“You’re pregnant?” Adrian asked, sounding very excited.

Sophie nodded. “I haven’t been to the doctor yet, but those stick test things are supposed to be acc—” Her words cut off as Malcolm pulled her into his embrace, wrapping her against him, apparently trying to hide how much he was affected by Sophie’s news.

“Thank you, Sophie. I love you,” he said in a deeply emotional tone.

“Remember that when the baby is screaming and you’re trying to sleep,” she said affectionately.

Alex grinned. It was obvious that Malcolm and Adrian were very pleased, but it was the beautiful smile Sophie gave him when she stepped into his embrace that had his heart squeezing.

“I really was enjoying watching Bianca’s scene,” she said, pressing a kiss to his throat. “I would have said something beforehand if I’d realized the
morning
sickness was going to hit me this time of night. Can you make sure Bianca, Viper, and Brick know that this experience wasn’t related to their scene?”

“Of course, little sub,”

“Do you think it would be rude if we didn’t go back to the club?”

He smiled and lifted her into his arms, happier than he could ever remember being. “I’m sure the others will understand,” he said as he stepped toward the bedroom they already shared, the routine movement seeming somehow momentous. They were going to have a baby, and that was certainly something to celebrate.

Adrian watched his brother, his best friend, and the woman he would forever love as they rejoiced her pregnancy.

Only six months ago he’d believed he wasn’t ready to settle down, but now everything was different. They were at the beginning of a new phase in their lives and he couldn’t imagine a better place to be.

“I love you, little sub,” he said as they stepped into the bedroom and Alex put her down. With a wide grin she stepped into Adrian’s arms.

“I love you, too, Sir,” she said with a smile. He pulled her closer as the news started to sink in. They were going to have a baby. They were going to be a family. He glanced at Malcolm and Adrian and realized that it didn’t matter who the biological father was. This child would be loved and adored by all three of them. A son, or maybe a daughter.

A daughter?

He laughed softly.

Heaven help them all if she was as adorable as her mother.
