt that showed off his broad shoulders.

Lennox riffled through her overnight bag for something to wear. Having just got out of the shower, she was still wrapped in a towel as her hair hung off to the side, completely soaked. Digging through her bag she grabbed her new black bra and panty set, her jeans that had a small tear in the right knee, her black tank top, and her dark purple lace crop top.

After she dressed, she made her way into his bathroom where she had left her makeup bag and hair dryer and went to work on doing her makeup a bit darker than usual. Drying her hair, she decided to leave it in soft waves over her shoulders and down her back, only pulling one side back and pinning it. As she finished up the last bit of makeup she jumped when she saw Caleb leaning against the door jam, watching her through the mirror, “Shit,” she gasped, her hand flying to her chest, “how long you been standing there?”

“A few minutes,” he grinned.

“Well, damn you scared me,” she said, laughing softly as she went back to finishing her makeup.

“Sorry, baby.” Lennox heard something in his voice that made her turn in his direction and look at him curiously with knitted brows. “What?” he asked.

“That’s what I’m wondering.”

“You cool if we go hang out with Ty and Kassie tonight?”

Lennox felt her face fall but recovered quickly with a smile, hoping Caleb hadn’t noticed. She didn’t have to ask what they were going to do when she already knew the answer herself, “Sure, when?” she asked, turning back to the mirror.

“Whenever you’re ready, we can stop for a bite to eat before we go if you’re hungry,” he offered.

Lennox nodded her head, and said, “Yeah, starving.”

Caleb came up behind her and slid his arms around her waist as he lowered his head to kiss the base of her neck. A grin then spread over his lips as he whispered in her ear, “I’d gladly starve to have every day like today, Dove.”

“But I like food,” she teased.

He rolled his eyes, “Fine, a day like today with a mini fridge next to the bed?”

“Better,” she grinned, throwing her makeup brush back in her bag then turned in his embrace, her arms curling around his neck. “Are you taking me home later tonight?”

His face scrunched up in confusion, “I wasn’t planning on it. Why, is that where you wanna go after?” he asked, and she could hear the disappointment in his voice.

“Nope, I was just making sure I was going to be waking up next to you in the morning.”

He smirked, “I’m sure you’ll be waking up to more than just me,” he wiggled his eye brows.

Lennox laughed as she lightly slapped his shoulder, “You’re such a guy.”

“Proved that this afternoon, babe,” he said smugly, “twice.” He brought his hand up with two fingers flipped up in the air.

“So you’ll be good for a few days then,” she assumed

“That’s what you think. I know your sweet spot baby; one move and you turn to liquid in my hands,” he winked, “in more ways than one.”

Lennox rolled her eyes, shaking her head trying not to laugh, “Can we go now?”

Caleb nodded then led them out of the bathroom and into his room where Lennox slipped her chucks on and zipped her jacket up only to look at Caleb who was standing by the door waiting. “Jacket, its cold out.”

“I’m good. I’m naturally hot,” he smirked, “this will be fine.”

“Fine, if you freeze don’t say I didn’t warn you,” she said, in a matter-of-fact tone, then grabbed her purse off the bed and tossed her cell phone inside then followed Caleb out of the room and out to the car.

“Where’s Emerson?” she asked as she pulled her seat belt across her and clicked it in while Caleb started his car.

He shrugged his shoulders, “Don’t know, probably with Reed or his chick of the week.”

Taken aback, Lennox asked, “He has chicks of the week?”

Caleb nodded, “You seem surprised,” he said, stating the obvious.
