Jasper sent me a text, letting me know Breaks is now on Eden duty because Trevor bailed. I guess he couldn’t handle Mrs. Shepard. Not many can.

I giggle about the events from last night, watching Trevor shake with nerves. When he started in on trying to watch his mouth, Mrs. Shepard ended up smacking him with a beer bottle on the head, telling him to ‘cut that shit out’. It was epic. If only Jasper could have seen it.

“What is wrong with you boy!” I heard Mrs. Shepard say, scolding Trevor.

“Nothing, ma’am,” he said.

I turned to look at them both.

Mrs. Shepard’s eyes narrowed on Trevor. Uh oh. “Did you just call me ma’am, boy?” she said in a low scary voice.

Trevor, not knowing who she was yet, wasn’t deterred. “Just respecting the elderly. However, you obviously don’t respect people younger than you,” he fired off.

I stood up quickly, wanting to rush Trevor out of the house, but it was too late. He got a beer bottle to the head.

“You crazy old bat,” Trevor yelled.

“Trevor, please, don’t. You’ll just make it worse,” I said quietly, pleading with him.

“Fuck that! That old hag thinks she can look down on others, and the old bitch just threw a bottle at me,” he stated.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mrs. Shepard stand up and walk toward us hurriedly, clocking Trevor right in the nose. “You disrespectful little shit. Even your boy Mason is scared of me, as he should be. You need to learn your place,” she spat out at him.

Trevor’s eyes widened, and he turned to me, glaring. “Thanks for the damn warning.”

“Don’t you be mouthing off,” Mrs. Shepard threatened. “Now, I’m going to order some damn pizzas, and I’m going to sit here and watch you eat because you are too damn skinny.”

Thirty minutes later, the pizzas arrived and I was shocked. “Um, Mrs. Shepard, why on earth would you order ten pizzas?”

“Because, that bastard right there is going to eat at least two of them. We are going to polish off at least one, and the rest can be left-overs,” she said as she sat on the couch.  “Now, go and get some plates and napkins,” she said with a clap of her hands.

We were sitting quietly, watching some TV, when I noticed Trevor had finished off one whole pizza. He leaned back and patted his stomach.

“Another,” Mrs. Shepard demanded.

“I’m stuffed,” Trevor said, shaking his head. “But thanks for the food.”

Mrs. Shepard tossed her plate on the table with a thud and got up, moving in front of Trevor sitting in the chair.

“Oh no,” I breathed out.

She reached back and grabbed another pizza. “You either start eating this one, too, or I swear, boy, I’ll shove it down your throat myself.”

I stared at Trevor, who looked like he wanted to bolt. He reluctantly took the pizza box from her and gulped. When Mrs. Shepard moved back to the couch, Trevor looked at me, shooting daggers.

Maybe, I shouldn’t have requested he stayed...

Chuckling at the night’s events, I know he’ll be telling Jasper about what happened. After this, I have a feeling Trevor won’t want me around again, even if it’s not Eden duty.

Doing a quick clean up, I’m trying to make sure I’m on time to work. Being late doesn’t mean trouble, though, since the boss is my boyfriend.

At least Glenna was at Lilly’s last night, since Mrs. Shepard was off her rocker, so I don’t have to worry about getting her to school today. Although, I did miss her waking me up this morning.

I am surprised when, after dressing, I go back downstairs to find Jasper waiting for me. I didn’t hear him pull up. “Hey, where did you come from?” I give him a quick peck on the lips.

“Parked down the street so I could surprise you,” he says, kissing me hard on the lips. “Missed these lips.” He smiles at me. I missed his too.

“Well, you wanna give me a ride to work.” I wink at him, cocking my hip toward the door.

“I have something you can ride.” He presses my hand against his hardening cock.

“My boss is going to be pissed. I’m going to be very late for work,” I tease him with a wink.

“I think I can find something to get you back on his good side,” he teases back, pushing me up the stairs. His hands are all over me, and it feels so good to be back in his arms.

As soon as I’m in my room, he has me pinned against the bed, devouring me with hungry kisses.  He is tearing at my clothes. He nearly chokes me with my shirt when it gets hung around my neck.  I yank at the buckle on his belt, just as eager to have him undressed.

