"She been calling you?" I ask, a little upset.

"I think Sadie told her. She won't stop calling since Sadie left pissed earlier. Don't worry, I'll figure it out," he promises. His phone beeps, indicating a voice mail, and within a minute, another tone indicates a text. He groans. “I'm going to take care of this before it gets out of hand.” He gets up and kisses the top of my head before walking away.

Lacy looks at me. "What's going on?"

"Sadie found out about us and threatened Landon," I say, watching as Landon is obviously calling her back. "Now Sydney is pursuing him more than her usual."

"Fuck," Lacy says, looking back over at Landon too.

"Yeah."

Chapter 11- Landon

"What?" I bark at Sydney when she answers. I wanted Brooklyn to know that Sydney is calling but not the details. Not yet at least. Not long after Sadie left this afternoon, I got the first call from Sydney. Among those calls have been some inappropriate texts too. A few dirty ones accompanied with pictures of her with no clothes. I don't know why she would think that desperation looks good. It don't.

"Don't want me?" she purrs over the line. I cringe.

"What do you want?" I get right to the point.

"You know what I want. Preston and Sadie are making up as we speak. I mean, I think he's fucking her right now. I also heard a little rumor about you today. Want to know what I heard?"

"I think I already know. It's none of your business. Let it go," I firmly tell her.

"I don't think so. I can go far with this information. Get over here now. I want what I want, and that's you." The line goes dead. Fuck.

I look over at Brooklyn, and she is walking into the house with Lacy. I walk in after them, and they are standing at the door. Lacy's about to head home. Luckily she sobered with our news, and she only lives a few houses down. As soon as she leaves, Brooklyn turns around, looking worried. "Come here, baby." I open my arms to her. She walks right into them.

"What did she want?" Brooklyn asks as she looks up.

"Me. She wants me to come over. I can't do it. I know we don't want Preston finding out, but I can't fuck her. What should I do?"

"Let me think." She has a face that is so cute while she's thinking. I kiss her neck, and she giggles. "I can't think when you do that."

"Sorry, I couldn't help it." I peck her nose.

"I got it. Do you think we can conjure up a fake contract stating her silence if paid a sum of money? I can write her a check, so I have a copy of it as proof." She pulls me into the kitchen.

"I think then if it came out, we could be said to be bribing her. Cash is better, we can take a picture of it, I don't know. How much?" I ask as Brooklyn hands me a glass of iced tea.

"Ask her. Call and tell her that you can't do it, but I'll pay her off." I pick up my phone, dialing Sydney. She answers almost immediately.

"I'm still waiting, Landon," she purrs again through my phone. I cringe once again. She makes my skin crawl even more now.

"I can't fuck you, Sydney. But I have a proposition for you. Can you come by Preston's tonight without anyone knowing?" I look at Brooklyn, and she nods.

"I guess. But don't hold your breath. What I really want is you." She hangs up before I can respond.

**

Sydney arrives about thirty minutes later. She's dressed in a short skirt and a sheer top that reveals her black lace bra. I walk her into the kitchen where Brooklyn is looking through some papers. Her head pops up when we approach.

"What's this about Landon?" Sydney asks, looking between Brooklyn and me.

"I want to confirm what you think you know?" I respond.

"Sadie says that you're fucking her. By her, I mean Preston's mom." She gives Brooklyn a soured face.

"Okay, not that it's any of your business, but I am. We want to keep this between only us for now. We say when we want it to come out. I have--we have decided that if you would keep quiet about our relationship, we will make it worth it." I look over to Brooklyn, who nods.

"What would make it worth it is if you'd fuck me too. I don't give a fuck about Brooklyn or her feelings," Sydney threatens.

I notice Brooklyn tenses up at her words. "That's not going to happen. I'm only fucking one woman, and it's not you. However, if you sign a document stating your silence will be given, we are prepared to pay you off."

"How much?" Sydney inquires. I knew money would interest her.

"If you sign it and don't follow through with the silence, I will contact my family attorney whether we are out in our relationship or not.  Also, you have to leave me alone.  What's your price?"

She looks like she’s pondering the offer. "I don't know. You know how much I've been trying to turn you on to me."

"I know, but it's not going to happen. I'm happy. Let it go," I tell her, and her face saddens.

"I see that. I'll sign it, and I want her to pay me fifteen hundred." She points to Brooklyn. "She's the problem. She is the one keeping you from me. I hate her." Sydney scowls at Brooklyn.

Brooklyn speaks up then. "I'll pay you your money, but you leave Landon alone. Don't look his way and don't even try calling him. I don't want you here, and I don't want you around my son. You understand me?" Brooklyn's pissed now.

"Yeah, whatever."

I hand Sydney a contract that Brooklyn and I drew up within five minutes. She quickly signs it and holds out her hand. "My money?"

I take it from Brooklyn, but before I hand it over, I reinforce our conditions to her. She nods and agrees as I hand it to her. "Get out of my sight," I tell her. She turns and leaves without another word.

