Dr. Brodie was involved in the original work with laetrile, and found it to be effective, so we continue to use it on all of our patients. Doctors have been taught that laetrile is ineffective for treating cancer, but there’s a lot of brainwashing that goes into doctors’ training. I went through that same training myself, but somehow, I ended up thinking that we were missing something.
Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT) comprises the fifth element of our treatment approach. This therapy is also based on Otto Warburg’s work, which was developed 100 years ago in Mexico, when
insulin first became understood in medical science. In IPT, we first drop our patients’ blood sugar levels with an intravenous dose of pharmaceutical grade insulin: the same type diabetics use, as we closely monitor their blood sugar levels. A low-normal blood sugar level is 65, but in IPT, we shoot for the mid 30s. It’s commonly said that cancer loves sugar. Well, it doesn’t love sugar; it requires it, more so than normal cells because of its anaerobic metabolism. In comparison to normal cells, cancer cells are like a car that gets fewer miles per gallon.
When the body’s blood sugar levels are extremely low, cancer cells start starving, so they open up their cell membranes in order to grab any sugar molecules that might be in the bloodstream. At that point, we give our patients an intravenous dose of sugar, along with multiple cancer-killing compounds (including chemo drugs at one-tenth of a full dose). These agents are mixed with the sugar in a syringe, so that when the mix goes into the patient, the cancer cells suck up both the sugar and the cancer-killing agents, at a much higher concentration than they would had the patient been given normal chemotherapy. Following the IPT treatments, we give our patients IV and oral sugars to bring their blood sugar levels back to normal again.
There are some negative perspectives about IPT on the Internet. People claim, for instance, that it’s dangerous to lower the body’s blood sugar levels. I want to say to them, “Oh really? Dangerous compared to what? Chemotherapy? Crossing the street? Well, only if you don’t know what you’re doing.” The majority of people who have put such reviews on the Internet have never received training in, or done, an IPT treatment. In our office, we have done over 7,500 IPT treatments since 2003, and we have never lost a single patient to this type of treatment. I challenge any conventional chemotherapy program in the country to be able to make that claim about its chemotherapy drugs.
The IPT approach uses standard chemotherapy drugs, at only one-tenth the dose of what would be used in a traditional chemotherapy regimen. When used in an IPT format, I’ve seen chemotherapy
drugs help many people, without them suffering the typical side effects of traditional chemotherapy. They don’t lose their hair, throw up, get diarrhea, and so forth. So it’s still much safer than regular chemotherapy. That said, while we sometimes use chemotherapy drugs for IPT, we prefer to use combinations of natural agents such as cesium, laetrile, mistletoe, and DMSO for the IPT IV.
The mistletoe extract that we use in the IVs comes from Germany (which is far ahead of the United States in its approaches to natural healing) and has a potent anti-cancer effect. (I previously discussed laetrile, which we give our patients both intravenously and orally). We also put DMSO in their IVs, which is a solvent that enhances the cancer cell’s absorption of these other cytotoxic compounds, thereby making them more effective.
Finally, every cancer patient that I have ever seen has a very acidic body, because tumors crank out acids. On an intracellular level, tumors don’t like alkaline environments. So we use cesium chloride as part of our cancer-killing treatment regimens, because it creates an alkaline environment in the body that’s toxic to cancer cells. Cesium chloride is one of the most alkalizing minerals found in nature.
The last component of our approach involves doing a MEAD analysis (MEAD stands for Meridian Energy Analysis Device). This device measures patients’ energy levels in all of their acupuncture meridians and then re-balances the energy in those meridians. Nearly 80 percent of all hospitals in China use the MEAD on all of their incoming patients.
After measuring patients’ energy levels with the MEAD, we do electro-acupuncture treatments to balance their energy, using electrodes and a TENS (transdermal electrical nerve stimulator) unit—rather than needles—to pump energy into the meridians that need electricity. The human body is comprised of energy, and these
treatments raise its voltage, which in turn increases its immune function and cancer-fighting ability.
Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation or Biophotonic Therapy
Ultraviolet blood treatment involves extracting the patient’s blood into a chamber and irradiating it so that the bacteria and viruses within it get altered or destroyed. The blood is then put back into the patient’s body, and as a result, a vaccination-like effect is created in the body against these organisms. The freshly irradiated blood also provokes an immune system reaction that destroys most or all of the other pathological bacteria and viruses in the body.
The treatment functions by stimulating the red blood cells to emit a kind of light called biophotons. Biophotons destroy viruses, bacteria, and (in autoimmune diseases) activated white blood cells. In autoimmune disorders, it appears that metabolically active T-cells and other immune cells absorb much greater numbers of biophotons than ordinary immune and other types of cells. This has the effect of destroying them and slowing or stopping the autoimmune problem, because it is hyper-metabolic, or over-active T-cells, that cause autoimmune disorders.
The practice of ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) therapy began in the 1920s (in the United States), when a UBI device was developed for extracorporeal (outside the body) treatment of the blood. By the 1940s, UBI was being used to treat bacterial, viral, and autoimmune diseases, but in the 1950s, enthusiasm over the development of new antibiotics and vaccines caused UBI to be put on the shelf by the medical authorities, even though for certain conditions such as hepatitis, herpes, and viral pneumonia, its effects were demonstrably superior to those of drugs.
The development of multi-drug resistance to antibiotics in recent years and the search for less toxic therapies have led to a renewed interest in UBI therapy. By now, thousands or millions of patients
have been successfully treated with UBI and scores of clinical trials have been conducted in Russia, Ukraine, and the former East Germany. UBI is also currently being used by some physicians in China and the United States.
UBI therapy is effective against many disorders. American medical science has made a significant mistake by ignoring years of documentation (which have included several controlled studies) which demonstrate the beneficial effects that UBI treatment has had on hundreds of thousands of patients and which has been used by reputable physicians since 1928. It’s especially hard to justify this oversight, given the fact that the scientific community has been intensively seeking to identify promising new approaches to HIV treatment and related viral conditions, many of which can be effectively treated with UBI.
In addition to killing pathogens, UBI treatments inactivate toxins, increase oxygen transportation to organs, activate steroid hormones and white blood cells, dilate blood vessels, stimulate cellular and humoral immunity and fibrinolysis, decrease blood viscosity, improve microcirculation, and decrease platelet aggregation.
UBI has been successfully used to treat viral and bacterial pneumonia, polio, botulism, non-healing wounds, herpes, encephalitis, peritonitis, asthma, hepatitis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and many other infectious, inflammatory, and autoimmune disorders, along with cancer.
UBI is beneficial to cancer patients not only because it increases oxygen to the tissues, but also because it strengthens and balances the immune system and is toxic to cancer cells. So far, the FDA has approved the principle that ultraviolet treatment of the blood can convey therapeutic benefit to patients. This is an important statement, as this governmental agency is usually hostile towards all therapies that aren’t considered to be mainstream.
Another line of remedies which we give our cancer patients are specific selenium formulations based on the work of Emanuel Revici, MD, a New York doctor who passed away in 1998. Selenium is a beneficial micronutrient trace metal which, when taken in tiny amounts, is healthy, but when taken in large amounts, is poisonous. Dr. Revici found a way to encase the selenium molecule in lipids, or fat, in such a way that the selenium wouldn’t get dissolved in the blood. He also found that specific lipids or fats concentrated in different tumors, so being the very biochemically-minded doctor that he was, he developed lipid envelopes around selenium molecules and gave these to his patients. These molecules would then selectively dissolve inside of their cancer tumors. So the treatment mechanism of selenium is similar to that of laetrile. A healthy dose of selenium is around 200 mcg (micrograms), but by encasing the mineral in certain fats, Dr. Revici was able to use it therapeutically in doses of as high as ten grams, which he administered to his patients intravenously. Although ten grams of selenium is high, his patients didn’t die of selenium poisoning, but the selenium successfully dissolved their tumors.
