granddaughter
number

shame

can’t

come
too
but

understand
she
wants

spend

Christmas

know
she
wants

get

know
her
“other”
grandparents

met
a
girl,

spending

parents

she’s

ress

the
same
hotel
as
him
or
something
but
I’m
not
too
sure.

good
at
giving
information
out
about
his
life.

dad

he’s
tucked
up

bed

nasty
flu.

only

it
the
day

left

you’re
lucky

missed
out

He’s
been

tired
since
he
returned
from
the
trip.
We’re
both
in
our
sixties

fast

know.

he
keeps

calling

Honestly
you
would
think
he
was
on

deathbed
by
the
way

he’s
acting
even
though
it’s
nothing
more

case

sniffles.
