“Okay, baby. Wrap your legs around me.”

As soon as she placed her legs around his waist he grabbed her ass to help hold her up as he held her against the wall. In this position he could feel his erection right at her opening, so in one push he entered her until they were pressed tight against each other.

She gasped as she felt his full length inside her so suddenly. She always liked having some control during sex, but to be honest, the way he took over completely like this was a big turn-on.

He forcefully grabbed her hips, and she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, holding onto him as he started to thrust in and out of her, slamming her back against the wall. He leaned in to kiss her, but they were both breathing so heavy that connection could not be made. Coming just short of her lips, their eyes met, and they both grinned with satisfaction. He leaned forward a little to nibble on her ear. Then his mouth traveled to her neck, where he bit into her skin, but not nearly hard enough to draw blood. She had no idea this was a turn-on for her, until this very moment. Between his love bites on her neck and forceful thrusts, she was going to reach her climax quickly.

In their current position, Marcus couldn’t get deep enough inside her. He placed his hands under her ass and stopped fucking her for a moment, his cock still deep inside her. He looked into her eyes and kissed her passionately. ‘
Surely he isn’t going to stop,
’ she thought. In precise movements he had her legs unwrapped from his waist, and when her feet hit the floor, it forced his cock out of her. She felt the loss of him inside her and whimpered.

Feeling an overwhelming desire to be inside her again, in one swift move, Marcus spun her around and bent her over the couch. All she could think of was she never had a lover be so forceful, and she loved it.

Marcus hoped he wasn’t being too rough, but he couldn’t control himself. Looking down, her tight little ass set him off again. He ran his hand up and down her back, then latching onto her hips; he lined his cock back up with her pussy. With one forceful thrust, he slid all the way deep inside her. As he thrust in and out, he realized he wouldn’t last long. Taking one of his hands from her hip, he slid it around between her and the couch and began to play with her nipples.

When Marcus had filled her in one thrust, she gasped from the feel of him. Being taken this way was amazing. He was reaching spots she didn’t know existed in her limited sexual experience. She could feel her climax peaking, and when she felt him start to rub her clit, that was enough to send her over the edge screaming. “Marcus!”

He felt her pussy tighten around his cock when she climaxed. She shuddered around him and he was a goner. He thrust one… two… three more times and buried himself deep, releasing his seed inside her.

Feeling weak in the knees, he stood there for a moment, unmoving and remaining inside her. He started rubbing her back while they were trying to catch their breaths.

“That… was… amazing…” she said, panting.

“Definitely,” was all he managed to say; he was panting, too. He had never done anything so spontaneous with any of his past lovers, but none of them were near as amazing as Selene.

“I know we both really needed that,” she said, grinning at him.

“We sure did. Is this what it’s going to be like every time we have to spend a few hours apart?” He grinned back at her.

“That’s not such a bad thing. It’ll give us something to look forward to at the end of the day.”

“We might not make the drive home next time,” he joked.

“We’ll have to control ourselves. We’re not animals, you know,” she laughed.

He laughed in response to her witty line and kissed her.

If he wasn’t sure of it before, he was certain now; he was definitely falling in love with this amazing woman.

They both collected their clothes and started putting them on, so they could head back to Marcus’ apartment. He already wanted her again, and knowing this, he figured they were in for one long night as he closed the door to the guest apartment behind them.

When they stepped in the door of Marcus’ apartment, he began to kiss her, thinking of only one thing at the time. He was shocked when she pulled away and looked into his eyes with a look of worry. “What is it, baby?” he asked, concerned.

“I have something important to tell you. It has something to do with my job.”

“Okay, no problem. Go ahead.”

“Promise you won’t be angry with me?”

“I promise.” He smiled at her, thinking, ‘What in the world could she say to make me angry with her? I know she wouldn’t hook up with another man. I can tell that for sure, just from sensing her emotions. This was something different, which is good. At least my relationship with her probably isn’t in trouble.’

“The bank I work at, well, it’s not really a bank. Well, technically it is, but the bank is a front for something much more important.” She paused, not sure how to tell him this without making it seem like she was keeping a secret from him. She wasn’t even supposed to be telling anyone at all, but she knew she could trust him.

“Go on,” he said, grabbing her hand and giving it a squeeze, urging her to continue.

