“I guess fate just decided we needed each other.” Tyler kissed the top of her head and the little family headed to the bedroom to sleep after their long day.

Chapter nineteen

The newlyweds spent a week in the penthouse relaxing having fun and making love. During their week together Bryan took the lead at work so Tyler had nothing to worry about. Because their courtship
and subsequent marriage happened so fast there were many things that needed to be decided. Some of their time was spent deciding where they would sell both homes and buy a new.

They took the last day of their honeymoon to talk to a realtor
. That was all it took. After telling the
realtor what they wanted he showed them one place and they fell in love
. It was perfect. A place they could make their home together. It
was amazing!

“I can’t believe how big it is! Do we really need a five story townhouse?” Walking through the home Jenna was pretty much at a loss for words. The home was five stories six bedrooms a huge kitchen that she would have a wonderful time cooking in and it even had small outdoor space for Oscar to run around in.

“I think that it is perfect. There is an office for me and don’t tell me that bedroom upstairs with all that light coming in the huge windows wouldn’t be perfect for you to work in.” Tyler took her hand while they walked through the home. “

“There are a ton of shops and places for you to go only a block away so you don’t have to worry about going to far.” He could see how much she liked the place by her smile. While she wondered farther into the home again Tyler talked to the relator about making an offer.

On the way home they stopped for lunch and took a nice walk in central park. With her hand in Tyler’s
she looked around and just savored the beauty of the park when it was snowing. Jenna rested her head on his shoulder as they walked.

“So what did the realtor say? Does he think they will accept the offer?
Are you sure you like it? I hope
you’re
not just making an offer on that obscenely expensive house just for me.” The couple stopped and Tyler took her gloved hands in his.

“Jen princess calm down,
Kevin thinks the offer will be accepted very quickly. The house h
as been on the market for a very
long time. I love the house it is beautiful and perfect for us and it
’s even closer to my office than the penthouse. But you know I would do anything to make you happy right?”
He moved his hands up to her cheeks and kissed her.

“Now let’s get you home you are shivering and I want to have a nice quiet night in with my wife before I have to go back to work tomorrow.” He let her into the waiting SUV, then climbed in next to her. He told the driver to take them home.

Tyler woke up and reluctantly released his wife from his arms and turned off his alarm clock. With a heavy sigh he rolled out of bed so could get ready to head into the office and take the reins back from h
is brother. He stepped under the warm spray in the shower and thought how he used to like to wake up early and get to the office. Now all he wanted to do was stay home. After his shower he wrapped a towel around his lean waist and shaved.
At least in the new house he could put a small gym in there so he could work out at home instead of going after work.

When he came back into the bedroom Jenna wasn’t were he left her, the only one in bed was Oscar who looked utter pissed off that
the couple dared to wake him.
He smiled at the dog Tyler walked into the closet and quickly dressed.

Jenna was in the kitchen making coffee and breakfast for Tyler when he walked in. He looked so cute with his still damp hair while he tied his tie. She was wearing a pair of yoga pants and a tank top. She giggled when
he playfully pulled her ponytail and kissed her.

“What are you doing awake? You shouldn’t get up just because I do. Take your cue from Oscar.” He grabbed a pair of coffee cups from the cabinet and walked back over to her.

“He really is a spoiled little thing isn’t he? I got up to make breakfast for my husband before he goes off to the office. I wouldn’t want Helena to think I don’t know how to take care of my man.” She poured them both
coffees
then put two bowls with yogurt fresh fruit and granola on the table.

“I slept in a little today
. I usually go in a little early on Mondays to check all the papers from the weekend. You know weekends are the busiest days of the week for hoteliers.
I don’t want you to wake up early for me all the time.” Even as he said the words he had to admit there was a certain selfish part of him that liked the idea of seeing her up and smiling at him every morning before he left for work.

“I need to get back on some sort of a schedule anyway. Being off schedule is a little hard for me. It can make me a little anxious. I also wanted to get some things done today. I was thinking of calling my therapist. Some of my medicines need a refill and I haven’t talked to him in
a while
.” She smiled then leaned in closer and gave a stage whisper.

“You
know I have had a few big changes in my life recently.” She held her fingers up to her lips as if to tell him to hush up.

“God you’re a nut. I love it, I love you and this granola is banging. Is this what you were working on last night?” Eating another bite and licking his lips he waited for her reply.

“Yup
it is actually easy to make granola. Emma used to make it for me and the Winchesters. She would even make it into bars for snacks.
It’s healthier than cookies and junk food.” After she grabbed her favorite chocolate mint creamer for her coffee she dug into her breakfast as well.

The couple made small talk and finished their breakfast.
When they were done Jenna put the dishes in the dishwasher and walked Tyler to the door.
While she wrapped his scarf around his neck she kissed him.

“I am going to lunch with Sara today and then I am going to run and do some food shopping. I also have to drop off some dry cleaning and
then I was going to start going through some of the sketches I started in London to see what to do with them.” She kissed him once more and he headed out the door.

“I will call you later. Don’t
overdo
it we have had a crazy couple of weeks.” With that he winked and got on the elevator.