This New York City doctor, originally from Romania, made house calls to patients in Manhattan until he was 100 years old. Every night, he would eat dinner and then go into his research lab, where he would work for most of the night. He slept three hours per night, on average. He ran his own hospital, and had so many grateful patients that they purchased the hospital and asked him to be its director. He developed a whole line of remedies to treat cancer and other conditions, most notably drug and alcohol addictions. He worked “outside the box,” and ran afoul of the American Medical Association, so they blacklisted him. He had to operate under the radar, so to speak, but he still managed to keep his own hospital in New York City. The medical authorities tried to take his license away but failed. It would take hours and many pages to explain all the details of his amazing treatments. I’m working on incorporating Dr. Revici’s work into mine, and am also now working with his
niece, who is a biochemist in New York who runs his clinic and provides me with certain remedies for my practice.
Poly-MVA is a new supplement in the fight against cancer that we have been using at our clinic. It’s a patented combination of palladium (a mineral) and alpha-lipoic acid. It also contains a combination of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. It promotes energy production and potent antioxidant protection at the cellular level. When palladium is sequestered in alpha-lipoic acid, it’s beneficial to healthy cells, but toxic to cancer cells.
We also do heavy metal testing and chelation therapies. Ninety-nine percent of all people have some heavy metal toxicity in their bodies, and these metals interfere with their immune function in one way or another.
As one treatment for heavy metal toxicity, we give our patients cracked cell chlorella to take at home, which binds metals in the bowel and gets them out of the body. Cracked cell chlorella is a type of fresh water blue-green algae. We do both IV and oral heavy metal chelation treatments at our clinic but we usually don’t start these until after our patients have completed an aggressive cancer therapy protocol because these, in and of themselves, are intensive and all-consuming protocols.
Another important aspect of our cancer treatment involves enhancing our patients’ drainage systems (or detoxification pathways) with homeopathic and herbal preparations. One that we use is a German herbal formula called Lymphonest, in addition to homeopathic remedies by Pekana, which assist with the drainage toxins through the detoxification organs. Pekana has remedies for liver, kidney, and lymphatic drainage, as well as others.
Additionally, we use a Chi machine, which also helps with detoxification. For this therapy, patients lie on the floor and place their feet into grooves on a machine. The machine then swings their feet back and forth for fifteen minutes, creating a wave-like motion which reverberates throughout the entire body and enhances lymphatic drainage. I also recommend that they purchase a mini-trampoline, because rebounding on a trampoline is the best exercise there is for stimulating lymphatic drainage, and it only costs $30-50. Just bouncing up and down on it, for five to ten minutes, enhances lymphatic circulation.
We also have a far infrared dome, which patients can climb into and sweat out toxins. Additionally, we recommend far infrared saunas, as well as steam or hot baths because sweat glands are like miniature kidneys that help the body to unload toxins. We encourage our patients to load up on good healthy liquids (water, especially), and do sweat-inducing detoxification therapies, two or three times per week.
We also encourage them to have regular bowel movements. If they are on strong pain medications, then their bowels sometimes become sluggish and they get constipated. This causes them to retain toxins which then need to be cleaned out. So we have specific remedies which we recommend for constipation.
Finally, we do standard lab tests to monitor our patients’ organ function. I use several different herbal formulas to restore the functioning of the organs.
This ancient therapy, which has recently gained new attention, involves connecting the patient to the earth through various techniques of “grounding.” By transferring electrons to the body, the earth balances its electrical system and thereby neutralizes inflammatory and dysfunctional cellular processes. Walking barefoot on the earth is the simplest way to experience the benefits of this therapy, which have been proven in several studies. Most notably,
Earthing decreases inflammation and improves immune system function, which is important for beating cancer.
