Ethan’s mom capitalized on the opportunity to convince her husband, “It’s settled then, you’ll try the turkey bacon and give it a chance before you ever put another piece of that stuff in your mouth again. If you don’t like it, you can always go back to the real stuff.”

“Okay, I doubt that I’m going to like it but I’m willing to give anything a chance.”

After that, breakfast was wonderful and we all managed to get along and even laughed a few times. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the eggs benedict were a symphony on my tongue. We finished up and then Ethan told his folks that we were going horseback riding in the country and wouldn’t be returning until much later.

“Son, are you sure that you should go out there, especially given the circumstances?”

“Mother, I am well aware of the circumstances but I think it’s time to move forward and leave the past in the past.”

“I think it’s a grand idea and it’s time for you to stop pining over what couldn’t be helped.” He gave his father a look that shut him up quickly and I was dragged out of the house before I even found out what they were all talking about. They were all being so mysterious, but the expression that Ethan gave to his father made me not push the issue with him.

We got to the horses and he brushed and saddled them himself for the ride. As he was checking that all the straps on the gear were secure, I could see the turmoil going on in his mind. He was very quiet and had that distant look in his eyes.

He grabbed the side of the horse and was about to climb up when he stopped, and still keeping his back to me, he said, “I want you to know that none of that was about you and I have only taken one other woman to this spot but she was lost to me a few years ago.” No more words were given as an explanation and I supposed that none was needed.

We rode in silence and I kept pace with him as he trotted along the path until he turned and went off the beaten track. There was a faint sign of hoof prints in the earth, but it had been some time since anyone had ventured in this direction. The branches of the trees overlapped each other and provided shade almost all of the way but every now and again the sun would peek through and cast its rays along the trail.

The foliage gave way to an area of grass with a large tree and bubbling brook ahead. It was one of the most picturesque scenes that I had ever seen. We climbed off our horses and he grabbed the picnic basket that he had packed for us. As he set it up under the tree, he surveyed the land around us. I could see the haunted look in his eyes again. The memories of his loss were now having some sort of effect.

We ate fried chicken, cold cuts, cheese and a medley of fruits under the blazing sun. It was just perfect. We chatted for a while and just enjoyed the surroundings. This place was a pleasant change from being in the city. The time seemed to slow to a halt. He took my empty glass from me and kissed me softly as he pushed me back on the blanket. Our clothes were soon in a heap by the brook and his body showed his longing to feel my body again.

I was already hot for him and he entered me with a passion that had me clawing at his back. Our eyes met and he looked so absorbed in another world that I wanted to show him there was another woman who wanted him, and that person was me. He held my arms over my head and slid in and out of me like warm butter. That feeling took me on a journey into his very soul. He pulled out and gently touched my anal opening with the head of his penis. He waited for my reaction before going any further. This wasn’t what I wanted, although I have been curious ever since his tongue stimulated that area.

“I know we’ve never talked about this, Emily, but I was wondering if you’d be comfortable in trying anal sex with me?”

I said, “Well, I liked what you did with your tongue last night, so I am a little curious. Just go slowly and if I want to stop, then...”

“…then I’ll stop.” The head of his penis tried to enter me but it was just too painful so I shrieked when the head pierced my interior. My breath was expelled in a whoosh that was immediately followed by his cock pushing forward until the first couple of inches were in me. I didn’t have to say a word, he could tell that I wanted to stop and he gently pulled out and waited for me to say something, anything. I just stared at him and thought…I wasn’t even sure what I thought.

“I’m sorry, I just don’t think that is right for me.”

“I understand, Emily. It was just something I thought you’d like to try. I still want to make love to you or would you rather that I stop completely?”

“I still want to make love to you, Ethan.” He crawled onto me, lifted my legs onto his shoulders and continued our dance of love. His powerful movements had me moaning as he pulled one orgasm after the other out of me. He continued to slip and slide in my warmth and tightness as my nails racked down his back. He sighed and moaned his own release and I received what he had stored up inside.

He got up, grabbed my hand and we ran into the water stark naked just as the sun was starting to set. We splashed water at each other and he laughed as he was having the time of his life.

“Emily, I’ve never felt so free before and it is the first time I’ve ever skinny dipped here.” I wasn’t entirely sure that he was being truthful because it seemed almost impossible not to shed your clothes in such a pristine and secluded location as this one, but he had no reason to lie. There was something so beautiful about this place. It beckoned me to frolic in the nude under the sun that was now a more brilliant shade of orange than it had been earlier.

