“God! Liam! Don’t stop!” I screamed out.

I could feel one of his hands reach up behind me and begin to pull my hair back. It dawned on me, Liam
hadn’t seen how much I had cut off and was probably wondering where it was at that moment. I smiled
and then quickly bit my lip.

“Ryleigh!” He groaned out.

I quickly played with my spot that sends me off the edge and arched my back into him and screamed out
with him. He kept his fingers inside me for another moment, kissing all over my face and down my neck.
He then rolled away flipping on the lamp.

“Is it just me or did you lose some hair?” Liam jokingly asked.

“Actually, I chopped a few inches off! It was a spur of the moment decision this afternoon, but I totally
love it. What do you think?” I asked as I slid my underwear back on and found my shorts from earlier on
the chair.

“Well. It’ll grow back. I don’t know why you chopped it off. If you like it that is great, you still look the
same.” He said as he grabbed a soda from our fridge.

“You don’t like it?” I asked a little upset.
“Well, I prefer you with long hair. But I guess it looks okay.” He took a sip and came back to the bed with
the remote.

“Gee thanks.” I said hurt and lay back down on the bed.

“You’re upset now?” He said throwing the remote down.

“Well, kind of! You could just say it looks nice!” I rolled over away from him. I just wanted to go to sleep.
I could just hear him sigh loudly, as if he wanted to go into it more. I just ignored him and closed my
eyes.

I was completely worn out from the all of the excitement between the test and my winning, so I was
glad to be in bed and finally getting some sleep. Tomorrow was going to be very exciting as well. I heard
Liam turn on the TV on for a short time before I fell asleep.
The room phone had woken me up at 9:30. I answered to find Stephanie, the young woman that carded
me after winning, on the line. She sounded awfully cheery for being at work this early, especially after
we had been down in the casinos late. I felt like I was going to be sick, but grabbed a bottle of water out
of the fridge and took a long sip.

“Good morning Miss Andrews. This is Stephanie the Casino manager. We spoke last night about your
friends’ wedding.” She said happily.

“Good morning. Please, Stephanie call me Ryleigh. You aren’t waking me; well actually you did, but I
need to get up and tend to the bride, so thanks.” I said smiling.

“Alright, Ryleigh I need to get a little bit of info from you, how many people will be attending the
ceremony this evening?” She inquired.

“It will just be four of us. The bride, groom and then me and my husband, Liam.”

“Well I was going to have the caterers put to work, but since it’s a small group, how about I just I
arrange a special meal for the four of you down atour steakhouse and provide a wonderful cake for the
party?”

“Wow, Stephanie that sounds perfect! I’m sure that my friend, Courtney, will be absolutely thrilled!
Thank you very much!” I said happily, noticing that I was waking Liam up.

“What’s going on?” He whispered and I held up a finger to single just a moment.

“Is there anything else I could help with you, Ryleigh?” Stephanie asked, you could tell she was more
than happy to help.

“Stephanie this is more than enough, I think that will be all. We’re going to Haze this evening if you
would like to join us! We have a table and bottle service arranged if you would like to stop by for a
drink?” I invited.

“Thank you, Ryleigh. However, they frown upon us drinking in our place of work. I’ll make sure to pass
on the word down there that you are going to be joining them, though.”

“You don’t have to do that!”

“It is our pleasure, Ryleigh. Will you send a congratulations from everyone here at the Aria, to your
friend and husband? Enjoy your day as well!” She said kindly.

“Thanks again for your help! You have a great day as well.” I said as we hung up.

“What’s going on?” Liam repeated.

“I met a nice manager down in the casino and was bragging about Courtney getting married last night
and she was really happy to help arrange some extras into the mix. She is arranging a dinner for the four
of us down at the steakhouse downstairs and getting them a cake! How cool, huh?” I said excitedly.
“Wow, they were happy to do that?” He asked confused. I didn’t want to quite break to him that they do
it for big winners, but was playing it as if they like nice people who ask.

“Yeah, I think that she is just a hopeless romantic and saw how much in love they were last night.” I lied.

I then got out of bed and looked at the coffee maker and decided that this hotel room packet coffee was
not going to cut it this morning. I remembered that I saw there was a Starbucks down in the lobby.

