Watercress, which contains chlorophyll, which is cleansing and hot, so it aids digestive function generally.

Alfalfa sprouts. These can help to cleanse the system and sweeten the breath.

AVOID

Sugar and refined carbohydrates. These cause tooth decay and encourage yeasts and unhelpful organisms in the gut.

HERBS AND SUPPLEMENTS

Liquid cholorophyll can help gut health and keep you regular. It comes in liquid or capsules, but I suggest the liquid for best results.

Chew parsley after meals to freshen the breath.

Take digestive enzymes with meals. These can help to improve breakdown of foods that would otherwise putrefy and cause bad odors.

Take acidophilus capsules morning and evening. These can help to reestablish the balance of good bacteria in the gut.

EXTRA TIPS

Visit your dentist and oral hygienist.

Brush your teeth at least three times a day. Also brush your tongue every morning.

Use a natural mouthwash. You can make your own by putting two to three drops of tea tree or myrrh oils in a small glass of water.

Make digestion easier by eating fruit alone, never for dessert. Try not to mix dense proteins such as chicken or fish with dense carbs such as potatoes or rice.

HANGOVER

That awful morning-after feeling where your mouth feels like sandpaper, your head is pounding, you are dehydrated, and feel as if you have been run over by
a double-decker bus. It is all a result of drinking too much alcohol.