“A few of the bank’s higher up employees, including myself, are a part of a secret organization, much like Black Wolf Agency. But we have ties to the government. Our agency is called PAIA, which is short for Paranormal Activity Intelligence Agency. We can log into the police databases and look up basically anything we want. I haven’t been a part of the organization for very long, so they don’t let me in on a lot of the stuff that goes on, but I know on several occasions they have captured paranormal creatures, implanted them with tracking devices, and released them into the city to monitor their actions. Unlike Black Wolf Agency, they are not too concerned with cutting the paranormal crime rate, just monitoring it to see how they can benefit from it. Only just recently have we become involved in trying to stop someone...”

“The killer just caught,” said Marcus, reading her mind.

“Yes, and the only reason we have such an interest in him is because he has killed a couple members of my team, which probably means they think he will try to track down others and kill them as well.”

“So I take it you haven’t told them about Black Wolf Agency, or the fact that we have already caught the suspected killer.”

“No, I haven’t, but my boss brought me in the meeting room this morning and interrogated me. I had to tell him what happened to me. I told them that the man who attacked me was a werewolf and that he converted me. However, I mentioned nothing else, and I certainly would never tell them about you or Black Wolf Agency. I wouldn’t put you in danger like that.”

“Thank you, Selene. I hope the fact that they know about you being a werewolf doesn’t endanger you at all. I personally don’t like what you’ve told me about this agency you work for.”

“Me, either. When I joined, one of the higher up bosses told me I was joining a good cause and would help the city, but it seems my boss, Joshua Gates has turned it into something else.”

“You should report him.”

“And end up dead the next day in my apartment? I don’t think so, Marcus.”

“So, what do they want you to do about the killer?”

“Knowing that I’m a werewolf now, Mr. Gates has asked me to try to track him down and kill him.”

“Did you object?” asked Marcus, enraged with this Joshua Gates for wanting to put Selene in danger. Yeah, it was her job, but to track down an experienced murderer by herself? That’s cruel.

“Yes, I did, but he told me I’m the best chance they’ve got at catching the killer.”

“I see.” Before Marcus said anything else, he tried to think of a plan. After thinking it over, he suggested, “Okay, so here’s what we should do. Lay low. Tell him you’re working on what he asked you to do. There haven’t been any murders lately, so we’ve been lucky so far. But it hasn’t been that long yet. Apparently it hasn’t been long enough and PAIA thinks he must still be out there. So, we’ll lay low a bit longer and see if there are any more murders. If Sam proves to definitely be the killer we were looking for, then go to your boss and tell him you tracked him down and killed him. I’ll come up with some way you can prove that you completed the task he assigned you.”

“Sounds good to me.” She smiled. Not only was he okay with everything she had just told him, but he had helped her a great deal with it, too. He really was truly an understanding man, at least with her anyway. “Thanks for helping me, and for not being angry with me about all of this.”

“How could I be angry with you, sweetheart? I understand your situation. You gotta remember; I’ve been keeping a big secret from most of the people I know for almost my entire life. I haven’t even been able to tell my own mother. Just know that you can tell me anything. I trust you, and I want you to know you can trust me, too, with anything.”

Selene smiled and kissed him, grateful to have such a wonderful mate.

~ Chapter Ten ~

*Ten Days Later*

The city was still as quiet as ever, as far as paranormal activity, indicating that they had, indeed caught their killer.

Selene had returned to her normal life. Well, as normal as it could get. She avoided Mr. Gates at all costs, and when she did see him the one time the other day, she told him she was still working on it, and that the killer must have sensed her following him and is laying low until we lay off him for a while. He told her to stop following him for now and see if he begins to show his face again.

Things with Selene and Marcus had been going exceptionally well. They alternated apartments, staying at his one night, and hers the next. Neither of them had brought up the subject of moving in together just yet.

That Friday afternoon, when Selene got out of work, Marcus picked her up like normal and they headed back to
Black Wolf Agency
.

“We’ve decided to hold a meeting in about half an hour,” Marcus told her.

She looked at him curiously and asked, “What for?”

“We’ve got to decide what to do with Sam.”

“Well, you’ll hand him over to the cops, probably right?”

“No, certainly not.”

“What other options are there, then? He can’t stay at the agency forever.”