“I’m going to run down to Starbucks, do you want me to bring you back anything or do you want to
come with me?” I asked grabbing my shower stuff.

“I’ll join you. Should we see if the love birds want to go?” Liam asked as he started to get out of bed.

“Good idea let me ring up her room.” I said grabbing the receiver. I noticed that someone was already
on the other line.

“Hello?” I asked. I could hear a girl on the other end. She was giggling.

“Um. Helllllooo.” She obviously was still drunk from the night before.

“You must have the wrong number.” I said a little annoyed and hung up, I really didn’t want to deal with
a drunken girl this early in the morning.

“Who was that?” Liam asked.

“Not sure, she sounded drunk and I haven’t had any coffee yet to deal with that.” I picked the phone
back up and dialed up Court’s room. “Hey, Mrs. Goodson! Do you guys want to go down and get some
Starbucks?” I said a little too excited when Courtney answered the phone.

“Actually, I just got a call from that Stephanie girl from last night; she said that we are getting a free
breakfast! You really pulled some strings, didn’t you?” She enthusiastically asked. She then lowered her
voice. “How are you feeling?”

“I didn’t know about that, but I do know of a couple surprises this evening! You guys have a great
breakfast! I am going to go down with Liam and getsome coffee and maybe a light breakfast. I need to
fit into my dress still!” I paused and looked back at Liam and lowered my voice a little. “Yeah, I’m good.”

“Liam is there then, what time did he get back?” She quietly asked.

“I am not going to ruin any surprises for you! You’ll have to see later!” I lied but she quickly picked up
that he was next to me.

“Oh he is right there, okay, tell me later. Remember the wedding is at 2:30, so I was thinking if you could
help me get everything ready about noon-ish?” She asked.

“Of course! I will be at your room at 12 sharp! I am so excited!” I really was ecstatic.

“Me too!” She squealed. “Alright, we are heading downstairs to grab some food. Thank you Ryleigh!”
“You’re welcome, Court.” I hung up the phone and headed into the bathroom to find Liam already
showering.

“Can I come in?” I asked as I poked my head in through curtain.

“Sure. Water is wonderful! Company is always welcome.” He smiled.

I stepped into the water and even though I knew that he wanted to have a little fun in the shower, all I
wanted to do was hurry and get through washing up and head downstairs. I wanted to get some coffee
and food in me and I was getting excited to help Court get ready for her big day!

“Everything okay?” Liam asked.

“Yeah! I’m just trying to play through all the things I need to do to get Courtney organized for today and
then make sure that I am ready as well.” I said uncertainly.

“Everything will be just fine.” He leaned in for a kiss and then stepped out of the shower.

“I’m sure it will be, too. I just can’t help worry that I will forget something.” I definitely was having
butterflies about everything that was going on this weekend.

I finished up my shower and got dressed. I realized how much I really loved my shorter hair when I
began to blow dry it. It was so much easier to deal with and didn’t take nearly as long to fix it. I could
only imagine how much time I would save in the mornings getting ready for work.

We headed down once I finished up my little makeup and headed downstairs to get some breakfast and
most of all coffee. Liam held my hand the entire way downstairs, but kept looking around like he was
looking for someone. That made me a little nervous, but he would kiss my hand or my cheek to reassure
me everything was okay.

We sat down at a little table by the pool; we both enjoyed a muffin and shared a cup of fruit. We sipped
our coffee, almost in complete silence except how much we both enjoyed the atmosphere of Vegas. I
tried to play out in my head how I was going to drop this entire bomb on him, but continued on about
how everyone was someone completely different here, they could be a top attorney or amazing plastic
surgeon but when they came to Vegas for the weekend, they were revisiting their college years.

We both laughed at the thought of both of our bosses possibly coming to Vegas and acting like complete
idiots. It was nice to take my mind off of the pending conversation.

I glanced down at my phone and had a missed call as I checked the time. It was 11:27, I needed to finish
up and head upstairs to help Courtney start gettingready.

“What time is it?” Liam asked as he finished up thelast strawberry.