He cups my breast possessively. “This is all mine.” His lips claim my pebbled peak. He sucks on my bud passionately as he looks at me through hooded eyes while I watch him taste me.

My hands are roaming over his hard muscular back as he kisses his way down my stomach. His muscles stretch and flex under my hands. His fingers go to work stretching my pussy for his needy cock. Carnal pleasure washes over me when his tongue flicks over my clit.

“Oh God! Jasper, that feels so good.” I pant his name out once more in a whisper as he brings me to my climax.

“Love watching you get off.” His arms snake around my waist as he pulls me closer to him. He is spooning me from behind, his arm hooked under my bent knee, as he inches inside of me, going as deeply as he can.

Jasper massages my tits as I grind my backside against him. His mouth is against my neck as he plants feather light kisses across my skin. “Fuck, Eden,” he moans, spilling his seed inside of me.

I punch in the number on my phone, letting it ring. He answers on the second ring. “What you have for me?” his gruff voice asks.

“Boys are pissed about Big Willy and Foxy’s deaths,” I tell him as I pace the floor in my room.

“Eden?” he asks, sounding annoyed.

“Doesn’t know yet. Angel hasn’t talked.”

“Have her find out. If it doesn’t work, start plan C.” He hangs up abruptly.

I don’t want plan C. It’ll just make unnecessary drama, and most likely Eden will hear Angel out; not because she wants to, but because Angel will make her. Ever since she got back in town, Angel’s changed—demanding more of her, not letting her go.  Bitch is never out of his sight long enough to make a move.

If shit doesn’t work, we’ll have to take desperate measures. Don’t matter, though; I’m willing to go the distance. I am sick of this pussy shit. Jasper’s made a mockery of our club.

I’m working away on the computer, filling orders for parts and emailing this girl named Kristi about a website. Hilary’s cousin, Hayley, and her co-owner of the salon used this girl to help with building their website, so she came highly recommended. Since working here, I’ve noticed the shop doesn’t have a website. Every repair shop should have one. What if someone was driving through and Googled repair shops on their phone, but didn’t think one was nearby because there’s not a website? So I contacted her.

Figured it would be something I could do to help out the shop more. They get good business, but more couldn’t hurt.

The phone rings as I hit send on the email to Kristi. “Hello? Angel’s Repair Shop and Tow,” I greet cheerily.

Silence is on the line. “Hello?” I ask again.

“You really think he’ll keep you safe? Think again,” a dark, gravelly voice whispers in my ear. The caller hangs up before I can even think of a reply.

What the hell?

My first thought is that it was my father, but that didn’t sound like him. Who was that? I try to shake off the creepy feelings stirring inside me. I know I should tell Jasper, but he’d only put more people on me. I feel smothered as it is. Besides, it could just be some kids messing around. Lilly and I used to prank call people all the time.

My cell phone rings minutes later. I go to my purse, fishing it out. “Hello?” I say, my voice shaking.  I still can’t get that man’s voice out of my head.

“Is this Miss Blake? Eden Blake?”

“Yes,” I answer.

“This is Warden Barrett from the Bowden Institute. I’m calling to inform you about your father’s death,” he states.

“He’s dead?” I whisper. Shock washes over me. My hands break out in a cold sweat.

“Yes, ma’am. I’m sorry if this isn’t good news for you, but we needed to inform you.”

“No, it’s okay, really. It’s okay,” I breathe out. I hang the phone up, not listening as he continues talking; I don’t need to hear anything else he has to say.

He’s dead. I should feel upset. I should feel remorse, something, but right now, I feel nothing. He was my father, and although he was a shitty father, he did help make me. I’ll never be able to face him, to finally stand up for myself, and for once in my life not cower.

I wanted to face him, to be strong in front of him.

With him now dead and gone, I don’t have to worry anymore, but at the same time, I do. Just, ugh, I don’t have a chance to hurt him the way he deserves either. I can move on with Jasper finally. Now, I just have to try and figure out how to tell him my secret.

Jasper told me he would take care of ‘it’ after reading the letter I got. Is this what he meant?

I get up from my chair and move to the door. I need to talk to Jasper. My father deserved to die, but I didn’t want it to be by Jasper’s hands.

