Signin’ the Sign

Belinda, Della, Dee, and Denni are out on the town. Belinda wants to propose a toast and is making sure that everyone has a drink when the waitress approaches.

Complex Sentences

Complex sentences in Sign can be explained in two ways. First, a complex sentence occurs when a
circumstance
is added to a sentence. A circumstance is a phrase that usually starts with a
conditional word,
such as “if,” or “suppose.”
