In his mind he was furious
and the woman would pay for her crimes against him, only he’d no
way to make her pay
as the dark energy
that had always been there
was gone. He
could feel absolutely nothing inside
of him,
except a
strange void of nothingness.

Kaine though who was
still sitting on
the tarmac with his back against the cliff face
journeying into a dark place in his mind,
hadn’t reacted when Satan had appeared at all. Since loosing
his love his whole world had been completely shattered, and for now
as tears streamed down his face, he couldn’t care what happened to
him and felt utterly
defeated.

Then and
after
sensing
that
the immediate danger from Satan was over,
and in response to his cellmate
‘the third vampire’ suffering tormentous sadness beside him,
Bonyious let go of his father’s hand and knelt
down putting his arms around the big guy to give him a cuddle.
Only
sadly
the gesture of
kindness
from the young Bavarian
did
nothing to placate Kaine’s bitter feelings. Then
and
as Dracus’ mother
had
reached him,
she’d smiled and knelt down
in front of him
placing
her pale blue
hand up underneath his chin,
and gently raised his tearful gaze
up
into her eyes.
The woman spoke softly to Kaine and said to him that she aware that
her son had risked his life to save him and his gorgeous wife, and
that afterwards she’d also known that they’d risked their lives to
save Dracus too. Then she said that she’d watched him go to the
shack in the Carpathian Mountains where his wife had been killed,
and that afterwards Satan had locked her soul in a fiery room in
HELL. Only as soon as Kaine had heard her words
and as if a dam had
broken,
suddenly more tears streamed down
his cheeks. The woman said to Kaine to calm himself awhile because
Regina was not in HELL anymore, and
then
with her
glowing fingers she’d reached forwards and gently placed them
against his cheek.

In Kaine’s whole being
since Regina had died so savagely in front of him there’d been just
the bitter emptiness, and as every minute had passed since it
happened, the emptiness had been grown in it’s intensity,
completely masking out everything that was going on around him.
Kaine’s thoughts were brimming over with the most extreme levels of
grief and sadness, whilst sucking him down into a dark place where
he could never return. Only as the lady
there
kneeling before him had told him that Regina wasn’t in hell
anymore, and with the softness of her words, the slightest spark of
hope that he’d see Regina again had reignited inside of him. Kaine
immediately sat forwards and keenly listened as the lady spoke to
him. Dracus’ mother explained to him that she was just in the
spirit form and that most of her, and her husband king Rasviulk’s
powers had been taken away from them by a dark lord in Eldor. She’d
said that over the hundreds of years that she and her husband had
been incarcerated in a prison in another dimension, they’d amassed
enough energy from around them to visit their son just once, hoping
to guide him to freeing them and saving the people of Eldor. Only
as they’d both been preparing to visit him they’d become aware of
the strong bond
that
their son
had
felt towards Kaine and his wife Regina, and when she’d been
killed in the shack they’d known they’d the powers to reverse it.
Only they’
d
also known that
if they did save her then
most of
their energy would be used up by the one action, and that it would
mean one of them wouldn’t be able to make the journey to see
Dracus. She’d also told him that king Rasviulk had been very eager
to see his son today, but felt that it was of the utmost importance
to ensure that Regina was alive, and
that
he was very
willing to sacrifice his chance to see his son if it meant that
Regina
would
be saved
.

Then
and as she’d just finished
telling Kaine about king Rasviulk,
the
lady
in
pale blue
looked down and noticed that
her color
was beginning to fade
beneath
her
, and
then
in response
she’d said that she had to be quick
as the
powers that had brought her there were running out.

A moment passed and then
she’d looked out onto the tarmac for the briefest of seconds,
before
turning back around and then
smiling into Kaine

s
eye’
s
and saying,

“Your wife is over there my darling, look
after her because she loves you very much.”

Kaine instantly looked out
into the mile square tarmac and could see nothing. Then as he’d
frantically looked from left to right scanning everywhere,
and
even the deepest shadows over by the tree line,
suddenly a huge fireball had burst up in front of Satan that
engulfed him too.

The flame was glorious blue
taking up four meters of the tarmac with the edges fading into pale
blue, and completely blocking out every ones view of the prince of
ugliness that was still paralyzed behind it. Then stepping out
from
the
centre
of it but in a much faster way than
the lady had from hers, Regina
suddenly
appeared
looking like she was in deep shock. A second past
and
then
as both of her
feet
had
touched the tarmac beneath
her; suddenly
the biggest smile encroached upon her beautiful
face.

For Regina and
only moments before she’d been in her cell next to Raffious
screaming in agony whilst enduring the most tormentous pain and
suffering; held there for an eternity in her fiery chains. Only
through the ardent flames that had masked her vision ever since
she’d tried escaping through the air vent and her body had
vaporized, she’d seen a blue light appear and as it had grown in
its intensity, the cell in front of her was washed in its magical
glow. Then as it had faded and as she’d seen the tarmac beneath
her, she’d realised that the pain had vanished from within and her
old body had come back to her, blessing her again with her former
abilities to touch and feel.

