Since our falling out, Frazer has taken to sleeping on the sofa. I’m not sure how I feel about that, but with the distance between us right now I don’t feel I can ask him for a shag.

The bathroom and the main bedroom have had a lick of paint too, and I’ve hung some new curtains at the bedroom window. At least the bedroom windows and walls have seen some action.

I’m not getting anywhere with Troy, either. They’re filming his main scenes and he’s on set all the time, morning ‘til night.

So all in all I’m actually looking forward to the dance at the village hall tonight and my date with Jimmy. It dawns on me that I made the date with him because I felt sorry for him, but actually I have the same luck with fellas as he does with ladies, and at least he has a six-pack going for him.

I decide to have a pamper day and go all out to look as good as I can for Jimmy, who has insisted on coming to pick me up, even though it’s only a short walk.
Actually
, I think to myself,
that short walk in heels isn’t such a good idea - thank God Jimmy has brains
. Wow. See, my date has brains and a six-pack. I just need him to not hunch over and maybe cut his hair...

I’m hovering around the door, waiting, when Frazer comes into the room. I take a sharp intake of breath as he steals it away.

He’s dressed in dark black trousers that hug every single contour of his deliciously firm legs, and a grey shirt that hangs outside his trousers. He’s left just the top button undone and I can see a sprinkling of his dark chest hair. His chin is cleanly shaven and his thick hair is styled perfectly.

All of a sudden I don’t want to date Jimmy tonight. I don’t want to leave the cottage at all.

Frazer is standing in front of me, his eyes roaming my body. He takes a step closer to me and...

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I point to the door. “That will be my date for the dance.”

“You’d better answer it then. I’ll get out of the way.”

With that Frazer turns and dashes back upstairs.

I answer the door and take a step backwards. Jimmy’s hair is neatly cut. He’s wearing a white shirt (tucked in), a tie and dark grey jeans. His shirt is tight enough to highlight his definition. He’s also standing tall. I’m going to have a bad neck.

“Your carriage awaits, Madam.”

I turn my gaze away from him in the direction of his pointing hand. Just down the lane is a horse and carriage!

“Oh my God, Jimmy. I feel like Cinderella.”

“Your first village dance should be special and if you’re only here a couple of weeks, even more reason.”

“Thank you, Jimmy.”

“No. Thank you.” He lifts my hand and kisses it. “For making me realise I can rise above the village idiot’s stupidity.”

‘You’re definitely rising above,’
I think as I strain my neck to look at him again.

The dance is amazing until the alcohol hits and then everyone seems to go berserk. I’ve been dancing the night away. No-one gets exclusivity at a village dance; you have to keep changing partners. So I’ve danced with Jimmy, Troy and even Frank, though he did feel my ass. The only person I haven’t danced with is Frazer, who has never left the DJ booth and hasn’t looked my way all evening.

Whatever.

The first rumpus comes between Trevor, who’s been serving the drinks, and my mother, who was supposed to be helping.

“Get out,” Trevor yells, just as there’s a pause between songs. We all turn to stare.

“Calm down, Trevor.”

“Calm down? Do you think you could serve someone else a drink instead of yourself?”

“You told me to help myself when I moved in.”

“To the odd drink, not the whole chuffing lot. You’re costing me a fortune.”

My mother fixes Trevor with a look. “Am I not worth it?”

Oh, not again.

Trevor goes puce. My mother walks out from behind the bar. “I thought you were a gentleman, but instead you’ve dishonoured me in front of all these people.” She puts a finger to her eye and dashes out as if she’s in distress.

I excuse myself and run after her, only to find she’s burst into the first cubicle to reveal Troy with his trousers around his ankles and what indeed is a pierced cock, currently being serviced by Tiffany.

“Hey there, doll,” he says to me and guides Tiff’s head back to his dick.

Reeling, I stumble out of the female toilets and decide if we’re mixing it up then I’ll go and piss in the men’s. I leave my mother, who’s decided she’ll still pee in the cubicle next to the blow job.

As I walk into the men’s, Jimmy, who’s had a few pints, follows me in there. The room is thankfully empty. He guides me away from the god awful smell of urine from the trough and into a cubicle where he decides to play tonsil tennis.

He’s not awful, but–actually-no, sorry, he is awful. I don’t want to destroy his confidence but what do I do when he’s just not doing it for me?

Then he grabs hold of my hand and places it on his trousers.

I pull away from him.

“Listen,” he says. “I’m… well, I’ve, erm, not done this before.”

Holy crap on a cracker. He’s a virgin. What would Kathy say? Do I deflower him? That gains me experience points and does him a favour. But I don’t fancy him.

I can’t believe my next action.

“Could you just stay exactly there for a moment? I’ll be back.”

“Ah, of course. Protection. I forgot that. The machine’s broken in here.”

“Ye-eas. That’s it. Protection.”

I dash out of the male loos and search out my mother for advice. I told you I couldn’t believe my next action.

“Of course you can’t bonk him just because he’s a virgin, you silly girl. What would Frazer think?”

“What’s Frazer got to do with it?”

She gives me a shake of her head. “For God’s sake. You go and spend some time with Frazer and get him away from that DJ box. Someone else can take over. Let the lad enjoy himself a bit. He looks miserable as sin. I’ll go into the gents and let Jimmy know you aren’t coming.”

“Thanks, Mum.”

“That’s what mothers are for.” She sighs.

Full of relief, I run over to the DJ stand, dragging Jerry behind me. “Hey, DJ. Put on Whitney’s
I Wanna Dance With Somebody
and then let Jerry here have a turn on the decks.”

“Where’s Jimmy?” asks Frazer, looking behind me.

