“When I set you down before, I wanted to do
this. How’s your arm grá?”

“Fine, just get inside me Ian, please.”

He laughed as he took her face in his hands
and kissed her. She waited for him to surge into her but he just
kissed her slowly and thoroughly.

“I’ll give you what you need, but then you’ll
give me what I need.”

With that Ian pushed all the way into her in
one stroke. Kara arched her back and Ian finally pulled her nipple
into his mouth as he began a pounding rhythm. One of Ian’s hands
gripped the counter allowing him to increase the speed as he
drilled into her. His other hand alternated between tugging at her
nipple and smoothing his fingertips along her pubic bone. She
wrapped her legs around him and used her right arm to support
herself on the bathroom counter so she could meet his thrusts. She
could feel him pulsing inside her and she knew she was almost there
too.

She used her right arm and pushed against him
so hard, her bottom lifted from the counter. He was so deep inside
her, their pubic bones met with each thrust. Ian changed his grip
from the counter to her hips. He held her above the counter as his
rhythm increased even more. When it seemed he couldn’t push any
harder, any faster, he did. Her inner muscles squeezed him and she
could feel her arm begin to shake from her weight on it as she
pushed herself to meet each of his thrusts.

“Come on grá, come all over my cock.”

As he said the words, Ian circled his thumb
around her clit and she was afraid she was going to black out as
her body spasmed around him. His thrusts became short and hard as
he ground out his orgasm. He continued to pound into her and drew
out her orgasm until he’d sapped all her energy and her body
slumped into him. When the pulsating within her subsided, he
wrapped her legs around him and carried her to the bed. He lay her
down gently then crawled in beside her.

“You look ready to pass out. Do you still say
you were up for sex?”

“Are you complaining about the sex?”

“God no! I think I saw stars when I
came.”

“I made it through alive, so it must mean I’m
fine.”

“Speaking of alive Kara, we need to have a
little chat.”

She said “OK”, but her heart sank to her toes
as she remembered the look on Ian’s face in the warehouse as she
slid down the wall.

“You’re going to have to learn to do as your
told grá.”

“What?” That wasn’t what she expected.

“You heard me. I know you’re smart in many
ways, but sometimes you have to leave it to people with more
experience. So next time when I tell you to do something, you’ll do
it. I won’t have you putting yourself in danger again.”

“Ian, what are the chances we’ll ever be in
that situation again?”

“Kara what were the chances we’d ever be in
that situation to begin with? I’m telling you now that I won’t tell
you what to do very often. Ninety percent of the time, I’ll ask you
what you want, but when I tell you what to do, I expect you to do
it.”

“What do you mean 90% of the time?”

“I’m done pussy footing around waiting for
you. I’m done being jealous of Ronan because you’ll actually have a
conversation with him that’s not about work. I’m done having you
turn me down. I’m telling you that you’re mine and this is one of
those times I’m not going to let you disobey.”

“Disobey? Ian…wait, what do you mean I turned
you down? I never turned you down.”

“Like hell! When we first met I asked you out
at least a dozen times in a dozen ways.”

“You had a girlfriend when we met Ian.”

“What shit is that? I haven’t had a
girlfriend since before I met you!”

“Erin. Erin was your girlfriend, she told me
she was.”

“And you believed her?”

“Well why shouldn’t I believe her?”

“Because I was turning her down! Shit, are
you telling me you might have gone out with me three years
ago?”

“Probably.”

“Christ, if I could hit a women she would be
it. Well, your mine in the end anyway, so I won’t let it
matter.”

“What do you mean I’m yours?”

“Mine, mianach.”

“Does that mean yours to do with as you wish,
as in boss around?”

“Mine to love Kara. I’m not going to boss you
around on a regular basis, but when I tell you to stay put, next
time you will. I won’t have you getting hurt when I can prevent
it.”

Kara pouted, but she didn’t want to fight.
Ian wanted her and he’d wanted her for a while, so she could do as
he said if they ever got into a life threatening situation again.
What were the chances? Lightening didn’t strike twice in the same
place, right? Ian seemed to take her silence as agreement because
he pulled her into his arms.

“Now say Tá mé leatsa,” he demanded.

“Tá mé leatsa.”

“See, that wasn’t so bad now, was it?”