“No, he can’t. I’m still pretty new, so I don’t know what they’ve done in the past in situations like this. In fact, I don’t think there’s ever been a situation like this. Werewolves have stayed pretty hidden until this one decided to murder a bunch of people. Yvonne told me she had never seen one in person until Kate, James, and Lucius revealed to her that they are werewolves. However, Yvonne and my father have told me stories about problems with other non-humans they encountered in the past, all of which had ended very badly for their target.”

“You mean they killed the creatures?”

“Yes.”

“So, they’re probably gonna want to execute Sam then, huh?”

“Probably so,” he answered, and when he saw she was about to argue, he added, “But let’s wait and see what they say before we talk about it anymore.”

“Alright.” She thought for a moment about what he had just told her and then remembered their conversation about a week ago. “So, do you think it would be okay to bring up the topic of opening another agency location upstate?”

“Sure, but wait until after we’ve definitely come to a decision about what to do with Sam.”

“Sounds good.”

When Marcus and Selene returned to the agency, almost everyone was already gathered at the meeting table. Shortly after they sat down and made themselves comfortable, Yvonne and Lucius arrived and took their seats.

“So, the first and most important topic of discussion: What do we do with Sam?” said Charlie.

“Well, apparently he’s the killer we were looking for,” said Lin, casually. “We execute him.”

Selene glared at the woman. For some reason, every time she saw Lin, she seemed distant and cold-hearted. Yes, it was apparent Sam was the killer, but should they really
kill
him? What gave them the right to do that? He was a person, too. Selene decided not to say anything; she technically wasn’t part of the team, not yet anyway. She didn’t have a say in this.

“Well, that may be going a bit overboard,” said Marcus, disagreeing with Lin. He was technically agreeing with Selene, however. He could tell she felt that killing him was the wrong thing to do. And since he was a cop for so many years, he knew from experience that a lot of the people who seemed guilty ended up being innocent in the long run.

“No, it’s not,” said Lucius. “This man has violated several rules in the werewolf pact, all of which are punishable by death.”

“Well, that decides it now, doesn’t it?” said Lin.

“If it were up to us,” said Damian, speaking for both he and his brother, “we would execute him. Other than him being a hazard, there is no use keeping him around.”

“I guess we should put it to a vote then?” asked Charlie.

“That sounds reasonable,” replied Marcus.

“All in favor of executing Sam on Monday, raise your hand.”

One by one, the majority of the agency raised their hands. The only ones who didn’t vote for the execution were Marcus and Selene.

“All in favor of handling the situation another way,” said Charlie. Marcus and Selene then raised their hands.

“Um, excuse me, but how is it that Selene gets to vote. She’s not a member of this team. She doesn’t even belong here,” said Lin.

Selene glared at the irritable woman, got up, and walked away into the other room.

“Thanks a lot, Lin,” said Marcus, sarcastically. “We’re supposed to be making her feel welcomed here.”

“Yeah, and if I remember correctly, no one made you feel left out when you were new here,” said Yvonne.

“She’s not a member of the team! Why should she have any say?” Lin argued.

“Excuse me for a moment,” said Marcus, shooting one last angry glance Lin’s way before he followed after Selene. When he found her, she was in the guest room, facing away from him. From the way it sounded, she was crying. “Aww, Selene, honey, don’t cry.”

“Why shouldn’t I be upset, Marcus. In the last two weeks, my life has been completely turned upside down. And now, the only people I seem to have anything in common with see me as an outcast.”

“Just ignore Lin. She’s going through a difficult time in her life,” he said, walking up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist, kissing her neck softly.

She closed her eyes for a moment to enjoy the comforting feeling of being in his embrace. “She shouldn’t take it out on me.”

“I know, but I guess that’s just her way of handling things. Maybe, after the meeting, you should try talking to her. See if you can help.”

“You’re right; maybe I should try that.” She turned around to face him. He wiped her tears away and she gazed into his eyes, smiling.

“Now, let’s go back out to that meeting and bring up that wonderful idea you had.”

“Sounds good, baby.”

With his arm wrapped around her, they went back out to the meeting and took a seat again.

“Is everything alright?” asked Yvonne, concerned.

“Yes, everything’s fine,” answered Selene, smiling.

