“Feels
good,” he moaned.

I
leaned forward and started kissing his neck while he snaked a hand between us
and began to slowly play with my clit.  I pushed forward wanting more but he
continued to tease me.

“Please,”
I whined.

“Please
what, Bella?”

“More,”
I whimpered letting him go and trying to rub against him for friction.

He
gripped my hips stopping me.  I watched as he grabbed the condom I hadn’t
noticed off the couch cushion beside us and opened it with his teeth while
watching me.  He reached between our bodies again brushing his knuckle across
my clit and I jerked.  I pushed myself up on my knees so I was kneeling above
him.  Once he had the condom on, I moved his hand taking hold of him myself and
let my body weight push him inside of me.

“Fuck,”
he moaned at the same time I moaned his name.

Once
I was fully seated I didn’t wait this time, I just pushed back up until just
the tip as inside me and slammed down hard.

He
gasped out, “Is that how you want it?”

“Yes,”
I whimpered.

“K,
hold on to the back of the couch, Bella.”  I did as he said and he gripped my
hips hard and pushed me up then pulled me back down hard at the same time as he
thrust up.

“Oh
god,” I mumbled.

He
pushed me up slowly then slammed me down hard again.  Over and over he did
this, but it still wasn’t quite enough.  I took one of his hands from my hips
and guided it to where I wanted and then took over rising and falling over him
at a faster and harder pace.

“Oh
fuck, that’s hot,” he mumbled looking down at where we joined.  I followed his
eyes and watched as he left and entered my body repeatedly.

I
started to feel that tingling spread from my clit outwards, and I moaned
loudly.  “So close,” I mumbled.

“Ah
fuck,” he grunted thrusting up into me hard almost knocking me sideways.  I
screamed when it hit me, my body tightened around him making him feel even
larger.  He groaned a second later, pulling me down on him once again then
holding me there as I fluttered around him.

Once
our breathing was more controlled, I raised my body letting him slip free.  The
feeling of him leaving my body through sensitive nerve rich flesh caused me to
moan again.  I rolled over to the side letting him take care of the condom, as
my heart rate slowed.

He
scooped me up from the couch and carried me to his bedroom, tucking me into his
bed, then climbed in on the other side pulling me into his body.  He curled
around me, snuggling his face into my neck, pressing kisses onto it.

“Sleep,
Bella,” he murmured, and that’s what I did.  I fell asleep feeling safe and
loved.

Chapter
39

I
woke up with a warm body curled around me.  I froze for a moment then
remembered where I was.  I looked over at the alarm clock and sat up straight.
I turned and pushed Thayne’s shoulder, he grunted in return.  Jumping out of
the bed, I began searching for my clothes then remembered they were in the
living room.

“Thayne,
we’re late, get your ass up,” I shouted as I ran into the living room and
started looking around for my clothes.  I found my jeans and tank top easy
enough though my bra and panties were another story.  I looked around trying to
figure out where they ended up when the front door opened and Nikki walked in,
I shrieked and tried to shield myself with my jeans and tank.

“What
the?” Nikki yelled and looked up and saw me and started laughing.

“Shut
the door,” I bellowed.

She
slammed it shut still laughing at me, “Uhm missing something?” she asked
holding my bra up.  I held out my arm for it and she tossed it towards me.  I
glanced around again for my panties.

“Ah
fuck it,” I muttered and walked quickly backwards towards the bathroom.  “Go
wake up your brother,” I told her then remembered he was naked, she was about
to walk in the room when I shouted, “No!”

“What
the hell, Scout?” she asked, grasping her chest.  “You scared me.”

“Sorry,”
I said grabbing the door handle of the bathroom about to close it, “he’s naked.”

“Eww,”
she screeched and turned quickly.

I
giggled and shut the door to the bathroom getting dressed quickly, sans
panties.  When I came out Nikki was sitting on the couch watching Thayne run
around the apartment trying to get ready to go.  I sat down beside her and
looked around for my socks and shoes.  She pointed and I saw one of each.  I
got up and grabbed them then looked around for the others, which I found on the
opposite side of the room.  I sat back down and pulled them on.  I knew I was forgetting
something though, I looked around trying to figure out what it was.

“Meds,”
Thayne said tossing the unopened bags from the pharmacy at me.  I ripped them
open and pulled out the bottles, I got what I needed and put the lids back.
“Water?”