I look over at Brooklyn, and she is still fuming. "I hate that bitch," she says as I walk toward her.

"I know, me too." I pull her into my arms. "It should be fine." I kiss her lips softly. She wraps her arms around my neck.

"What am I doing, Landon?" she asks as I kiss softly from her mouth, down her neck. "We shouldn't be doing this." I reach and flip the button on her shorts that she has pulled on over her swimsuit. I push them down over her hips, along with her swim bottoms. I pick her up, setting her on top of the counter. "Landon." She moans as I spread her legs apart, running my finger up and down her beautiful pussy. She lies back when I lean down, kissing the inside of her thigh. She smells amazing. I can smell her arousal along with the coconut lotion she rubs on her legs and the chlorine from the pool. I lick in between the folds of her sex, and she grinds against me. I push both her shirt and bikini top above her tits. Her piercing is so fucking sexy. "Oh fuck, Landon."

"I know, baby. I'm taking care of you. This pussy's mine." I continue to devour her as if I'm never going to eat again. I push my finger as I suck onto her clit.

"Yes....Yours." She screams her release as her pussy muscles tighten against my fingers. I quickly unbutton my shorts, letting them fall to the floor. I pull her pussy to my throbbing dick. I push into her, feeling her hot, wet center. I groan.

"Fuck, Brooklyn, you feel fucking amazing." I start to thrust in and out, pulling her on and off my shaft. She starts to play with her tits, rolling her nipples between her fingers. "That's it, baby." I groan. I rub against her erect little bud while she continues to pleasure her tits. After several more thrusts, I feel my release about to surface. "Come with me, baby." I rub against her harder as I thrust harder. She moans as I do, and we climax together. Panting, we stay there connected a few minutes longer. I kiss up her torso. I look up and smile, and she smiles back. I lick her right nipple and then her left as I pull myself out. I see my cum glistening all over her pussy and running down her legs. I help her down off the counter. I pull up my shorts while gathering her shorts too.

"I need to shower." She kisses my lips. She turns and walks away with her ass hanging out the bottom of her shirt. She’s so fucking hot. I of course follow her up the stairs and into the shower. What can I say? I can't get enough.

Chapter 12-Brooklyn

It's been a few weeks now since our encounter with Sydney, and as far as we know she has kept her end of the agreement. She has also left Landon alone that I know of. He hasn't mentioned anything to me. I haven't seen him alone since that night either. He's been around, but so has Preston. We went out to dinner a couple times, but that's about all.  We celebrate Landon's twenty first birthday out with half the baseball team. They choose to go bowling, and the greatest part is there is no Sadie and no Sydney. Preston never got back with Sadie after all, which was a total relief to me.

After a couple of games of bowling, I head over to the connecting bar for a margarita. I'm sitting there when a handsome gentleman, about my age if I had to guess, sits down next to me.  After ordering his own drink, he starts up a very interesting conversation about the weather. BORING. I smile and nod as his conversation moves toward whether I'm interested in a game of pool.  I'm about to decline when I see Toby at the other end of the bar. He smirks at me as he leaves with a pitcher of beer. Next thing I know, I feel arms close around my shoulders.

"Hey, baby." Landon growls loud enough for the gentleman, I now know as Frank, to hear.

I look up, shocked. Next, I look around and my entire group is standing inside the door of the bar. Preston is laughing his ass off. I decide if the group is in on this, I'll play along too. "Hey, honey." Landon kisses my forehead.

"Oh, I didn't realize you were taken," Frank says very uncomfortably.

"It's fine." I smile as I get up. Landon takes my hand, and we both walk back together toward the group. Preston laughs and picks me up.

"Mom was getting hit on." Preston chants and the whole group of guys whoops and hollers. I notice Frank from the corner of my eye blush a shade of red. We then head back out to our lane to finish another round of bowling.

**

I know the boys have been busy getting everything ready again for college. I worry that I will lose him, although I know I shouldn't have him to begin with. I'm also losing Preston too. He's been my baby for the past twenty years.  Getting older now, I'm afraid he will need me less. I feel like the house is empty again without having the boys here. I wipe the tear that has fallen down my cheek. I hear the door open as Preston calls out to me.

"I'm in the kitchen," I holler back. I know this is the last weekend the boys will be around. I won't possibly let them know that I totally dread them leaving.

"Mom, Landon and I are ready to head across town to move everything into the new apartment." I look up, and Landon forces a smile. I have a feeling that he dreads this about as much as I do. But I want the best for them.

I smile. "Let's load up." Preston hugs me, and I just lose it. I start to sob into his chest.

"Mom, don't do this. We are only across town and will see each other all the time. I will come home all the time." He rubs my back, trying to console me.

"I know." I sniff. "I’m happy for you both. I really am." I wipe a couple tears from my cheeks. Preston kisses my forehead before letting me go and heading out the door. I think he realizes that this is getting harder and harder each year.
