Mia and Pam finished packing up the paint thinner, and headed to the police station
with the others.
As they entered the through the front door, they ran into Tony’s men and they told Mia
and Pam that Paul and John were in the first room on the right side.
Pam got up and whispered to Mia that she was going in with Paul.
Mia told her that she was right behind her, and also said that where you go I go.
They both headed into the room Pam spotted Paul and tapped the butt of gun to get
Paul’s attention. The sound just didn’t get the Paul’s attention it also got the attention
of the undead that were in the room.

Paul turned to see where the noise was coming from, as he saw Pam he also noticed
that some of the undead were getting up. Paul moved as fast as he could to shoot the
ones that were close to him. John was doing the same thing.
Mia pulled up her 9mm pistol and also started shooting.
John’s gun jammed, he dropped it and grabbed his knife, one by one John was
stabbing the zombies that were closes to him.
A zombie was right behind John. Paul yelled to John and told him to get down! John
dropped to his knees Paul shot it right through the left eye the zombies head snapped
back, he fell on top of John, John pushed the rotting body off from him and got back
up.
Paul and the other finished killing all to other zombies in the room. John bent over
and picked up his 9mm pistol and unjammed it.
Paul asked him why didn’t you use your Tec 9mm?
John told him that he doesn’t have a silencer on it, I didn’t want to wake up the other
undead in the building.
Paul said that he under stands and he opened his bag and grabbed a silencer out and
tossed it over to John and told him to put it on.

Tony and Frank entered the first room on the left it was the pitcher and finger print
room it was clear there were no zombies in there, so they headed to the next room.
As they came back out inti the hall way, one of Tony’s men pointed to the room that
Paul and John.
Tony walked over to his men and Dale told him that they heard shooting in there.
Tony got up and stuck his head into the room.
Paul saw him and gave him two thumb up to single that everything was ok.
Tony back out and turned to his men and said that they are ok and they should be
back out in a few minutes.
Dale told him ok but there was a lot of gun fire in there.
Tony looked at him and said that there were a lot of undead in there. Why don’t you
get two others and go in there and help them clear the rest of the room?
Dale said that he could do that, and that he would send the others to the outside of the
room that Tony and Frank already cleared.
As Tony walked a way he gave him a thumbs up to do that.

Dale pointed to Mac and Sara to come with him, they entered the room that Paul
and John were in.
Paul asked them if something was wrong?
Dale told him no, Tony had me pick two people and to come in here and help you clear
this room.
John said that they were going into the Jail cell room next, John pointed to the room
inside of the room they were already.
Paul told them that there is going to be a lot more undead in there.
Tony walked over and opened the door. There was a police officer in there dead he
had the top of his head blown off. He still had the gun in his hand. There were undead
in the cells, Tony stuck the barrel of his gun in and started to shoot them all in the
head.
Paul told them one shot for one head, we don’t need to waste bullets if we don’t need
to.
There were three people per cell.
John said that it looks like they put the people who were bit into the cells. Why would
they do that.
Paul said maybe they thought that someone would make a cure to save them.
But it still doesn’t make sense, why not shoot them before they killed themselves, John
replied.
Paul told him maybe they figured that it would be best to leave this world and leave it
to them.

Mia came over to John and told him, we don’t have the time to stand around here
and try to figure out what was going through their head. We just need to clear this
building, get what we can and get the hell out of here. We need to go and look for
survivors, now get your ass moving.
John looked at her and said, yes dear I love you honey bunny.
Mia smirked a little and told him to get go and that she loved him too.
Mia turned to Pam and said that, sometimes he pisses me off then he goes and says
thing like that.
Pam looks at her and said to her, I see that he loves you more than anything in this
world. I just hope that Paul and I have that same kind of love.

Paul told everyone in the room, okay everything in here is dead let’s get moving, we
have a lot more to do today.
They all headed back out in to the hallway. The others out there told Paul and John
that Tony and Frank are in the third room.
Paul told them that he wanted two men to move up to them and the other two to move
as we do.
They did what they were told to do. They were making sure that nothing was coming
down the hall, and they had to be ready just in case they were needed in the room to
help if needed.

