“It’s okay,” I assured him. “I’m fine now. When I woke up, I knew I had to make it there. It wasn’t the easiest trip though, considering when I got to the ticket counter I told the lady I was with you and she basically laughed in my face. That wasn’t fun.”

Tyler chuckled, but when I glared up at him he stopped. “Okay, that wasn’t funny, but I know they get that shit all of the time with people trying to get in for free. Next time, you just need to make sure you come with me.”

I had a feeling next time I would be going by myself once he found out about my secret. As soon as we got home, I was going to tell him everything. I just had to pray he would forgive me.

HEADING BACK TO Vegas made me nervous as hell. At least until I got the text from my brother saying he was headed back home, and that he would see me next weekend when he came back for the title fight. It felt like everything was crashing down on me. Not only did I have to explain to Tyler about Paxton, but this morning, I had to explain him to Bree and Cole.

Unfortunately, they saw me talking to Paxton in the lobby this morning when he was saying goodbye. Tyler wasn’t happy about it either, but Pax approached us as we were checking out. Thankfully, it was just a quick goodbye. Pax could see in Tyler’s eyes that his patience was wearing thin.

That wasn’t exactly the way I wanted my friends to find out about Paxton, especially since Cole lost the fight to him last night. Needless to say, both Bree and Cole felt betrayed and I didn’t blame them. I didn’t know they saw me with him until I got a text from Bree on the way home from Phoenix asking what the fuck was going on. I was kind of glad they didn’t ride with us because then I would’ve had to hear her bitch at me the entire time.

Now we were all back at Tyler’s house, lounging on rafts in his Olympic-sized swimming pool, relaxing. Or at least I was trying to. The guys were inside getting a cooler filled up with drinks so that Bree could have her way with me.

“I can’t believe you never told me,” she snapped, kicking water on me. “Cole was about to kick Paxton’s ass when he saw him talking to you, but then we saw Tyler right there. We had no clue what was going on.”

Tyler had kept his arm around my waist the entire time, even when Gabriella happened to walk by with her boyfriend. She’d smiled at us and waved, which only made things weirder. I was in a lobby with my current boyfriend and both of our ex-lovers in the same room. It was like being trapped in a soap opera.

“Is that why you kept saying you’d never date a fighter? Because of Paxton?”

“Partly,” I replied. “Paxton and I dated in high school, but when he started fighting and I left for college, things kind of changed. He was getting into trouble and I didn’t like that.”

“Yeah, he’s made a name for himself . . . and not a good one.”

“He’s not like that anymore. He’s a good guy, Bree. People can change.”

Lowering her sunglasses to the edge of her nose, she floated closer to me and held onto my raft, looking straight into my eyes. “Or,” she noted, “they could just be really good liars.”

“Are you girls done arguing now?” Tyler shouted. He dove into the pool straight for me, while Cole dove in after Bree.

Before I could slide off into the water, he flipped my raft over, laughing the entire time. He was going to pay for that. When I surfaced, I coughed up the water I swallowed and opened my eyes. “It’s going to be me and you arguing in just a minute,” I exclaimed, splashing him in the face with water. “That was so not funny.”

Wrapping his arms around my waist he pulled me over to the edge of the pool and lifted me up so I could straddle his waist. His cock growing harder the closer he got.

“I seem to remember us having some fun in the pool back in Phoenix. Want to do it again?” he asked, a mischievous smirk splayed across his face.

Wide-eyed, I glanced over at Cole and Bree who were busy talking on the other end of the pool. “With Cole and Bree out here? Are you crazy?”

Tyler chuckled and slid his hand between my legs, pulling my bathing suit to the side. “They’re getting ready to leave. We just got a call a few minutes ago saying there’s a party at the Labyrinth tonight. Cole’s going to take Bree home so she can get ready.”

I looked over his shoulder at them and they were still busy talking, not paying attention to us at all. “Then why can’t we wait for them to go home?”

“Because, beautiful,” he murmured, slipping his fingers inside of me, “where’s the fun in that?”

I closed my eyes and moaned quietly. “Tyler, what are you doing to me?”

He slid his fingers out and replaced them with something much, much larger. I gasped and opened my eyes. His fingers tightened on my ass when he pulled me down his cock, biting his lip as I gently moved up and down. He was much taller than me so with his back to our friends they couldn’t see me moving against him. I was going so slow, even the water around us was barely sloshing around.

Tyler groaned and pinched my nipple, rolling it around to make it peak. “Fuck, I wish I could suck them right now.”

With a sly grin on my face, I leaned over and whispered in his ear. “You can. All we have to do is go under.”

He pushed inside of me hard and bit the lobe of my ear. “I think I’m rubbing off on you, beautiful. You’re not as innocent as you were when I first met you.” He looked over his shoulder at Bree and Cole then back to me. “Let’s do it.”

We both smiled and took a deep breath, but before we could go under, Bree hollered for us. “Hey guys, Cole and I are going to head out so we can get ready for the party. We’ll see you both tonight, okay?”