“Almost 11:30. I need to finish up here and head upstairs. I am kicking Jason out, mind if I send him your
way?” I asked sipping the last couple drops of my coffee.

“That’s cool. I owe him an apology anyway.” He stood up and held out his hand for mine.

I reached up for his hand and stood up with him. We threw away our trash and headed towards the
bank of elevators. As we arrived we ran into Courtney and Jason kissing each other. I cleared my throat
very loudly so I was heard when we approached them.

“Don’t you know that you actually aren’t supposed to see each other the day of the wedding?” I asked
with a smile.

“Oh shut up! We aren’t having a traditional wedding anyway, so it’s okay that I see him.” Court said
rolling her eyes.

“Well you have perfect timing; I was going to head up to come over to your room! Jason, you can go
over to our room and chill out and get ready there.” I shoved Liam with my elbow.

“Yeah, man, come on over! These ladies need to primp and groom themselves.” I shoved once again.
“Oh, and I wanted to apologize about last night. Iwas a dick and shouldn’t have walked out on you.” He
looked as if it were painful to say.

“All good, man. Thanks for the invite, I will grab my stuff and then come on over.” Jason said before he
kissed Courtney on the head.
We all headed up and went to our separate rooms to each grab our things. I grabbed my yellow dress,
shoes and makeup bag and headed for the door. Liam stopped me before I could open it.

“Hey, I love you.” He said as he leaned in for a kiss.

“I love you too!” I said with a smile. He grabbed onto my wrist.

“But make me feel like shit; in front of someone that I feel was wrong for going off on me in a public
restaurant, I’m going to get really pissed off. Understand?” He said coldly.

“Yeah, I get it.” I said rolling my eyes.

“Ryleigh, I’m serious!” He said a bit louder and grabbed my wrist a little tighter. “I don’t appreciate you
being a bitch about it. You weren’t there last night. He made me feel like he was lecturing me about
being a good husband!” I didn’t think it was possible, but I could feel his grip tighten.

“Liam! That fucking hurts! Let go!” I screamed out. Tears were building in my eyes as I tried to pull away.

“I know I fucked up, but I don’t need one of my friends to point it out, my WIFE already pointed out and
that is all that should have happened!” He said through gritted teeth, angrily.

I quickly pulled my hand away as his grip loosened and could tell I was going to have a mark on wrist. He
never had laid a hand on me; this took me by complete surprise me. I already could see a mark on my
wrist as I opened the door. Fuck.

I walked down to Court’s room rubbing my wrist hoping that she wouldn’t notice. Fat chance. I knocked
on the door and put my dress over my wrist, to delay the reaction. Jason opened the door smiling; he
obviously was getting as excited as Courtney was.

“Hey there, Groomie! Are you all set? Before you answer, I hope your answer is a yes, cause I am kicking
you out anyway.” I laughed.

“Yeah, I just need to see if they can press a suit downstairs, so if you can call up Liam and let him know I
will be over later.” I interrupted him.

“He’ll be fine being alone for a bit. Go do what you need to do.” I smiled and gave him a brief hug. “I’m
so happy this is happening.”

“Me too, Ryleigh. I love her so much! Alright, makeyourselves beautiful and all that good stuff and I will
see you guys downstairs at 2:30. Don’t be late, well I know you won’t be, but make sure she doesn’t run
late.” He laughed and headed downstairs to get hissuit pressed.

“I promise!” I hollered after him laughing. I shut the door to find Court wasn’t anywhere in the room.
“Court? Where are you?” I asked aloud.

“I’m in the bathroom. I was in the shower; I’ll be out in just a second!” She hollered behind the closed
door. I laid my dress out on the bed next to hers and sat down towards the top of the bed and turned on
the TV. I found it funny that Sex in the City was on and it was the wedding scene. I sat there watching
and rubbing my wrist.

“What’s wrong with your wrist?!” Court said loudly, standing in awe in the doorway.

“Don’t worry about it, it’s nothing. Let’s start getting your hair done. How are you going to wear it?” I
asked trying to avoid the conversation.

“Ryleigh! Did Liam do this?” She grabbed my wrist. It wasn’t bruised but it was red.