“Here,”
he called out tossing me a bottle.  I quickly took my meds jumped up ran to
Thayne kissed him bye and ran out the door.

I
showed up at the garage with five minutes before call time and let out a breath
then headed for the coffee pot.  I quickly guzzled down my coffee and headed to
the staging area where my team was waiting.

“Sorry,”
I muttered when Simon glared at me, Liam just snickered and handed me a hair
tie.

“Thanks.”

“Mmhmm,”
he said trying not to laugh.

“That
bad?”

“Uh
huh, you have sex hair, Harper Lee.”

“Shut
up, Li.”  Which finally set him off, I ignored him laughing at me and watched
as Thayne walked into the room and went to his team.  Why was it so easy for
guys?  I looked like hell and he just meanders into the room looking perfect.

I
pulled my hair up into a makeshift bun then faced forward and waited for Eddie
to come out and tell us we could go and paint.  I was thrumming with
anticipation.

Once
we had our times, I headed back to our stall ready to work.  I got everything I
needed and went to work making sure the tank was ready to paint.  I was
finished quickly and headed towards the paint booth, happy we were given two
hours this time.  I walked to the paint booths and waited for the okay to go in
and get things together.  This time they were keeping a judge in the booth with
us the whole time, so I had to wait for him.

I
quickly put on the protective clothing and mask then mixed up my primary paint
color and had it loaded when the judge finally came in.  I looked up and found
Ace standing there smirking at me.

“What
are you doing here?” I bit out.

“I’m
your judge,” he said walking further in. “They called me in since one of the
others was sick and Eddie isn’t allowed to do this.”

“Fucking
perfect,” I murmured to myself then looked him in the eye and nodded, “Great,
let’s get started.”

I
turned on the air compressor and the clock started, with the noise of the air
compressor it made it impossible to hear one another, which I was extremely
grateful for right now.  I slipped in my ear buds and went to work ignoring
that anyone else was in the room.  I laid down my primer then let it dry before
going back with my base coat of satin black, let it dry, and changed my gun to
a dull clear coat.  After the paint had dried, I covered in the clear coat and
turned everything off.

“You’re
finished?” he asked incredulously.

“Yep,”
I said stripping out of the coverings they made us wear and tossed them in the
trash.

“That’s
all you’re doing?”

I
shrugged and went to inspect the tank triple checking the paint job.

I
looked over and saw him shake his head at me then turn around and head for the
door.

I
was waiting for it to finish drying when the door opened again and I looked
over to see Thayne standing there.

“What’s
up?” I asked.

“Nothing,
saw the light off.”

I
nodded, “You can have the room soon.”

He
walked over looking at my tank and whistled, “Nice customization.”

“Thanks,”
I said smiling looking over Liam’s work.

“Though
the paint is a little, uhm, well boring.”

I
sighed, “I know, I wanted to keep it simple to show off the lines,” I lied.

“Okay,”
he said looking back at the tank with an arched eyebrow.

“So
Ace was here.”

He
nodded, “I saw him leave.”

“No,
as in he was in here, my judge.”

“Ah,
you okay?”

“Yep,
didn’t talk.”

He
nodded looking back at my tank, “Are you sure you don’t want to add, I don’t
know, something to it?”

I
shook my head, “Nah I’m done in here.”

“Okay,”
he said looking at me like I had lost my mind.

“So
I have what, forty-five minutes left in here?”

He
nodded, “About that.”

“Can’t
move it for another fifteen or so, whatever shall I do with the time?” I asked
batting my eyelashes at him.

“Hmm
I don’t know,” he said walking towards me, when he was in reach he slipped his
fingers through the loops of my jeans pulled me closer and kissed me.

The
opening of the door had us splitting apart quickly.  I looked over and saw Li
looking between us smirking.

“You
do realize there are cameras in here, right?”

“Ah
fuck, I forgot,” Thayne groaned.

I
glanced up where the camera was situated in the corner of the ceiling and
flipped it off.

“What’d
ya need, Li?”

“Just
coming to check on you, Harper Lee.”

“Uh
huh,” I said looking at him, “don’t believe you.”

“Wanted
to make sure you remembered about the cameras,” he said smiling widely.  “Glad
I did or we would have had a Scout sex tape.”

I
sighed, “Thanks.”

“Almost
done?”

“Yeah,
want to help me get this back to our bay?”

“Sure,
Harper Lee” he said walking over and gently picking up the tank.