Tony and Frank were in the break room they made sure that there were no zombies
in there.
Tony broke the glass in the vending machines to get all the chips, candy bar, and gum
out of them.
Frank saw a coffee machine and wish there were power to get a hot cup of coffee. He
said this isn’t the only thing I wish I could have. I miss my steak dinners and all the
fast food places.
Tony told him that someday that the world will back to normal, or at least are little
piece of it. You are going to have to be patient until then.
Frank heard a noise in the closet he opened the door and there was a zombie inside,
Frank jumped back. He tried to pull his weapon, but the zombie was too close to him.
he punched the zombie so hard in the chest his hand went right in to it, Tony ran over
to him and shot the zombie in the head.
Frank saw that he cut his arm on the bones inside of the zombie.
Frank told Tony about the cut and asked if he was going to turn?
Tony said that he didn’t know he helped Frank get is arm cleaned up and took he back
out into the hallway.
Tony asked the two men outside in the hallway where is John and Paul?
They told him that they just went in to their second room.
Tony ordered the two men to watch Frank and told them what happened, and that he
was going to go and talk to Paul and John about it. I will be right back in about five
minutes.

Tony ran into the room that John and Paul were in. They were in the police chief’s
office; he was sitting in his chair with a bullet hole in his head he told his own life. He
had a bite mark on his left arm. Tony busted in and said we might have a problem.
Paul asked him, what is it?
Tony told them the store, what happen to Frank and that he didn’t know if he would
turn or not.
Pam spoke up and said that he is going to turn we need to take him out now.
Paul said NO, not yet we need to make sure before we go killing any one.
John agreed with Paul, and said that if we start killing people that get hurt like that
and they don’t turn then we are as bad as this damn virus. We need to make sure
before we go and kill him.
Pam told them that she saw someone else turn, after the same thing happened to that
person.
Mia spoke out and said that we are going to need to monitor him if he starts to turn we
will give him mercy and Put a bullet in his brain.

They all went back out into the hallway to see how Frank was doing. When they got
out there Paul’s men were out there. They told Paul that the back was clear and you
won’t believe what we found.

John looked up at Paul’s men, and said what won’t we believe?
Mike spoke up and said that is a mess of weapons and ammo, there is even hand
grenades boxes of them.
Paul told him men to load up everything they found back there, we are going to need
to get it all back to the compound.
Paul stood they a second you know I am getting tired of call it the compound, from
now on we call it New City.
John looked at Paul and said that cool, but we need to get Frank back to New City so
that Dr. Dave can look after him.
Paul asked Mike if he could take Frank back to the chopper and get him back to New
City?
Mike told him that he could do that, but he was going to need help.
John asked why are you going to need help?
Mike said that he could not watch him, and if he turns I can’t deal with him and fly to.
Paul told Mike to take Tina and Dale with you, when you come back land the chopper
in the center of town we should have everything cleared by then.
Mike said will do, see you all when we get back.

Paul and John had everyone in the back of the police station. Mike was right there
were a lot of weapons that were going to come in handy.
John said that the trucks we brought are not going to be big enough to haul all of
these out of town.
Paul said that there was a moving truck over at the corner gas station, we can use that
to load all these weapons and ammo into.
John thought for a minute and said yea that should be big enough, if not theirs got to
be a U-Haul some place in town that we could use as well.
Paul sent Tony and Sara to go and get the moving truck from the gas station. He also
had Mac climb to the top of the building to see if he could see any U-Haul truck out
there anywhere.

