“Rebecca, I can tell
you are not being truthful.” He kisses my forehead and looks back into my eyes.
“Please tell me.”

“Okay. Okay. I freaked
out a little when you implied about other women being here. I know it's stupid
because it was in the past, but I don't like the idea of being here when other
women have...” I clear my throat before continuing, “fucked you here.” I lower
my eyes. “It just…hurts my heart. I know it sounds dumb.”

“Look at me, Rebecca.”
He bends down slightly to regain eye contact. “Nothing you feel is dumb. If you
are uncomfortable here, you don't have to stay.” Now he wants me to leave,
after wanting me so badly to come here? “I want you to stay, but I can see this
might be a problem… since you went pale and all.” He smiles, trying to make
light of the situation.

“I'm sorry, Drew. I
really don't know what's come over me.”

He places a kiss on my
nose. “You have nothing to be sorry for. Stop apologizing. I will gather some
things I need and stay with you tonight, if that's okay.” I nod. “At least come
and look at the rest of the place while you're here.” He stands and offers me
his hand to help me up. He doesn't let go and he takes me with him throughout
his apartment. Or is it a penthouse? Probably the latter.

He shows me his office
and it makes me smile when I remember him pacing around it during our first
texting conversation. It looks about the same as the rest of the house…black
and white and very sterile. I have a feeling that the rest of his place is much
of the same. Why would he pay so much money for a decorator to do the same
thing in every room? It would get nauseating to me.

He gathers his laptop
and some files, placing them in a briefcase. He returns to me and grabs my
hand, leading me to the master bedroom. More black and white and blah. I roll
my eyes as we enter his bedroom and he catches me. “Too much?” he asks.

I laugh out loud. “Oh,
my god, Drew. I can't believe you paid to see the same room over and over and
over again. It's really nauseating.”

He laughs. “Well, you
can decorate our place then.”

What did he just say?

“Come again?” I reply.

He snickers. “I said
that you can decorate our place. I'm going to put this place on the market
tomorrow.” He drops my hand and just moves around, gathering what he needs
while I just stand there.

“Why are you going to
sell it? Because
I
don't like it?” I question.

“Not because you don't
like it. I can always redecorate it. I'm going to sell it because you're not
comfortable here. And if
you're
not comfortable,
I'm
not
comfortable. If you aren't going to be here, neither am I.”

“You
are
crazy,”
I mutter. He just laughs and continues gathering his belongings.

“Can we go ahead and
eat here, since we're here? I'm sure you need to eat something before I take
you to bed,” he says with a mischievous grin.

“Yes. That's fine. And
you don't have to sell this place.”

He drops what he's
doing and comes to stand in front of me. His eyes are bright and penetrating me
to my bones. He reaches up to cup my face, just as he did before. “Rebecca. I
would do anything for you, but I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it for us.
When you decide to move in with me, it will be into our home. Ours together,
not tainted by my past or yours.”

A tear trickles down my
cheek at the sweetest words he's said to me so far. He catches my tear with his
thumb and swipes it across my cheek. I reach up and wrap my arms around his
neck and pull him down to me, crushing my lips to his. He moves his hands from
my face to my waist and pulls me in tighter. Then they travel down to my butt
and give a gentle squeeze, while he continues a little further down. He nudges
the backs of my thighs and I lift them willingly, holding on to my handsome
man. Can I say that he's my man? Yes, I believe I can.

I lick his bottom lip,
urging him to invite me in. Our tongues find each other and do their familiar
tango. We are so in sync. He walks forward and pins me against the wall. His
greedy hands don't have to hold me up anymore so they start finding their way
over my body. Caressing. Grabbing. Kneading. Anything he does to me intensifies
the fire and the ache between my legs. He breaks free of my kiss, leaving us
both panting.

“We need to eat. Now.
Or I'm going to take you, right here and now, in a place in which you are
uncomfortable.” I grab his face and resume my onslaught of kisses. He grabs my
face and breaks the kiss. “Rebecca…”

“A quickie won't kill
me, Drew,” I pant out. He's back on my lips with a fierceness. Finding the hem
of my top, he yanks it over my head and does the same with my cami. I grab the
lapels of his jacket and slide it off his arms in a hurry. Then I grab his
dress shirt and just rip it off of him. Buttons go flying and bouncing across
the floor, but I couldn't care less about his shirt or the floor. He growls
against my lips and bites my bottom lip, which makes me groan in return.
Reaching to unbuckle his belt and pants while he unfastens my bra, we are desperate
to be
connected
.

After a little struggle
trying to undo his pants while clinging onto him with my legs, I break the
kiss, grab his shoulders, and lower my feet back to the floor so we can both
get out of our pants. Drew takes off his shoes while I work on his buckle. Once
his pants are unbuttoned, they just fall to the floor and I help him get his
underwear off. What a glorious sight that stands before me.

My eyes wander down his
legs and see that his dress socks are still on. Uh-uh. No socks allowed.

I hook my big toe into
the top of one of his socks and push it down, then look up at him to lift his
foot out of his sock. He smiles and shakes his head at me, but does what my
eyes are telling him to do. Repeating with the other sock, he's now free to
yank my pants and panties down. I kick off my shoes and socks and step out of
my clothes.

Before I even have my
foot on the ground, he's hoisting me back up against the wall and is wrapping
my legs around his waist. As soon as my ankles are around him, he plunges into
me, making that connection we've been frantic to get to. I let out a guttural
moan at the feeling of finally having him back inside of me. Slowly, he eases
in and out and nibbles lightly down my neck. “I'm not going to take long,
Rebecca. I'm going fuck you good and hard.” My inner muscles clench around him.
“Are you ready, baby?”

