She
stretched out sensually on the bed and gently stroked the sides of her breasts with
the flat part of her palms. She pulled on her aureoles with the tip or
her fingers, tweaking them. She moaned and pulled at her nipples then
twisted then and she felt them stiffening, sending a slow churl of heat down
her belly to her core.
She slipped one hand over her belly to
explore the soft flesh of her outer lips, separating and sliding a finger up
and down the opening. The slippery heat of her body soaked her finger.
She pressed deeper and rolled her hips, sliding two of her fingers up and down
just inside her. She stroked higher to the parting of her lips and drew
small circles around her clit. She dipped her finger back inside her and
stroked the wetness over her clit. She rubbed her fingers up and down and
then in small circular movements. Slowly at first, then faster and
harder. She rolled and squeezed her nipple, feeling the heat rising in
her body. She pressed her finger inside her channel, pumping in and
out. She rubbed her clit and kept alternating like that, driving her body
to the peak. Her movements quickened, she lifted her hips against her
hand and panted. She groaned loudly when she hit the orgasm and her inner
muscles contracted. She panted as her inner muscles took control of her
body for long moments. She arched her back and enjoyed the hot rush
through her body.
Jenna relaxed all her muscles and
slowly turned on her side. Feeling totally relaxed after the climax. Not
extremely satisfying, but what was a woman to do if you are twenty nine years
old with no man in your life. A woman has needs too, right? Yet she
was finding masturbating more and more frustrating. She needed a man!
“A real man! A stud of a
man! One that would make me scream when I climax! Oh Lord … I am
pathetic!”
Jenna chuckled then groaned and pushed
her head deeper into the pillow. Deciding there and then to find herself
a man as soon as this assignment was over. She’ll just have to stop being
so picky and working herself to death. It was time to take care of her
own needs for a change!
With
the decision set in her mind, she slumped deeper in the bed and fell asleep
within minutes.
“I
could stand and look at that view the whole day! That is the most amazing
mosaic window I have ever seen! Did you do it?”
He stiffened when the husky, sensual voice
filled the silence in the triple volume entrance hall of the McGregor Belfast
castle. His response was short and abrupt.
“This castle was built in the 1800’s,
what do you think?”
“Oh, yes of course. Stupid of
me!”
She could not pull her eyes from the
sight in front of her. He stood nearly at the top of a large ladder,
wearing only short cargo pants that hung low on his hips with Cat boots on his
feet. His upper body was naked, gloriously naked. His calves were
strong, muscled and perfectly formed, with dark coarse hair covering it.
Her eyes stole upwards over his tight ass to slowly caress the muscled contours
of his wide, perfect back that were born from shoulders so wide, she
salivated. His arms were well toned and muscled. The hands that held
the hammer and the piece of wood were large and manly. A sheen of sweat covered
his skin. She shivered, imagining those hands on her body.
Lord, the man was temptation and lust
personified! He had dark hair that were slightly long in his neck.
His hand dropped to the tool belt around his hips and he withdrew a nail.
He totally ignored her. He did not even turn around to look
at her.
“You know the meaning of trespassing,
lady?”
“I’m not trespassing. I am here
on an assignment.”
“Did not hear you knock.”
“The door was open.”
“Still did not hear you knock.”
“Okay, jeez! For a carpenter you
really are stuffy! Do you know where I can find …?”
“Knock on the door and the butler will
direct you.”
“You know common courtesy demands that
you at least look at me when you talk to me.”
He hammered another nail in the frame
and rubbed over it with his fingers. Jenna shivered, imagining those
fingers on her nipples.
Stop it Jenna!
“I guess I am not common then.”
She nearly swallowed her tongue at his
rude response.
“Well! Thank you so much for
your kind assistance!”
He did not bother to reply and
listened to the click of her heels retreating down the stairs and back to the
front door. She turned around and stood outside glaring up at the man
hammering another nail into the framework he was working on.
She lifted her hand and slammed her
fist three times against the heavy door. The thump, thump, thump echoing
through the large entrance hall. She winced at the pain shooting up her
arm from hitting the heavy door so hard. She could swear she heard him snicker.
A middle aged, red haired man, dressed
formally in a pair of black pants and a black and white striped shirt, appeared
from one of the hallways. He smiled briefly and stopped in front of her.
“Morning te ye missy. What ca’ I
do ye fo?”
Jenna smiled delightedly at his
accent. He swallowed the last letters of most of his words and rolled the
r’s. She held out her hand to him and he grasped it briefly.
