And I did. Starting slow but taking a hint from how he moved, we were soon almost slamming into each other. Our cries filled the air and I heard myself begging as he grunted, while my body spiraled towards release. I felt my channel begin to spasm around him as my nipples tightened almost painfully sharp. I couldn't help my high, keening wail as I came that second time. As I did, I felt Trey throb and an additional heat seemed to fill the latexed length he had buried deep within me. He wasn't silent either when he climaxed although what he roared seemed strange in light of all the other things he'd said.

But the bellowed, "
mine!
" had been hard to miss since it echoed in both the shower and throughout the bathroom.

And seemed to settle all the questions my heart had held.

Chapter Eighteen

Trey lay on his back, hands behind his head feeling her bubble butt pressed into his side. He was unable to get back to sleep even though by his estimation he'd only gotten about four or five hours of shut-eye. Which were becoming his pattern of slumber.

It had been a busy night as evidenced by the small pile of ripped foil on his nightstand. Just like the three nights before.

But every time he'd shifted, he'd awakened.

And every time he woke, he just had to have her again.

Where he was welcomed with open lips, arms and legs. That was no different than the previous nights either.

Maybe tonight was different because she was the one that had initiated their play when she'd turned to him in the kitchen and pushed his shirt up and off. When she'd stripped down and bent over the cabinet, presenting her perfect ass for his admiration and delighted use.

Goddamn, she was something!

There had been times during the night where they'd taken care of other business they hadn't gotten around to before. To share a sandwich and a beer. To talk about her filing the insurance claim and to go shopping to replenish her family's wardrobe. Which had almost found them in their first fight since she'd been unwilling to accept him paying for whatever she was going to buy.

"It's going to take time for the insurance to fork out the fucking green, Tex." She'd quieted down at his logic.

"I'll pay you back when the money comes in, Trey." Not fucking likely. He took care of what was his and Dallas was most definitely his. However, he'd known better than to argue the point further.

He was going to check on the empty properties when he hit the clubhouse for the morning's meeting. The thought of Miller and Mary going back to the house, even if it was cleaned and decked out by the Honeys was something that made Trey's skin crawl. Once Mary was released, he wanted the disabled couple in a place where he and his brothers could keep an eye on them.

And wanted it to be only a one-bedroom so he could ensure Dallas stayed exactly where he needed her to be. With him and in his bed.

There was light beginning to peek through a crack in one of the curtains. He lazily let his mind roam over the other items he needed to think about in his personal life, knowing the rest of the morning would be spent on club business.

Pushing Dallas's dad to sign up for the free programs to help him and his wife to live independently. Seeing about keeping Drake at the compound, getting his GED and then having him apprentice at Hellion Construction instead of going back to his old high school, friends and fucked up life. Taking Dallas to meet his folks and then picking out a ring she could wear that wouldn't interfere with her job.

Wait…what?

Where the fuck did
that
thought come from?

Marriage? Oh, fuck no. He'd sworn off that yoke years ago. No fucking way was he willing to slide into the goddamn quicksand of that particular quagmire.

However.

He wanted Dallas tied to him. Wrapped up so tight there'd be no doubt who she was with, who'd claimed her. Who she damn well fucking belonged to!

You're a fucking Neanderthal
, he told himself ruefully. And he knew the object of his desire would kick his ever-loving ass if he ever announced she belonged to him, especially in those terms. Shit, within hearing distance.

She turned and snuggled into his side, a leg draping over his thighs as her hand slid around his middle. "Can't sleep, sweetie?" He liked the roughness in her dawn whisper.

"I'm good. Just thinking," he replied and dropped a kiss on the top of her head.

"Dangerous," came the murmur and he felt her relax against him as her eyes closed. He'd give her a few minutes and then get up to start their morning something that was becoming a habit. Just like she was.

In the meantime, he'd try and figure out if she'd like a diamond or something more colorful.

For the fourth time that week, I woke up to delicious smells and couldn't help but smile before I'd even opened my eyes. I liked the fact Trey cooked.

In fact, there wasn't much about the man I didn't like and the more I got to know him, the more that 'like' was morphing into something else. An emotion I was unwilling to name but was building nonetheless.

It seemed awfully fast though.

Was that normal?
I asked myself.

I knew from the stories my parents told that it had been pretty quick when they'd gotten together. Three months from their first date to them standing before a judge. But I'd only been around Trey a couple of weeks. A stressful couple of weeks.

Don't over analyze it. Just go with the flow
, my mind instructed.

But he bellows 'mine' every time he comes with you
, my heart reminded.

Standing at the stove, he was looking just as yummy as he had the other mornings, only instead of sleep pants, he had on well-worn, low strung jeans I found were only partially buttoned as I inveigled myself underneath his arm and tilted my head up for my morning kiss.

When he raised his head, he said something that hit me at my knees. Something that referred back to what he'd said on our condom-less night and had devastated me then, too.

"Every fucking inch, Tex. Inside and out."

I ducked my head and went to get a cup of coffee, topping his up before going to the breakfast bar. It wasn't long and he was setting a plate of pancakes and sausage in front of me along with a bottle of syrup. "Thanks, sweetie."

I got a long slow stroke down my back in reply as he sat down next to me with his own platter piled high.

"Plans?" he asked between one huge shovelful of goodness and the next.

"I'm going to the hospital first and then I'll go shopping." Even I could hear how my voice changed in the middle of the sentence.