Tightening my hold on
him, I breathe out, “Yes. God, yes!”

He backs up to pull me
off the wall and snakes his arms up my back and latches on to my shoulders.
Standing near the entry to his bedroom, he thrusts up into me with such force,
I swear I can feel him in my chest. He is so deep and is hitting every nerve
ending possible. I gasp and moan at the same time. Drew's right. It won't take
long. He continues with the deep, quick thrusts. I quickly feel my orgasm
starting to build and it's building fast. “Yes,” I pant out again. When I'm
about to climax, I pull his ass in tighter with my feet. I can feel his muscles
tightening with mine. We're both on the brink.

“Come with me,” he
breathes into my ear. That's all it took for me and we release together,
letting the orgasms wash through us. I will never tire of this feeling. I don't
think I really knew what sex should be like until I met Drew. Nothing could
ever compare to him. I think I know now that I can't live without him. Not only
do I
want
him like there's no tomorrow, I
need
him like my life
depends on it. He's fulfilling my dreams and he doesn't even know it. What's
weird is that I feel like I'm doing the same for him. Who knew it could ever be
like this? Such passion and caring. And love. I want so badly to tell him that
I love him, but I'm stubborn and refuse to be the first one to say it.

While my brain is
reveling in the love fest I've conjured up, Drew and I are still connected and
we haven't moved. Our breathing is returning to normal and my ache has quelled…for
now. I take a deep breath and make the first move, loosening my arms from
around him. As I pull away to see his face, I kiss his neck, then his cheek,
and his lips. “That was amazing,” I tell him. “Our lunches should be more like
that.” I smile wryly.

“You like it rough, do
you?”

“I like you. I liked
that. I'd like to do that again. Say tomorrow at noon?” Grinning widely, I kiss
the corner of his mouth.

“You're insatiable.”

“It's your fault.”

“I've created a
monster,” he jokes. “One hell of a sexy monster.” He pulls out gently and sets
me down on my feet. From the looks of it, he could go another round right now.

“Talk about insatiable.
Look at
you
.”

“It's all your fault. I
never had this problem before I saw you,” he quips back. “I am forever grateful
for this problem.” He leans down to give me a peck on the forehead. “We should
go eat before we end up not eating at all.”

We each gather our
clothes and start redressing. Drew grabs his shirt off of the floor and holds
it up to me with raised eyebrows. “What?” I say. “I've always wanted to do
that.”

He pouts. “I was quite
fond of that shirt. May it rest in peace.” He walks it over to the trash can
just inside the master bathroom door, does the sign of the cross, and drops it
in the can. He looks at me with sad eyes and fakes wiping away a tear with a
sniffle.

I roll my eyes and
laugh at his theatrics. “I'm sure you have, like, five hundred more just like
it in your closet. I think you'll be okay.”

He winks at me. “And
you can rip off every one of them, if you so desire.”

We've put ourselves
back together and he gets all his stuff packed up to spend the night at my
place. We go into his massive kitchen and he grabs a menu for me to look at.
It's for the restaurant downstairs that we ate at on our first date. I pick
something out and he places our order.

 “It will be about
fifteen minutes before the food gets here. Would you like some wi...?” He was
about to ask me if I wanted some wine, which he knows I'm not a fan of. “…something
to drink?”

“Just water will be
fine.” I go to get my water bottle that I left in the living room. When I
return, Drew is sipping on a small glass of wine and leaning against the
counter. I walk over to the counter across from where he is standing and hop up
onto it. “How much work do you have to do tonight?” I ask him, hoping it's not
too much.

“Not a lot. It
shouldn't take me too long. Just a couple of things to look over and a few
calls to make.” He sets his wine glass down, comes to stand in front of me, and
places his hands on my knees. Spreading them apart, he steps in between them,
making my heart beat faster. “Relax, baby. I'm not taking you again before we
eat. I just want to be close to you.” My heart rate doesn't slow down much.

I wrap my arms around
his neck and press my forehead to his. “I like being close,” I whisper, running
my fingers through his hair at the back of his head. “I have to admit that I am
most comfortable and at peace when I'm with you. It's like you're my happy
pill.” We both giggle and grin.

“I'm glad you are
comfortable with me. It should always be that way. I am quite comfortable with
you…and
in
you, too.” He pulls his head back to separate our foreheads
and wiggles his brows, making me laugh.

“I have another
admission for you. I think I want to...”

The sound of the
doorbell interrupts me. Drew taps me on the nose. “Hold that thought, baby.
Dinner is here.” He takes off to answer the door and let the room service
attendant in. I hop off the counter and snag another water bottle out of the
fridge. I head into where I hear the noise coming from, arriving as the last
dish is being set on the table in the dining room. For some reason, I feel that
Drew is never in this room, but there is not a lick of dust anywhere. It must
be nice to have a maid. I probably have dust bunnies the size of small mice and
I've only been in my place for a couple weeks.

Drew tips the
attendant, thanks him, and the guy shows himself out. “Have a seat, my love,”
he says sweetly and pulls out a chair for me. I am starved and ready to shovel
all of the food into my mouth. Trying to mind my manners, I start with my side
salad when I really want to just lay into the steak sitting before me.

My admission that I
wanted to tell Drew is put away…for now. We go through dinner without a whole
lot of chatter. I think I was too focused on getting food into my mouth in a
semi-decent manner.

After dinner, we pile
up the dishes for room service to collect later, grab his overnight bag, and
head back to my place. I can't believe he's okay with me not being comfortable
in his place. The guys I've met in the past would be like, “Get over it”, or “There's
the door”. Drew is definitely not one of those guys. Whatever stars aligned or
numbers played in my favor, I am grateful to the powers that be that brought
this wonderful man into my life.
