“She passed away a couple of years ago. Her heart finally gave out.”

If you’d hung around or kept in touch then you would have known she died
,
you bastard
.

“She was a really nice lady,” Steve mumbled. His brows were scrunched with what she recognized as a look of disbelief. Rachel must have told them about Stacey because he looked a bit pale and shocked. Good old Steve was always the emotional one of the two, and his sensual spankings were fantastic foreplay.

“We truly are sorry to hear about Stacey,” Eric replied.

He looked calm and cool and she knew she should be acting that way too, especially since they’d been out of her life for more than two years and not a word from either of them.

“Rachel said you wanted your hair cut?” She was pleased her voice sounded professional. Not a hint of huskiness or shock at seeing them back in town. But boy, her tummy was doing some mighty sensual flips as she inhaled their scents.

Eric smelled of dominant spice that made her want to keep inhaling. Steve carried a gentle manly fragrance that had always captured her attention and lured her close to him. Their smells mingled with the leather scent from their jackets. It was a very intriguing combination.

“Maybe we should go somewhere else?” Steve said quickly. He must have picked up on her hostility despite her believing she’d covered it up.

“Why? Are you afraid I might cut off something that shouldn’t be cut off?”

Both men’s eyes widened at her comment. A couple of years ago she’d been timid and visibly non-emotional to their news they were leaving town but she’d had some time to get pissed off over it.

She forced herself to smile, although what she really wanted to do was ask them their reason for coming back to this town. Before leaving they’d made it clear they preferred to make big bucks on the dangerous newly built oil rigs off the coast of Newfoundland over staying here in this small town and keep spanking her.

“Don’t worry, gentlemen. No matter how much I’d like to do it, it would be very bad for business. So consider yourselves in safe hands. Who wants to go first?”

Wow, her voice sounded unnaturally perky.

Neither men said a thing and they appeared confused. Did they really expect that she would welcome them back with open arms? She did like the way their Adams Apple bobbed precariously as they swallowed. Hmm, was she making them nervous?

Good.

“Steve will go first,” Eric said as he nodded at Steve, who looked anything but relaxed as he shrugged out of his jacket and left it on a nearby chair and then reluctantly strolled toward her to sit in the chair she indicated.

She grabbed a neck strip and wrapped it around his neck, maybe a bit too tight, but who cared. Then she placed the cape. In the mirror, she spied Eric watching her with a coolness that unnerved her. She knew he lost that calm exterior when he was in pleasure mode and she fought to keep herself from remembering the hard contours of his body as he pushed his immense cock inside her.

Heck, it made her jittery just touching Steve’s velvety thick black hair. Gosh, he’d let it grow quite a bit. She’d never seen him with this much hair. How many times had she speared her fingers through his strands while she’d kissed him? Other times she grabbed his hair when she’d lain on him, his cock impaled deep in her pussy while Eric spanked her ass.

Heat swept through her. She cleared her throat and tried to concentrate on her job.

“How much did you want off?”

“The usual,” Steve replied.

“Short and sweet,” she said with a burst of happiness as she remembered how he and Eric used to come into the salon for their haircuts. It was how they’d first met and how they’d recognized her at the Key Club. That’s where they’d picked her up for a night of spanking sex her first night there.

But as Jewel had said earlier, the Club was more intense now. The owner had renovated the Club, making it more modern and bringing in more customers.

An awkward silence fell between the three of them as she swiftly dampened Steve’s hair using the spray bottle. Her fingers moved swiftly through his thick strands with an familiar expertise. She’d always loved the softness of his hair and how easily it fell into shape. From the counter she picked up her scissors and comb and set to work. She slid the comb through his hair and angled the scissors this way and that and quickly cut and snipped to give him the perfect cut.

Thankfully Eric moved to one of the seats in the waiting area and Steve said nothing as she worked.