After Tyler left Jenna
called Dr. Borden and was able to get an appointment for that morning.
She took
her time to get ready for her day.
After taking
a shower and braided her hair and got dressed in a pair of her distressed skinny jeans with a cute blue shirt she found in a shop in London. It is a beautiful blue that made her think of Tyler
’s eyes it is long sleeved with draping around the shoulders that gave it a different
and stylish look. She
finished her outfit with a pair of her high heel suede booties and some clunky silver jewelry, and then
looked in the mirror to make sure everything looked ok.

Jenna called the number Ty gave her for the chauffer and grabbed the things she needed to run her errands.
First they dropped off the dry cleaning and then headed to Dr. Borden’s office. Jenna went into the office telling her driver Adam that she would be an hour and he could come back and get her.

Dr. Elizabeth Boren was pleased to see Jenna doing so well. She had been seeing her since she was 12 years old. Jenna tried her hardest to be independent but knew the importance of taking her meds and visiting Dr. Borden from time to time to talk about things. Jenna would also go to a support group from time to time because she felt it important to share the good times and the bad times with other people who suffered from anxiety and panic.

Jenna had not spoken to Elizabeth since before she and Tyler got engaged. So the doctor was a little shocked that things had happened so quickly.

“Tell
me how you are Jenna, how are you feeling with so many big changes so fast. Not to mention a trip out of the country! I am pleased and shocked to hear about all this.” Elizabeth sat across from her and smiled waiting to hear the romantic tale.

“It was amazing. First my
gorgeous
boss tells me he wants to date me. Then after just a short time of dating I meet his parents. I have to tell you I had a huge panic attack after that. I heard them say some things about how different we were and how wrong I was for him and I just freaked out.” Jenna sipped the tea she had been given when she sat down and fought back tears at the memory of that night.

“How did Tyler deal with that?
It was your first panic attack around him
wasn’t
it?”
Making a quick note on her pad the doctor handed Jenna a tissue.

“Well when I felt the panic coming I got out of there. I barely made it home and that’s all I remember. I was home on my couch just lost in my head and the next thing I know Tyler is there. He got the key from Sara and came to me. He took care of me.” She
laughed
to herself and continued.

“He even took care of Oscar. He walked the dog and locked up the house. Then he came to me and
lay
with me all night. I slept in his arms and I felt so safe. It felt right.” Jenna wiped away a tear at the memory.

“That
is amazing. I am so happy for you. I have never heard you talk about someone like this. So how did you go from that to married so quickly?” Elizabeth sipped her own coffee and let Jenna take her time responding.

“The day after my panic attack we actually had dinner with h
is family at the café and got to know each other it was great. I am not going to tell you we left as best friends but it was better. After that things were awesome. We were inseparable.
He took me on this wonderful weekend away. I actually went to a concert in Atlantic City! We had a great time and he
held
my hand. I was fast learning that just having him near me is like him giving me strength. While we were there he got a call from his brother
saying he was needed in London. He asked me to come and I said yes, not only did I say yes but I said it so fast it was weird.” Jenna paused and sipped her tea.

“I was fine for a week
. I studied up on England I packed and unpacked and packed again. I had Oscars stuff ready for his puppy sitter. But then, it went bad. One night I just freaked out. I couldn’t handle the thought of leaving the country. I haven’t had a panic attack that bad since Emma died. He held me and
didn’t try to calm me I guess he knew it was pointless.” Her voice trembled and Elizabeth leaned closer putting her hand on the younger woman’s knee.

“It’s ok Jenna take your time.” Reassuringly she coaxed Jenna to finish.

“The next morning I thought it was over. He had now seen me at my worst and he was done, that’s what I thought when I heard him on the phone with Dean. But I was wrong
. He proposed!”
She held her hand out to show off her beautiful ring.

“We
went to London and were married at the most beautiful British estate. It was just us along with his mom dad brother and sister
in-law
along with the Winchester and the couple who owned the estate. It was so perfect! I feel so good with Tyler. I feel safe and he is just so good to me.
We had a small hiccup in London with him being overprotective but we have some things to learn about each other still. And now that we are back here we bought a beautiful townhouse and he even got me a driver so I can explore and not be alone.” Jenna beamed as she told the doctor about her happiness.

“I am happy for you Jenna I really am and I hope you will keep learning and growing in your relationship.” The woman smiled at each other.

After her session with Dr. Borden Jenna went and picked up some sushi and headed to the gallery to have lunch with Sara and discussed her next art showing.
After a nice lunch with her friend Jenna headed home to do some work.

Chapter twenty

Tyler and Jenna fell into a nice routine. Jenna would get up with Tyler and get him off to work, then work on some art before doing anything that needed to be done. Tyler had wanted to hire a housekeeper to take some work away from her but she told him she like the normalcy of it, the way it felt so domestic and right to take care of the home she shared with her husband. They had been contacted two days after making their offer on the townhouse that they were now the proud owners of their first home as a couple.

Jenna got right to work collecting ideas on how to decorate each room and even how she wanted the small garden area to look. She also had to put the brownstone on the market and get started clearing it out. She and Tyler had decided to start from scratch so they were going to donate their furniture and things they no longer needed to a few charities that would benefit from the things. The part that Jenna wasn’t really looking forward to was going through all of Emma’s things. She would have to make sure that Tyler or Sara was able to help her with that so she wouldn’t have to do it alone.
