Her knight in shining leather.

She was warmed from the inside out that she saw sitting in the sidecar of his motorcycle her beloved dog Beau being such a trooper riding in the vehicle.

Savannah did not think she could feel more love than at that moment. She was brimming full of emotions for her man and her pet. She didn’t wait for the nurse to wheel her outside. She ditched the chair and scurried to the bike. Foley released Beau’s seatbelt, and the dog bounded toward her. Savannah dropped, and let the big dog head butt up against her shoulder as she hugged him. The world would have thought that she had been gone an entire week the way her dog greeted her.

Foley extended his arm for her to grab hold of as he helped her to his feet. They never took their eyes off of one another. She raked her fingers through his luscious hair, guiding his head towards hers to kiss him. Beau was silly, brushing his large body up against her legs as Foley and Savannah made out. Finally, he broke the kiss.

“I love you, baby.”

“I love you, too.”

“Let’s go home,” she whispered finally.

“We can go to your place but this guy kind of likes it at mine. Would you like to come over?” he asked.

“I would love that,” she said. “Thank you,” she said. “For everything.”

The three of them loaded up on the bike with the sidecar and went to Foley’s place. Savannah couldn’t stop smiling. She couldn’t be happier.