When Kaine
had seen
her standing there
and in mid run to be reunited with
her,
a huge
smile had appeared across his face that had threatened by its very
size to make
the Cheshire cats grin from
Alice in wonderland look somewhat pathetic in comparison.
Only when Regina had truly got her
bearings
back
and
then
fully
realized
where she was, and also saw her loving husband
almost tripping over his crazed
rush towards her
, she’d had the same
massive smile blast across her face as if they’d bought his and
hers versions from the local massive smile shop.
The two of them
full of the most powerful loving energy and like two bolts of
lightening, then leapt into each others arms and instantly fused
into each others loving embrace.

Only an hour before
though
the tarmac had stunk of death
,
but
now as their friends with their own
tearful
emotions
coursing through the
m watched on
, the smell had
mysteriously vanished and was replaced by the intense and palpable
feeling of love.
Kaine was running his
hands through Regina’
s
hair and sliding them
around her thin neck as he’d driven his whole being tight into her,
and with her arms around him she’d pulled herself tight into him
too. Then as the seconds went by he’d slipped his icy fingers under
her top and slid them down her back towards her waist, and with one
finger he’d slowly ran circles around the base of her spine,
reversing the circle and do
ing
figure of eights too.
Then as she’d felt it and with the immense happiness of
being
in
his
loving
arms
again, coupled by the passionate memories of their past lives
together, suddenly the emotions within came flooding
out of her
like a huge
river,
and she’d burst
into tears. She’d loved him so much and he’d loved her equally
too.
Then as they’d stood there only forty
feet away
from the hangers demolished entrance under the rapidly
blinking eyes of the eagles and their young, whilst
burrowed into each other’s frames, Regina’s hands
slid up the inside
of
Kaine’s back and by their deep
and passionate embrace and
because of
the loving
energy that was clearly flowing between them, the very nature of it
had threatened to consume them. Regina kept craning her head back
and with tears streaming down her cheeks whilst looking up at him,
she could hardly believe that
he
was real.
A moment had past
and t
hen after he’d wiped her tears away
and before another river
equaling that of the Amazon had
appeared in her tear ducts, he’d kissed her cold
wet cheeks
and told her a
thousand times just
how much he’d loved her.

Laouse was utterly blown
away seeing her alive again
,
and as his emotions had
taken hold of him
and he was fighting to hold back the
tears
, he was
also
speechless to say the million thank you’s that he’d wanted to
tell the lady in blue.
Then as
Dracus’
mother
had turned around with the most
radiant smile to look at her son, she’d also held her hand
up
behind
her
towards Satan
,
and the
horned idiot then
began to slowly
slip down through
the tarmac on his long journey back into HELL.

Chapter 40 – Save
Us

Now with Kaine and Regina
completely up in the clouds in terms of their
emotions
,
and Laouse pointing up at the eagles nest telling everyone how he’d
seen Dracus perform a miracle earlier,
queen Siarui
addressed her
son.

She’d told him that she’d
loved him very much and that she was aware of his
plan
s
to lure Satan back to Eldor, hoping
to use his magical
portal to send him and Vrakug up to the murderously oppressive sun,
but he mustn’t because his plan would fail.

Dracus
was shocked that she’d known
his plan and then as he was just about to open his mouth to ask her
how she’d known, he’d thought that maybe it was better that he’d
didn’t, so said nothing and kept schtoom.

Queen
Siarui had told him in her soft and magical voice, “Dracus from
here on you will never be plagued by that horned idiot again. You
were already powerful from birth because our Goddess Lianor had
made it so. When she’d gifted us with these powers, she’d made it
that our children are always more powerful than us. You need to
find your magic’s core within you and once you do, you must command
it to be able to unleash its full potential. Also as you know from
our message on the cave wall, when you were a child we’d bestowed
all of our own powers into you. These powers coupled with your own,
will make you invincible. Together their unity if you learn to
harness their power and weald it masterfully, you will be so strong
a sorcerer, that even Vrakug will loose when he battles
you.“

Dracus
was confused though because so far he’d learnt a handful of spells
from her books that he’d taken from her study, and knew a few
others spells too like how to create a strange looking beast or
make something vanish. He’d felt sure though that if he’d used
them, they definitely wouldn’t be powerful enough to defeat Vrakug
with.

Queen
Siarui had seen her son’s facial expressions suggesting that he was
unsure of her words, and then continued by telling him. “When we
gave you our powers, we’d locked them as we’d felt strongly that we
couldn’t chance that one day Vrakug might find you. When we’d sent
you away with your nanny past the witches cave to stop his spells
from following, we’d known that it wasn’t enough. We knew from the
powers we’d seen him using against us that he would be able to
create vicious beasts loyal to him, and then make those beasts
search for you, so we’d locked our magic in you just incase you
were ever found, preventing him from taking them. I am the only one
with the key to unlocking them and until I was sure that you would
use them properly for the good of Eldor, and that you had also
become of a manly age to be able to control them, they would be
kept away from you. Once unlocked my son and with them, if they
feel you are truly the right one to bare them and they lock in with
your inner psyche, they will help you to use the ones that you were
born with to their fullest potential too. You will become a master
sorcerer and unstoppable unless you attempt to carry out an evil
act, and then they will vanish and never return.”