"Not into the mall? I thought that's what chicks fucking live for." I snuck a glance at him to see if he was serious. And felt my temper stir when I saw that he was.

Asshole!

"That may or may not be true. Let's just say, I'm not one of them." I tried to keep my voice light but the tightness bled through.

"Uh-oh. Think I pushed somebody's button with that one. Getting your panties in a bunch, Tex?"

I took a bite big enough to ensure I didn't have to answer.

"Okay. Tell you what. I'll swing by the hospital and we'll go do it together. How does that sound?" He'd moved his hand from his leg to the back of my stiff neck, using his thumb to stroke the side. The man didn't play fair since his action directly ensured I'd lose my pissy attitude.

I nodded and began spearing another bite.

"Need you to convince your folks about getting outside help, Dallas." The abrupt change in both my mood and the conversation was almost too fast for me to follow. "There are so many programs set up to assist people in their circumstances that are either free or for a small fee."

I swallowed as I thought. "I'll try. But they're kind of stubborn about the charity thing."

"Then remind them that they paid into it in the past with your dad's service in the Navy and their taxes."

At my glance, he quickly explained. "Had the same shit with my folks. The same argument only I didn't let it go and kept on them until they got the help they needed."

"Your folks?"

"Yeah. My dad had heart issues and until he had his quadruple bypass, he was a mess. Almost bedridden. About drove my mom out of her fucking mind. But the in-home nurses helped. A lot. A fucking lot." I liked how his voice softened when he talked about his family.

"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" We'd talked about personal stuff but had never gotten around to some of his past.

"One of each. Brother's an attorney in North Carolina. Sister and her brood live local."

I sat back in my chair unable to even think about taking another bite. "Those were the best pancakes I've ever had." His eyes were warm over the rim of his coffee cup and I caught a glimpse of a dimple.

"I'll take care of the kitchen and figure out where I put the spare key while you get ready, pretty girl." I was getting my man was uncomfortable with compliments. He'd accept thanks but when the gratitude crossed a specific spot, he'd deflect it. "Also, there's no need to pack your shit."

"There isn't?" I halted my glide off the chair, twisting to look back at him.

"No."

I could only blink as my mind struggled to make sense of what he was, in essence, saying. I didn't need to pack my stuff because if the last few nights were becoming a routine then I'd only be back later.

Be back at the house and in his bed.

I simply nodded, keeping the fist pumps and ass wiggles to myself as I took my plate and cup to the sink.

But I couldn't help my ear to ear smile at the knowledge I would be the one sleeping next to him every night.

Chapter Nineteen

Trey banged the gavel again to try and gain control back from the room for the third time during HMC's normal Sunday morning meeting. Everyone was in high spirits and it showed.

"So our efforts weren't wasted the other night then?" His voice overrode the bits of back and forth being called out as he questioned what Si had announced earlier.

"Not at fucking all. According to Chief Taylor's man, there were 37 arrests which were split between solicitation and intent to distribute. Which if we'd called 'em in sooner would've been fucking closer to the fifty mark." The big man's head shone in the overhead lighting. "Their gratitude was of the delightedly shocked variety."

"Which is a testament to us all," someone from the back yelled.

"Hear-hear," Huff boomed and was echoed by even more voices.

"What about the squirrely dealer who squealed so sweetly?" Brand asked.

"The list of names proved out and did, indeedy lead straight back to Fat Jack and his bulldog bitch sister who January said is named, of all things, Daisy," Dare recapped.

"January?" Trey asked, trying to place the name but failing.

"Cement tits," Dare shot back, bronze inching over his cheeks. "Though she swears they're fucking real."

"Yeah, right," Dice called with a laugh. "Just don't break a finger on 'em."

"Or a fucking tooth," Snake advised, causing the room to erupt yet again. Trey was gonna have to get through the next bit fast or their meeting was going to descend into a full on party. Something that used to happen more often than not.

"Where are we on getting a bead on the boy-toy, Bish?"

"Nowhere, man. The VIN came back as stolen in Wyoming. But here's a bit of doing we didn't know. The Ghosts have been recruiting and are beginning to behave more like a club and less like a bunch of party-whores. Heard from a friend of a friend there's a goddamn new chop-shop on the other side of Uni that is doing brisk business. Especially at night. And all manned by men sporting the Ghost cut."

"It would be no work to trick out a foreign job if you had both the place and the means," Brand added.

"I need a team to work recon to confirm as well as to get all the fucking available intel on that. While their location takes them outside Hellion's area, if they're organizing we need to know what's doing there. Volunteers?" Trey wasn't surprised to see almost every hand in the air before he even finished speaking. "Snake, Dice and Jay. Report back to Huff as soon as you have enough info to make it worth our while."

He let his eyes roam over the group and saw the twitches. "With no other business, I call this meeting adjourned." He let the gavel fall from his fingers as soon as it sounded.

The council, as usual, met him at his table but he could tell they were anxious to get out into the bright sunshine as much as everyone else. "We've got a staff meeting tomorrow morning so as far as I'm concerned, outside of tonight's patrols, we're all off for the day."

"Actually, Prez, because of the previous happenings, I ordered patrols all day," Brand advised.

"Good thinking, amigo. Any activity?"

"None." Trey could hear a note of pride in Brand's voice. He knew his brother, who had formerly been an agent with the ATF, had agreed with him about bringing in the law when it came to the illegal activity in their area.
