Winter / Near Fouke, Arkansas – A coonhunter encounters a hairy “creature of immense size” late at night while hunting with his dog. It made a hissing sound and splashed water on the hunter while making deep, throaty sounds. TBRC.

Near Fouke, Arkansas – Hunter comes face-to-face with a large, ape-like creature while hunting near Mercer Lake.

2001
Near Fouke, Arkansas (Jonesville) – Two young girls encounter a “hairy monster” while riding bikes in the evening hours. When they returned home and told their mother, she contacted the authorities.

2003
March / Near Harleton, Texas / 50 miles from Fouke – A driver sees a large hairy creature standing within 100 yards of the road at dusk. According to the witness, the creature “crossed the highway in three strides.” TBRC.

2004
August / Near Atlanta, Texas / 27 miles from Fouke – While driving at night on Highway 56 towards Atlanta, a motorist sees a “huge beast” with six-to-eight-inch-long brown hair stepping over a barbed-wire fence. TBRC.

2005
October / Near Caddo Lake, Texas / 33 miles from Fouke – Hunter encounters a large, hair-covered figure just before dawn. The creature stood more than six feet tall and was observed from a distance of only 10 yards. TBRC.

2006
May / Lewisville, Arkansas / 20 miles from Fouke – At sundown while fishing, a man sees an eight-foot-tall creature covered in orange-brown hair 50 yards away. It made a sound described as cross between “a cow bellow and a panther.” TBRC.

2007
June / Hempstead County, Arkansas / 30 miles from Fouke – Two teenagers hear loud knocking in the trees while fishing in a pond near a large pasture. At dusk, a large, hairy, ape-like creature ran from the woods into the pond and “began swinging its arms violently.” The creature was covered in long, reddish-brown hair with a thick neck and very long arms. 2010
May / Fouke, Arkansas – While driving late one evening, a married couple sees a large, hairy creature run on two legs across the road. Light precipitation was falling, but the figure was visible in the headlights as it made its way across the pavement and into the trees beyond. The couple turned the car around to get a better look but was only able to get one final glimpse of the creature standing in the trees before it disappeared in the darkness.