“Why
not just put in the dry room so it doesn’t get messed up?”

I
shrugged, “Because we want it in our bay.”

“Okay,
if you say so.”

“I
do,” I told him.  “Talk to you later?”

“Yeah,
what are you doing after?”

“Talking
to Saul.”

“Mmkay,
call me after?”

“Sure,
see ya,” I told him and walked out the door.

“Alright
Harper Lee, you have two hours and forty-five minutes to get it finished.”

I
nodded, “K, let’s do this.”

“He
doesn’t know, does he?”

“Thayne?”

“Yeah,
Thayne.”

“Nope.”

He
laughed, “This should be interesting.”

“What?”

“Watching
you two compete.”

I
shrugged, “Haven’t thought about it, really.”

We
walked into the bay, I found everything I needed already out and set up.  I
leaned up and kissed Li on the cheek.  “Thanks,” I told him.

“Hey
I helped,” whined Kale, he leaned down so I could kiss him on the cheek also.

“Okay
boys, let’s finish this.”

I
stood up thirty seconds before the bell went off, bones popped and muscles
stretched as I looked over at the others.

“So?”

“Damn,
Harper Lee,” Liam said circling the tank.

“It’s
beautiful, Scout,” Kale said.

Simon
nodded, “Well done.”

I
smiled at them then pushed them out of the stall.  They had already cleaned the
place up so we could get out and lock up as soon as I was finished.

“So
what are you up to tonight, Harper Lee?” Liam asked swinging an arm over my
shoulder.

“Going
to go see Saul.”

“And
after that?”

“Not
sure, since Thayne has an added two hours after his stall time, I may be on my
own for a while.”

“Come
over for dinner?”

“I
don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“Why
not?”

“I
don’t feel like fighting.”

He
sighed, “He misses you, you know.”

“He
hasn’t called, and I am not giving in this time.”

“Leave
her alone, Liam,” Simon said.  “She’s doing what she needs to.”

He
nodded and hugged me, “See you tomorrow when we win this thing.”

“Yeah,”
I said smiling and hugged Simon and Kale by then headed to meet Saul.

I
walked out into the parking lot and found Saul leaning against Cas’s truck
talking to Matt.  I walked up and leaned against the truck beside them.

“So,
what are you two doing out here?”

“Waiting
on you, Girl.”

“Seraph,
how are you?”

“Good
Matt, and you?”

“Good,
looking forward to beating you tomorrow.”

I
laughed, “Yeah, good luck with that”

He
smirked, “I know you’re up to something.  There is no way in hell you only
painted that tank black.”

I
shrugged, “News travels fast around here.”

“You
know gossip around shops.”

I
nodded, “That I do.”

“So
what were you doing locked away in that bay?”

“Napping,”
I told him smiling and looked over at Saul, “You ready?”

“Yeah,
let’s go, Girl.”

We
walked around the truck and I climbed into the passenger side.  “So where are
we going?”

“For
a drive.”

“Okay.”

I
sat there quietly waiting for him to start.  I knew he would start when he was
ready and nothing I did or said would hurry him along.  I had enough experience
with him to know that much.

“Girl,”
he started after driving for a while, “I’m sorry we never told you the truth,
and I understand if you’re mad about it, but we thought we were doing right at
the time.”

“I
know, Matt told me.”

“Yeah,
we talked about it, and I understand why you are pissed at your brothers.”

“It’s
not just about them keeping this from me, it’s everything they kept from me.”

“I
get that, probably better than they do.  I didn’t realize the amount of things
they were keeping from you until the other night, or how your brother felt.”

I
looked out the window.  “I think we both said things that have been building
for years now, and everything just finally erupted.”

“Yeah,
but now you need to talk to him, you need to forgive them both.”

“I
do forgive them for the lying and the hiding things from me.  I can’t trust
them, but I forgive them.  I don’t know if I can forgive Cas though, not for
some of the things he said.”

“Yeah,
you can, and you will after you talk.  It’s not in you to hold a grudge against
Cas, others yeah you can hold a grudge with the best of them, but not Cas or
Simon.”

“It
just hurts that he thinks that I just let this happen, like he doesn’t know
me.”

“I
think it’s more that he let it happen, he doesn’t believe it was your fault, he
believes it’s his fault and he’s looking for someone to help with that blame.”

“Why
not pick Ace or
him
to blame, why me?”