Tony and Sara weren’t gone l
one, Tony backed the truck up to the back door of the
police station.
Paul and John came out and opened up the back of the truck, there were some boxes
of clothing in the back. Paul picked up a box and walked over the opening of the door
and through it out. John helped him throw out the boxes so that they would have
room to put all the weapons into the back of the truck.
Mia and Pam were in the back of the police station having the rest of the team get
thing ready to move.
Paul walked in told everyone that the truck is here and ready, I need everyone to start
grabbing everything they can and start to load the truck.
Everyone was standing there, Paul spoke up a little load and said LET’S GET
MOVING NOW!
They all jumped and started to move fast as they could.
John walked over to Mia and told her as soon as we are done here, we will head over
to the school.
Mia spoke, It’s about time. We need to go and find survivors, we are going to need as
many people we can find to help to make a new world.
John looked over at her and said I am getting to old for this shit, I am almost sixtyyear-old and I want to retire before I die and I would prefer to die of old age and not
by getting bit by the dead.

Mac came down from the roof and told Paul that he could not see any trucks that
would work, but I did see some smoke coming from where the high school is.
Paul told him okay go help the others finish loading the truck.
John walked over to Paul and said penny for your thoughts?
Paul told him that Mac couldn’t see any more trucks we could use.
John told him not to worry about it this truck is big enough to haul it all.
Paul said great, Mac also told me that he could see smoke coming from the high
school.
Well the truck is loaded and we are ready to go, John said.

Paul walked into the back room where everyone was waiting to find out what we
were going to be doing next.
Just as Paul was getting ready to say something, Mike came back with the chopper.
He landed it right where Paul told him to. Everyone ran out including Paul and John.
Mike got out of the chopper, Tina and Dale also came back. Someone else also came
back with them.
It was Jim the president came as well he wanted to see how we were doing.
Paul and John went over to Jim and asked him if he was nuts, it not safe out here?
Jim told him that he ordered Mike to bring him along. He also said that Mike told him
about all the weapons that you all found.
Mike came over and said look on are way in I few over the top of the high school there
is people there that we need to get to. They were outside burning dead bodies.
Jim told Mike and Dale to stay with the chopper that the rest of us were going to the
high school.
Paul said that he would like to send Mac and Tony to take all the weapons that we
loaded up back to New City.
Jim looked dumb founded, and said New City where is this.
Paul said sorry I got tired calling it the compound, so I named it New City.
Jim smiled and said I like it we are going to keep that name. Jim also said that they
can go ahead and leave to take the weapons back to New City.
John walked over to Tony and Mac and told them to get in the truck out back and take
it back New City. Now on your way back bring back a bus with you so we can load the
people at the high school, so we can take them to their new homes in New City.
Tony said that there is busses already at the high school.
John said ok then just stay there until we come back.
Ok Tony replied.

Everyone loaded up in to the trucks to head over to the high school to get what
survivors that were left there.
When they entered into the school parking lot, it was blocked off. There were two
people standing on top of a car.
We stopped and got out, Paul asked the president to stay in the truck.
Jim told him that he would let him and John do all the talking, but if you don’t get
anywhere I will come out and take over.
Paul said to him that was a deal.

Paul told everyone to put their weapons down, we are not here to hurt anyone. Paul
yelled up to the two men and asked them if they could talk to someone in charge.
One of the men said that he would go and get them. He told the man to stay there and
to keep an eye on us.

A women came out and said how can we help you I and the leader here and if you
want to come in you need to hand over your weapons.
Jim got out of the truck, he walked over to the women and asked do you know who I
am.
She replied yes I do Mr. President, I am the leader here and my name is Kathy.
Jim said that I am pleased to meet you. we come in peace and would like to take you
and your people to are compound witch we named New City. We cleared out the whole
City of Corning and we have a lot of room and food. We are trying to build a nice
place to live and we would love to have you and all your people come and stay with us.
Kathy told him, that would be great but how do we know what you are saying is true.
Jim told her that if she would like he would fly her out there and show her.
Kathy said that he could fly her second in command out. If he says everything you
said, then we will talk more.
Jim told Paul to call Mike on the radio to fly the chopper onto the school lawn.
Mike radioed back and said that he was on his way.