Yet their eyes followed her every movement like she was the prey and they the daring predators. Steve’s scent continued to wrap around her, teasing her senses and keeping her inhaling deeply as she wanted to breath in every succulent inch of his smell. It was as if he’d never been gone. As if more than two years hadn’t passed. Instinctively she knew if they snapped their fingers, she would climb right back into bed with them and have her heart broken all over again when they left.

No, she couldn’t allow that to happen again. She would stay away from them. She would keep their visit strictly professional despite the yearnings to have them kissing and spanking and oh yes, fucking her.

Within minutes she’d finished his cut. A quick blow dry and he looked his old self again. Clean-cut and sexier than sin. As she brushed his nape, she caught him staring at her in the mirror. A satisfied smile tilted his lips. Perhaps because he was grateful both of his ears remained intact?

“Thanks, it is a perfect cut. As always” he said as she removed his cape and the neck strip.

“It’s my job,” she said tightly.

He nodded and moved to the waiting area. Her heart thumped insanely as Eric stood, removed his coat and then strolled over to sit in the chair.

“Same as usual,” he said as he stared directly at her in the mirror. His blue eyes gleamed with that sexual lust she remembered so well. Fevered heat whipped through her and she resisted the urge to fan her face just as Rachel had done earlier.

She dipped her scissors and comb into the disinfectant jar, and then grabbed a fresh, clean pair from her station countertop. As she placed the neck strip and cape, perhaps a bit too tightly if the grimace he tossed her was an indication, but too bad, he deserved a lot more.

Quickly she fell into the routine of dampening his hair and cutting and snipping. She was grateful he kept quiet so she could concentrate on the job at hand, although focusing on his haircut was quite difficult with him continuing to watch her every move in the mirror.

“Have you been to the Key Club lately?”

His unexpected question had her almost cutting her finger off as she lost momentary control of her scissors. She almost dropped them and a quick catch had her back to cutting his hair, although now her fingers were trembling visibly.

Damn!

“Sure, go there all the time,” she said truthfully.

The last thing she was going to admit to him that she’d tried many times to go back on Spank-Me nights without the two of them but she had always chickened out at the last minute. Instead she accompanied her friends there. But she hadn’t gotten involved with the guys at the Club opting to go out with safe and boring guys whom she met through those friends or here at the salon.

“Great, then we’ll see you there this weekend for the Spank-Me Ménage night?”

Was that hope she heard in his voice? Or was that just wishful thinking on her part?

She nodded numbly.

Oh my gosh! Had she just said she was going? Not good. So not good. She didn’t want them there. Didn’t want to watch them go off with some other woman.

She said nothing more. If she did speak, she knew her voice would betray her nervousness and he would tell she was lying about the Club, unless he already knew she was fibbing in the way she couldn’t meet his gaze.

The rest of the haircut proceeded with verbal silence but the body language from Eric was intense in the scorching way he continued to watch her. She knew because she snuck quick peeks into the mirror. By the time she finished, she was a jumble of wild want for a sizzling spanking, an incredible need for double penetration and irritated at herself for daring to feel these unwanted emotions.

She couldn’t get the cape off him quick enough.

As they paid her, neither men said anything and when they handed her an incredibly generous tip, she almost told them where to stuff it. But professionalism reigned her in and she said thank you. After they left, she quickly locked the door, hurried into her office and slumped wearily into her chair. Lifting her hand, she finally fanned her hot face.

Sweet mercy! How was she going to recuperate from this lusty heat infusing her? Damn them for coming back to town! Damn them for reigniting her sensual side!

“She hasn’t been back to a Spank-Me Ménage Night at all since we left,” Eric stated as they hopped into his truck where he’d parked it just outside the salon.

“What makes you say that?” Steve asked.

Eric snapped on his seat belt and then winked at his best friend who gazed at him with curiosity and anticipation. He couldn’t stop the hope from pummelling him too. Maybe they could get her back into their bed.

“She couldn’t look me in the eye when I asked her if she’d been there lately.”

Steve shook his head, not buying his answer.