I’m working on an old Camaro when Eden comes stomping out of the office. “I need to talk to you!”  I can’t help but notice how her tits bounce; it makes me hard, even though she sounds angry. Her jeans are tight fitting as well as her shirt, showing off those curves I love.

I grab the rag from my tool box and wipe my hands as I follow her inside. Shit, she looks upset. I was hoping I could get her in here alone and get a little quickie, but by the look of the angry scowl on her face, I had better keep my distance.

“What’s up?” I ask, leaning against the door frame.

“Did you kill my father?” she asks, staring me down, hands on her hips.

Shit, I should have known she’d find out. “No, but I’m looking into it,” I tell her.

“You mean you knew?” she asks, looking more pissed than before. “And you didn’t tell me? Instead, I had to get a phone call from the Warden telling me?” She ends up shrieking.

My shoulders sag. I should have told her, but I thought not telling her, at the time, was a better option.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I didn’t think you’d care to know.”

“Of course I care! He might have been scum, but you should have told me!” She has a grief stricken look of panic on her face.

“You’re right, I should have,” I tell her honestly, frowning.

“Anything else you are keeping from me?” she asks expectantly.

Sighing, I give in. “Foxy was murdered the same night she tried to get Glenna.”

She pales and falls back into a chair. “How?” she whispers.

“Bullet, back of the head,” I say bluntly.

“Who would do this?” she asks, not looking at me, getting up to go sit down in the chair in the office.

“Darlin’, I don’t know, but I have people trying to find out,” I let her know. Since this shit went down, our club is getting the backlash of it. Even though Satan’s Law is no longer in business, and we’re now Angels Warriors, it doesn’t stop the press and everyone else thinking Satan’s Law is still around.

I go to her, crouch down on my knees, and pull her hands into mine.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you when I found out.” I was just trying to protect her, though, maybe a selfish part of me wanted to keep her right by my side as much as possible.

“I don’t like secrets. I’m not a damn fragile doll, Jasper,” she tells me, not hiding her frustration. “He was a bastard. He was scum. Still, he was my dad and Glenna’s. He’s my tormentor and my greatest fear. You needed to be honest and up front with me.”  Her arms are trembling with fear or anger, I’m not sure which, but she doesn’t need to be afraid. I’ll never let anything happen to her or Glenna.

I cup the back of her head and kiss her forehead. “I’m sorry. No more secrets.” I run my fingers through her silky hair, trying to calm her.

“Okay, now I just need to figure out how to break this to Glenna,” she says muffled, her face in my chest.

“I wouldn’t, unless she asks. Don’t bring it up. Does she have many memories of him?” I ask her.

She nods. “Mostly they are just dreams. Sometimes she’ll wake up at night crying, remembering witnessing him beating me—none of her memories are good.”

“Think she’d care he was dead?”

“No,” she replies cooly.

“You are her guardian. You’ll do what’s best for her.” I don’t want to fight with Eden, not when we are just getting back to us again. “I didn’t tell you because I was afraid you would take off again. I know you only contacted us for help in keeping him away from you and Glenna, but it gave me a chance to finally get you back. I didn’t want you to slip through my fingers,” I tell her honestly. When Eden walked back into my life, I knew right then I’d never be the same again. This woman owns my heart, always has.

“I know, Jasper, but still, I don’t like being left in the dark, not about this,” she says, stepping back out of my arms and looking at me.

“I love you, Eden. I’m sorry.”  I grin at her.

She gives me a small smile. “I love you.”

I get an idea for that quickie I wanted and lock the door behind me after closing it shut.

“What are you up to?” She raises her brow at me.

“Haven’t had lunch yet. I’m a big man that likes to eat.” I shove the papers covering her desk to the floor.

“I like the way you think.” She saunters over to the desk, taking her clothes off as she goes. Her ass is seated on the edge of the desk.

I run my fingers up her smooth legs slowly. Goose bumps follow the trail of my fingers.

“Gotta’ be quick. Don’t want any of the guys catching the boss screwing the secretary.” I wink, and she smacks at my arm playfully.  I shove my jeans down and start stroking my cock, pressing it against her tight slit.

“Stop playing around, Jasper, and fuck me,” she grits through clenched teeth in my ear. I love that she is just as horny as I am. We have a lot of missed time to make up for.  I slam into her. Her pussy tightening around my cock feels so fuckin good.