“Morning, kind sir. I am Jenna
Burkes. I have been sent here to assist with the restoration of some
artwork. I am to meet Mrs. Megan McGill here?”
“Right ye are. Follow me.”
He turned and walked quickly towards a
hallway on the right side of the entrance and she followed him eagerly.
Pointedly ignoring the hammering carpenter. She hoped he missed the nail
and hit his thumb!
The butler had to wait for her twice
when she became entranced with some of the historical paintings on the
walls. There were paintings depicting wars, tea parties and judicial
proceedings. Beautiful and breathtaking nature and different types of
landscapes.
Ronan Macduff smiled when he had to go
back a third time to look for her. He found her this time gawking at a
massive mural in the one formal ballroom. Which they walked past, but the
painting caught her eye. It depicted a ballroom such as this with people
dancing, talking and being merry. It was done in the medieval period with
the outfits that suited that era. It was badly faded and she could not
wait to get her hands on it. If she could get the Director to allow her
to do the work, not just the time study!
“Missy, ye will ha’e lo’s o’ time te
explo’e.”
“Oh, of course! I am so
sorry! Lead on Macduff!”
“How de ye know me name, missy?”
“Oh goodness! Is your name Macduff?
This is awkward! It is a saying that people use from Shakespeare’s play
Macbeth. It is actually a misquote. In the play Shakespeare wrote
Lay on Macduff. It only means, you lead and I’ll follow.”
“I should read up on this
Shakespea’e. He should no’ be usin’ the Macduff name like tha’!”
“Ehm … he wrote this in the 1600’s
already. You should be honored. He is still revered as one of the
most famous writers of all times.”
“If ye say so, Missy. He’e we
go.”
He ushered her into a large sunny room
with beautiful deep couches. Low tables, scattered Persian rugs and a grand
piano in the one corner.
A dark haired woman rose from one of
the couches where she was sitting making notes in a folder. She placed
the folder on the couch and approached Jenna with a smile. She was
strikingly beautiful. She had long dark brown hair with a smooth
alabaster complexion and the greenest eyes imaginable. She was tall and
built like a dancer.
“You must be Jenna Burkes?”
“Yes and you Megan McGill.”
“Welcome Jenna. I am delighted
that the Smithsonian Institute was willing to assist us with the restoration of
the artwork. They are quite priceless and we did not want to take any
chances by appointing just anyone. The Director at the institute assured
me you were the best there is.”
“We are always delighted to assist
with the preservation of something this authentic. I literally gawked at
all the paintings walking here.”
“Please, do sit down. Could I
offer you something to drink? If not coffee or tea, a soda or some
water?”
“Oh, I would love a soda please!
I have been craving one for days. I’ve banned myself from having
any for months now.”
Megan nodded towards Ronan and he
disappeared to go and fetch the order. Jenna noticed Megan looking at her
with some concern.
“I know the Director said you are the
best, but you look very young to be experienced enough for such a big
assignment.”
“I get that quite a lot. Good
genes, I imagine! I am twenty nine, actually thirty, within three
months. I have a Master degree in historical art restorations and have
been with the Institute for five years. I headed up the restoration of
the Washington Arts museum pieces two years ago.”
“I remember reading about that.
There was a lot of praise at the time for the team. Well, I guess that
sets my mind at ease.”
Ronan arrived with a tray with some
sodas, glasses and a crystal ice bucket filled with ice. They served
themselves and Jenna groaned at the sweet bubbly taste on her tongue.
“Some details about McGregor
Castle. It belongs to my brother, Callum McGregor. He bought it ten
years ago from the Belfast City Council and has been modernizing it over time.
It was formally known as the Belfast Castle. There was no public
opposition in changing the name as history depicted that the McGregor Clan had
a hand in the ownership of the original Castle in the 1200’s. It is set
on the slopes of Cave Hill Country Park, at 400 feet above sea level. As you
can see we have unobstructed views of the city of Belfast and Belfast Lough.”
Jenna looked through the windows just
to appreciate the view she already had when she got out of the rental car.
“The original castle built in 1611
burned down almost 100 years later, leaving only street names, to mark its
location in Belfast. In 1862, the third Marquis of McGregor, a descendant of
the Chichester family, decided to build a new castle here in the deer park, on
the side of Cave Hill. The family presented the castle and the surrounding
estate to the City of Belfast in 1934. Between 1945 and the 1970s Belfast
Castle was a popular venue for wedding receptions, dances and afternoon teas.
In 1978 the castle closed as part of a £2 million refurbishment program. It
reopened in 1988 and was a popular venue for weddings, conferences and other
events, until Callum bought it from them in 2004.”