“Being let down gently in the loos by my mother. I was too chicken to do it myself, so I sent her.”

Frazer gives a few instructions to Jerry and jumps down onto the dance floor. He grins at me and winks. “Time to show you my moves, Daise.”

The next fifteen or so minutes are the highlight of the dance. Frazer can indeed move and I feel like we’re Johnny and Baby, though he doesn’t try and lift me up. All is well until my mother re-appears, with Jimmy in tow. Though no-one else appears to notice, my mother’s blouse is on inside-out. Jimmy looks like he’s celebrated six birthdays and six Christmases at once. Oh dear God, she didn’t?

She winks at me.

She fucking did.

“Mother.” I pull her to one side. “Your blouse is on inside-out.”

“Oops.” She laughs. “Be back in a tick.”

While she’s gone, an old guy stumbles through the hall doors. He’s dressed in tweed, including a flat-cap. He has a belly that hangs above his trousers. You can barely see his face for the flat-cap, plus a moustache and beard. He’s swigging from a whisky bottle and does a bit of a jig down the hall.

“Are you all enjoying the party, ya’ bastards?” he shouts. “Where’s my invite? I only fucking own most of the place.”

My mum comes back out of the loos, spots the interloper and starts working her way around the edge of the room, and somehow ends up in front of him.

“Good evening. I don’t believe we’ve met.” She flicks her hair.

“Lord Beydon,” he bellows. “Why have I not been invited?”

“I have no idea,” my mother purrs. “I’m new to the area. Maybe we could get acquainted?”

He holds out a hand to her and she takes it.

I’ve totally had enough of the village dance. I turn to Frazer. “Please can you fuck me so hard I forget this evening’s events thus far?”

“As long as you remember the ones after,” he replies.

***

Of course I can’t walk back in my towering heels, so Frazer picks me up and holds me over his shoulder.

“Oh my God. Put me down. People are going to see my arse.”

“There’s no one here.” He smacks it. “I’m the only one going to see that arse. I’ve been dreaming about it all night.”

“But you never even looked at me.”

“You’re mistaken. I tried not to. Dear God, Daisy. When I came downstairs and saw you. All wrapped up in red silk like a present. I was about to unwrap you. Then that bloody dolt turned up at the door. I watched you from the upstairs window. Cursed at how he’d thought about the horse and carriage. Thought I’d, well, erm, lost my shag.”

Bunk-up, bunk-up, bunk-up.
That’s all we are
, I remind myself.

Through the door, Frazer continues to walk through the downstairs and carries me up to the bedroom where he lays me down on my front. His thighs slide either side of my body as he unzips my dress and pulls it off me.

“Usually gifts are disappointing when unwrapped, but that isn’t the case here. Stay there,” he says.

I wonder what he’s up to as I hear the sounds of drawers being opened and closed from downstairs.

“Do not turn around, Miss Harlow,” he instructs.

He pulls my knickers down and off and rubs his hand over my buttock. Then he smacks it with an unknown object.

“Ow.”

I spin around to see Frazer grinning at me, a wooden spoon in his hand.

“For real? You just hit me with a wooden spoon?”

“Tell me you didn’t like it and I’ll stop.”

I keep quiet.

“That’s what I thought, you dirty tart.”

“Can we use the handcuffs too?” I pout.

Frazer glances at the glued-on bedpost. “I tell you what. If we can buy or make a new headboard we can play with those again, but right now, I like my eye not being blackened.”

He strips off his own clothes while I cast off my bra. Then he lays me across his lap so my ass is across his knee.

He smacks me again with the spoon.

It stings, but this time I try not to shout ‘ow’ as it’s a bit of a passion killer.

Frazer rubs his hand over where he’s hit my cheek and then he moves his hand between my legs where he spreads my wetness around my pussy (still feels strange calling my foo that).

He repeats his ministrations, but this time smacks my other ass cheek. How the fuck am I being turned on by a wooden spoon?

He then rubs the spindle of the wooden spoon between my legs. I swear my pussy purrs.

“Hmmm, like playing with the spoon, do we?”

“If anyone ever asks me if they can spoon, it will never seem quite the same,” I murmur.

He turns me around and lays me back on the bed and spreads my legs wide. Then holding the largest part of the spoon in his hand he gently smacks my clitoris with the other end.

“Oh my God.”

“It’s no good, I can’t cope with those groans of yours any longer,” Frazer utters, putting on a condom and plunging into me.

I wrap my legs around him to enjoy him deeper. The headboard hits the wall with each almighty thrust. As I grab hold of the post behind me to steady myself, there’s a click.

“Frazer!” I yell.

We both stay very still, looking at the post that’s in my hand once again.

Frazer takes it off me and throws it on the floor.

“That’s it. New bed tomorrow. My heart and eye can’t take it. Now where were we?”

Chapter Twenty

Daisy

“So
.
” Sam eyes me from where she sits opposite me on the small table outside the café. It’s her day off and she called round to the cottage and dragged me out. “You and Frazer?”

She’s not exactly what I would call a friend, but she’s the only one round here that doesn’t seem only interested in the local gossip. She’s just informed me that she’s been seeing Jimmy, so it’s now obviously my turn to share some information.

“Me and Frazer?” I act innocent as I take a sip of my latte and move my eyes to the duck pond and hunt for Tiffany. “What about us?”

“Oh
,
come on, Daisy
.
I saw you both tear out of the dance like your arses were on fire.”

There’s a movement in the middle of the pond and I narrow my eyes, peering closer. A ripple spreads outwards from the very centre and the ducks quack in unison, each one taking flight and disappearing into the nearest tree they can find.