“Now that we have settled that last topic, I wanted to bring up an idea for discussion,” said Marcus. “Selene and I were thinking, maybe it would be a good idea to open another location for the agency upstate, in the country.”

“Wait, wait, are you saying what I think you’re saying?” asked Yvonne.

“Yes, and I think it would be a good idea. Being a werewolf myself, I understand the importance of having plenty of space to run around and live on our wild side from time to time. Besides, there have been several reports of strange occurrences that have gone unsolved; stuff we know about and can handle.”

“How do you know this?” asked James.

“I did some research, mainly by reading local upstate newspapers online. Some of the people on the social media websites are reporting strange happenings, especially at night.”

“This is a crazy idea, Marcus,” started Charlie, pausing for a moment to think it through, “but I think you may be on to something here.”

“I kind of like the idea, too,” added James.

“Yes, I agree, and our children will have plenty of room to run around and be themselves,” said Kate, smiling.

“Children?” asked James, alarmed.

“Yes, Yvonne did an ultrasound earlier to see how the baby was doing, and there were two heartbeats. Both babies appear to be healthy and are growing at a normal, human rate.”

“Oh, my, God! That’s excellent news, sweetheart!” he said, hugging and kissing her.

“Congratulations!” said Selene. She was excited for the happy couple, but a little envious. She hoped that one day she would be able to settle down and have children, too. Luckily, she felt she was getting closer to the ‘settling down’ part. Then she reminded herself, ‘
Whoa, settle down there, girl! You’ve only known him for about two weeks! Don’t rush into marriage yet.

“Thank you, Selene,” said Kate, smiling.

“So, all in favor of opening an upstate location for
Black Wolf Agency
, raise your hand,” said Charlie. Everyone raised their hand. “Wow, it’s unanimous. Now, we all have to decide whether we’re staying in New York City, or moving upstate.”

“We’re moving, of course,” said James.

Tyrone, Lana, Angelina, and Rocco all huddled up and whispered amongst themselves for a moment. Then Lana announced, “We’re all staying here. We all have family here. We can’t abandon them.”

Damian and Devon whispered to each other for a moment and came to a decision as well. “We’d like to move upstate,” said Devon.

“Yeah, Central Park is the only place we really get to run, and we have to be really careful there,” said Damian. “Besides we know that like the back of our hand. It’s time for some change.”

“I’m staying here,” Lin announced. “My entire family is here.”

“I’ll go wherever you go, sweetheart,” Lucius said to Yvonne.

Yvonne knew in her heart that Lucius wanted to leave the city and be free. It was kind of him to leave it up to her, but she wanted to make him happy. “We’re moving upstate also.” A kiss on the cheek from Lucius let her know she had made the right decision. She knew they’d both be happier once they were out of the city.

“As for me, since I’ll be retiring soon, I’ll stay in the city for now, but eventually Mary and I would like to move to Florida and live out our days,” explained Charlie. Then he turned to Marcus and asked, “What about you, Marcus? Have you decided what to do yet?”

“I’ll have to talk it over with Selene and see what she wants to do. I may stay in the city for a while and eventually move upstate. Can I give you an answer soon?”

“Sure, that’s fine. Take your time with deciding whether or not you’re going to move. What I’m curious about at the moment is if you’re definitely leaving the NYPD to join us fulltime.”

Marcus thought about it for a moment. He enjoyed his time as a cop, but he felt those days were behind him. He needed to help his father, and most importantly, he needed to protect people from the more powerful, non-human creatures out there. “Yes, I’ll put in my resignation Monday morning.”

“Good, thank you, son. The agency needs someone like you.”

“Thanks, father.”

Once the meeting had ended, everyone went home, except Marcus and Selene. She had delayed leaving for several minutes and finally, she came out and said what was on her mind, “I want to talk to him.”

“You mean Sam? I don’t want him anywhere near you, whether he’s in a cell or not.”

“They’re going to execute him, Marcus. I need to speak with him.”

What she was saying made perfect sense. No matter how bad a person he is, he deserves to say a few words before his life ends on Monday. And, really, he was in a cell. He couldn’t harm Selene, no matter how hard he tried. “Okay, but don’t go within an arm’s reach of the cell. I don’t want him to be able to even touch you.”
