He shrugged as a sexy grin spread over his face. “The gig isn’t all bad.”

“You’re adorable.”

“And for the next thousand years, you’re mine.” As he relaxed over the top of her, Martha Silverstone’s voice blared from the television. “You’re going to be famous, you know. You’ll have everything you ever wanted.”

Using two fingers, she turned his face to hers. And then, when he looked into her eyes with more love than she ever could’ve hoped for, she said, “I already do.”