With Tyler still inside me, he turned us around like nothing was amiss and waved his hand in the air. “All right, we’ll see you then.”

As soon as they got out of the pool and headed inside, I burst out laughing. “Do you think they suspected anything?”

Tyler shook his head and pushed in deep. “No, they were clueless. I wouldn’t worry about it.”

“So what do you want to do now?” I asked slyly.

Reaching behind my back, Tyler untied my top and let it float away. “I think we need to finish what we started. Are you ready?” He pushed off the side of the pool and swam toward the deep end. “On the count of three we go under. One, two . . .”

“Three,” we said at the same time.

After taking a deep breath, we both went under.

“So what’s the occasion tonight?” I asked as Tyler drove us to the Labyrinth. “Why is the owner throwing a party?”

Tyler shrugged and smiled over at me. “He likes to have a huge party at the beginning of each new season to bring it in formally.”

“Formally? What do you mean by that?”

He looked down at my tight green and blue striped tank top and denim shorts and then back up to me. “Well, it’s summer time, right? Everyone’s going to be wearing summer-themed items.”

Pursing my lips, I glanced down at my clothes and then over to what he was wearing. He was dressed in a pair of khaki shorts, a navy blue Oakley T-shirt with his platinum blond hair in messy spikes. Was I missing something?

“Shouldn’t I be in a bathing suit then?” I inquired curiously.

Tyler’s smile faded and he bit his lip. “Yeah, you could have, but I wasn’t exactly thrilled with you wearing the one you wore earlier in front of a bunch of men. Besides, that’s not all people will be wearing. There’ll be some people in regular clothes.”

He said it like he didn’t believe it. It wasn’t like I would want to wear a bathing suit to a club anyway. It wasn’t my style. “Like who? Bree?” I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. “Did you and Cole deliberately not tell us because you thought we would argue?”

He smirked and grabbed my hand, lifting it to his lips. “You, I wasn’t worried about. But Bree is a little wilder. Cole and I are just trying to avoid getting into trouble, which still might be hard considering you’re hot as hell and I know everyone will be looking at you.”

“You do realize you’re being a little overprotective, right? Don’t get me wrong, it’s flattering, but you have nothing to worry about. I’ll be by your side all night.”

“Trust me,” he said, kissing my palm, “I don’t plan on letting you go. I’m only here for Jake. He’s like a second father to me.”

We pulled up to the Labyrinth and waiting outside the doors were people in nothing but bare skin and scraps of cloth covering their bodies.
Oh, my God.
This was his last place of employment. “Do you miss working here?”

Tyler parked his truck and sighed, “Sometimes I do, but now I’m too busy with training. I just don’t have the time. I kind of like working at the gym now that we have a hot new employee.”

“Yeah, I kind of like my new job too,” I giggled.

“So are you ready to go in?” he asked, pointing at the club. “The sooner we make our appearance the sooner we can go home.”

He didn’t have to tell me twice. I worked at a bar for so long, I was over the hype of it all. Opening my door, Tyler walked around to my side and put his arm around my waist. When we walked up to the line, I half expected us to have to wait. But of course Tyler kept going until we got to the front door and he strolled right on in.

“The VIP treatment, huh?” I teased.

“What can I say? I’m a very important person.”

Rolling my eyes, he pulled me into the club and my mouth dropped wide open. Music blared over the speakers and there were people dancing everywhere. I got a little more than I bargained for when I saw a woman’s breasts flop out of her bathing suit top.

Tyler shook his head. “And that is exactly why I didn’t want you wearing your bikini here. I’m the only one who has the privilege of seeing your tits.”

“You’re such a caveman,” I teased, smacking him on the arm. “I can show my tits to anyone I want.”

Jokingly, he winked and took my hand. “Yeah, but they might not live long enough to enjoy them. Come on, Cole said they were going to meet us at the bar.”

On the way there, a group of girls hollered out Tyler’s name and waved him over, bouncing up and down in their skimpy bikinis.

“Friends of yours?” I asked, glaring up at him.

He let go of my hand and put his arm around my waist. “Do I need to shout it out to the world that I’m taken? Because I will if that’ll make you happy.” He waved at the girls but kept walking past, not acknowledging them any further. That earned a couple of snarls and glares sent my way, but I didn’t care. I was bound to get plenty more where that came from.

“No, I just need to get used to people wanting you. I’ve never been with anyone that was in such high demand.”

Glancing around the room there were a handful of people in regular clothes, but then I happened to get an eye full of a couple of men in Speedos. No matter how good looking a man was, there was no way in hell seeing him in a speedo was sexy. Well, maybe except for Tyler; he would look good wearing nothing but a sombrero and knee-high dress socks. I laughed picturing it in my mind.

Up ahead, Cole and Bree sat at the bar with a couple of drinks. Cole was in a pair of khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, while Bree wore a little blue sundress. When Bree spotted me, she jumped out of her seat and pulled me down to the seat beside her, passing me a tequila sunrise.