“Maybe she was just being shy. That’s what attracted us to her in the first place, remember? She couldn’t make eye contact with us and it unleashed your predatory side and brought out my protective instincts.”

Steve was right, of course. Her lack of eye contact in the past had turned him on. He’d wanted to dominate her, fuck her into submission and make her belong to him. He’d done a pretty good job of it too, until that lucrative job offer at the oil rig had tempted them away.

When they’d told her they would be leaving, her reaction had been cold and distant. It was as if she hadn’t given two shits. Back then they had planned on asking her to come along with them and they would get her a place so they could see her during their time off the rig, but her don’t-give-a-damn attitude had wilted their enthusiasm. Today’s frosty reception just reinforced his idea that maybe she’d just been using them for her spank fetish. But something deep down inside him continued to hope he was wrong about Sophie.

He knew she’d had a rough childhood and she’d been shifted from foster home to foster home until Stacey had taken her as her foster child. He’d had a similar upbringing, being raised by uncaring relatives, and he thought he’d found a kindred spirit in her. He’d believed Sophie’s aloofness when it came to a close relationship was due to a lack of confidence. In the bedroom though, she’d been anything but shy, especially when they spanked her.

He ached to bend her over his knee and give her curvy ass cheeks a bunch of blushing smacks. In the past he’d enjoyed watching her butt redden and had loved her erotic moans and sweet gasps as he slapped her tender flesh. While he and Steve had been away they’d shared a couple of women, but they hadn’t held a candle to Sophie. She was the woman for them.

Regret pummelled him and he frowned. The old saying was true. They hadn’t known what they’d had in Sophie until they didn’t have her anymore. He aimed to make it right with her. Hopefully, it wasn’t too late.

Chapter Two

“Oh my gosh, what have you done?” Sophie asked the image of herself staring back at her from her full-length bedroom mirror.

The dress she’d purchased earlier today at Jewel’s Toy Shoppe smoothed over every one of her curves and it had turned her into a sensual stranger. At least from the neck down.

She had no idea she could look so…sexy. The built-in push up bra made her breasts look incredibly large. The way the dress was designed at the sides made her her waist appear much smaller. As she turned to gaze at her backside she gasped at how perfect her ass cheeks looked cradled by the material.

Something like this would have Steve and Eric taking notice if she went to that Spank-Me Ménage event.

Sophie shook her head.

No! She didn’t want to go back to having her heart broken again. Yes, she could have told Eric and Steve her true feelings about them, but she hadn’t been able to. The words just got stuck inside of her. She wasn’t a demonstrative person, at least not verbally and not when it came to intimate relationships. She just couldn’t say out loud the words I love you both. Please stay with me forever.

She knew her lack of verbal skills had everything to do with how she’d been raised. Sure, she’d had a couple of great foster homes, but they had been far and few between and short-lived. She’d also been with neglectful foster parents and those were the ones that had left the biggest, negative impact on her emotions and psyche. Some of the people she’d been placed with had only been in it for the money and they didn’t care about her. In those places she’d been instructed to keep her mouth shut.

So, she’d learned to keep quiet and keep her emotions bottled. Her lack of not speaking up for what she wanted had cost her Eric and Steve. So why was she so mad at them for leaving?
Because they should have known instinctively she wanted them
,
that’s why
. She knew it wasn’t the right way to think, but over the years she’d made it their fault, not hers that she’d let them go without protest. It had been easier to deal with that way.

Stacey had been trying to drill it into her for years to fight for what she wanted. Her words hadn’t fully taken effect until after the guys had left and Stacey had died shortly after. Then Sophie had been forced to once again fend for herself. A bubble of tears blurred her vision and a burst of anger made her swipe the irritating waterworks from her eyes.

No, she wasn’t going to start feeling sorry for herself or cry over them being back. She wasn’t going to think about what she had lost with them. She didn’t need them. She didn’t need anyone. She was perfectly fine all by herself. She had some good friends, her home, her business and money in the bank for security and that was all she needed.
