“Oh yeah, that
is
that mafucka! Oh you really betta bust that nigga ass now for real this time Mann ‘cause he trippin like a broken achilles!” Jay joked seriously as we listened to him rap, and could you believe that nigga actually had the nerve to be spittin’ the same shit I wrote! Again! “Oh hell no, I’m bout to see about this nigga!” I snapped as I started walking out towards the stage. Jay grabbed me and held me back.
“Calm down Mann we gonna get at him, let him have his moment right now.” Jay said as he held me tightly. “Yo Jay listen! That’s
my
shit!
I
wrote that shit!” I yelled as I tried to pass by him. Jay held onto me. “Hold up Mann, Yo hold up! Now our peoples out there already know that that’s your shit! But now it’s up to you to let
that
nigga know not to try
this
shit no mafuckin’ more, you feelin me!? It’s showtime right!?” He said harshly as he held me back.
I calmed down and took a deep breath. “That’s right nigga breath control, focus on your rhymes. He almost finished anyway, o’ bitin ass nigga.” Jay said sternly as he looked on. The crowd cheered as that nigga Jakal, slash Gameface or whatever the fuck his name is held the microphone high in the air. “Iight get ready.” Jay said as he signaled the D.J.
“Iiight, iight hold up, hold up!”
The D.J. announced over the club.
“Hey yo, this shit ain’t over yet! Hey yall,
yo I got somebody up in here that’s makin’ some serious accusations up in this mafucka tonight! Now it seems that my man Gameface here is being accused of bitin’ somebody else shit! As a matter of fact, I got the man that’s makin’ these accusations up in here right now! Yo Jay, you got somethin’ to say about this shit!”
The D.J. yelled into the microphone.
Suddenly Jay pulled two microphones out of his pockets. “Iight let’s set it off then, yo wait here ‘till I call you out.” He said as he handed me one of the mics and headed out on the stage towards Gameface.
“Yo hold up a minute! We got us a lil’, mafuckin’ problem tonite up in this mafucka!”
Jay screamed as he walked out onto the stage and approached Gameface. The crowd quieted down as he spoke into the microphone.
“Hey yall, this nigga right here, he was mad dope tonight just now right? Let’e give him a hand, come on yall let me get a round of applause for my man right here!”
Jay commanded loudly into the mic. I heard a few people clap, but I’m guessing that most of them were probably wondering what the fuck is goin’ on
.
I though as I listened to my cousin Jay defending my mafuckin honor.
“Yeah me too, i liked it too yall that’s treal, but I’m not up here talkin’ on this mic like im about to rap, cause I ain’t no rapper, and this nigga ain’t either because that shit he just now spit. He bit that shit off of my cousin yall, that shit y’all just heard was my cousin Mann…aka Da Mann shit, but yo.”
Jay was almost interrupted by some reactions from the crowd, but he got things in order real quick. The crowd got quiet as Jay continued.
but yo yall we gonna straighten this shit out right now, here tonight! And yo dawg I know you got your crew up in here with you nameen!? But we gonna keep this shit fair and peaceful on some violent free tonight, feel me?! And that goes for all MY niggas too! We jusssayin.. Let’s Chill like that group Guy used to say feel me! Where my niggas at!?”
Jay yelled as he looked back at me. I heard a big cheer from the crowd that formed around the stage.
“Da fuck you talkin’ bout dog!? I don’t know your man son!”
Gameface screamed into his mic. “Yo that ain’t your man shit!” I heard someone yell from the crowd. A few other voices also opposed the accusations. I took a closer look to see who they were. I had a feeling I knew who it was too, and I was so right. It was Big Ox, Jamar, and a few other niggas that lived in the Greenville area. They called themselves the Posse or CWP because they were mostly from Curries Woodz Projects. A bunch of drug dealers that liked to start trouble. I thought to myself as Jay addressed the crowd.
“Oh, so yall niggas gonna put yall neck on the line for this nigga! Yall sayin’ my cousin lying!? Iight then let’s see who’s the mafuckin’ imposter! Hey yo Mann, show this mafuc na, show
these
mafuckas why they call you Da Mannnnn!”
Jay screamed as he signaled me to come out. Here we go! I thought as I walked out on stage. The d.j. crashed a beat through the speakers as I strutted out towards Jay and my adversary who I’d taken out before. He stared hard at me as I approached him and Jay.
“Y’ll already know this my cousin Da Mann! Now he about to tell yall what the fuck happened with this clown ass duplicate nigga Gameface!”
Jay screamed as I lifted the microphone up to my mouth.
“What’s up yall!?”
I yelled as I signaled the d.j. to cut the music.
“Turn that mafuckinbeat off for a second I need about fifteen twenty seconds then we can get this shit on and rockin’!”
The music stopped
. “Iight, I see my Jersey niggas with me tonight, iight listen yall, cause I’m only gonna say this one time and one time only! This nigga right here who yall know as Gameface, I know his ass as The Jakal. I wiped the mall up with this nigga one day word is
bond! He told me that he was gonna come back! So I guess now he back with a new name and the same ol’ lame ass crew!
He bit this song that I wrote called Addicted to the Dividends, yall probably never heard me kick that shit before, until yall heard THIS nigga kick it on a mixed tape, and just now! I don’t know how he got it but...
Your bitch, that’s how he got it!” Somebody yelled from crowd.
“What!? Who the fuck was that!?”
I yelled back but no one answered. It sounded like that nigga Big Ox.
“No, you the bitch bitch!”
I answered back loudly as I got ready to spit.
“That’s iight, cause I’m about to put an end to all this bullshit right now, Yo D.J., bring that mafuckin beat back!”
I yelled as the beat smashed throughout the club.
“Iight, yall heard my man shit, I mean
MY
shit yall man was kickin right!? Well this shit right here is the remix!”
I yelled as my mind melted into the groove of the beat. The rhymes I wrote earlier instantly came into memory as I began my verbal assault on Gameface.

Suddenly Gameface tries to interrupt, but was cut off by Jay as the d.j. continued on with the beat. “Yo let my man finish! You gonna get your chance to rock!” Jay screamed into the microphone as I contunued.

I looked out into the crowd to see if they were feeling me and I heard some oooh’s and ahhh’s as I kicked my rhymes. I glanced over towards Gameface and then at Big Ox, Jamar and the rest of their crew as the music’s tempo thrusted me into my last verse as I turned and waved my hand across the whole room.

(I stepped in close (face to face) to Gameface and then addressed the crowd during my last chorus)
“I’m addicted to the dividends, u gotta be in it to win it if you get the chance betta get up in it---cause the— sky’s the limit—betta make that take that, or else, you won’t ever get it back!”
The crowd cheered for me as I stood and stared face to face at Gameface. He stared back at me, smirked and nodded his head. I turned towards the crowd again,
“That right y’all, that whackass shit you did homey, stealing my shit ain’t about nothing. I keeps a remix on standby dawg!”
I screamed into the mic over at him as the crowd cheered, giving me a few seconds to catch my breath. I looked over at Gameface to see what he had to say.
“What now nigga!”
Jay screamed. Gameface looked towards us and then at the crowd as they grew silent. “Bust that nigga ass Face! Show that nigga the truth son! Get at that nigga Face!” Big Ox and the rest of their crew yelled from the crowd.
“Iight iight! I’ma address this nigga right now right here once and for all! First of all, I wanna say, nigga, I didn’t bite your shit! I took it!”
Gameface admitted, smiling as the crowd responded with oohs, aahs, cheers and boos at his confession.
“That’s iight though, because I knew that that would call this, sorry rappin’ ass nigga out y’all!”