“I think it has something more to do with the company you’re with than anything else.”

“Maybe you’re right.” He winked at me and chased after me in the water. I kicked my legs away from him and he had a hard time keeping pace as I went across the brook like a fish.

I stopped at the edge as he caught up. He was breathing heavily as he tried to bring his heart rate back down. “Where did you learn to do that? I thought I was a good swimmer, but I pale in comparison to you.”

“I am sure that you could have easily caught me if you really wanted to.”

“You don’t give yourself enough credit, Em.”

“I’ve never been one to accept praise, but I’m starting to learn that my talent speaks for itself. I really want to open my own boutique and your mother was very reassuring but it is a big step that could blow up in my face.”

“Anything worth doing is risky and it’s those risks that make life more interesting.” I couldn’t deny his reasoning as he did make a good point. “Whatever you decide, I will be by your side the whole way.” It was nice to hear but I still didn’t know if he was going to be around long term. This was after all, just an arrangement. I was learning about myself with this man but I wasn’t sure if there was a future for us as a couple. He still hadn’t shown me who he was behind his walls.

It was when the sun slipped under the hills that we made our way back to the blanket and sat down. I could see that he wanted to tell me something but he just wasn’t ready and needed some encouragement.

“Ethan, I can see that something is troubling you and if you want to talk about it, I’ve been told that I’m a good listener.”

“Well, to be perfectly honest with you I just don’t know where to start. This place is very special to me and even as a boy, I would come here to play and go swimming. I would also come here to clear my head and just let nature nourish my soul. I’ve even found inspiration in this landscape for my sensual art. You’ve been very patient but I haven’t told you everything about me and I think maybe it’s time that I do.”

“You can tell me anything, Ethan.”

Taking my hand in his, he said, “I know that and I want you to know that you are the first woman that I have brought here in a very long time. In fact, you are but one of two women that I felt I could share this place with. The first was Henrietta. We met in Berlin at a book tour and like me she was there for an autograph from the author. She needed to use the bathroom so I kept her place for her in the line. We started chatting and after I showed her some of my own work, she wanted to pose for me. It was a whirlwind romance and we were three months into the relationship when it happened. One night I forgot the milk and she stormed out to get it. That was when she was killed.”

I could see a trace of sadness in his eyes, but at least I knew the story of how they met. It looked like talking about it was helping him to open up and let it go. “Her parents blamed me for the accident and I guess I put the blame on myself, although in my heart, I knew that there was nothing I could do.”

“Do you see yourself loving again or has your heart been permanently damaged?”

“Therapy has helped me in the past and I know that if love were to come along I would be open to it. My fear isn’t in loving again, Em. It’s in losing someone that I do love. That’s why I still have reservations about opening my heart like that again.” My therapist was right. Things were not always as easy as we saw them. People processed information differently and Ethan’s description of how he felt just proved that. All this time I thought that Ethan did not have the capacity to love, but it was the fear of loss that plagued his heart. “I will tell you that having you in my life has changed many things for me, Em.”

“I don’t know what to say, Ethan. I’m happy that you trust me enough to tell me this.”

“I’ve trusted you from the moment we met, Emily. It just took this time to get to know you. You have shown me that I could open up and let someone in.” Taking my hand, he whispered, “Let me show you how much I want you in my life, Emily.”

We were still naked as the day we were born and he looked at me like he was seeing me for the first time in his life. That look alone was enough to make me want him with all of my heart.

He slipped between my already spread legs. He smiled and wiggled his tongue at me to indicate what he was going to do. Bracing myself, I got up on my elbows as he lightly licked my slit from the top to the bottom and all over again. He was teasing me something mercilessly and all I could do was bite my lip as the erotic sensation coursed through my body. I looked down at his face as his mouth was just about to consume me and then I had to close my eyes as the luscious feeling of what he was doing washed over me.

This was a softer and more vulnerable side to him. He was really making me want his tongue more than I wanted anything else in my life. I wrapped my legs around his head and finally I felt him persuade my lips to open with his tongue. I was soon clawing at his head that was between my legs.

His hands came up over my body and began to play with my nipples. I closed my eyes tighter as my body bucked against his face. He was giving me the kind of pleasure that each woman should experience at least once in her life.

“Ethan, that is amazing, you should’ve been a woman with how well you know how to do that.”

He looked up and said, “Yes, but then you wouldn’t have this.” Seeing him brandishing his love muscle in his hands, I had to admit that he did have at least one long and thick thing that no woman could possess. That hard cock belonged to me and he knew exactly what I wanted.

I hadn’t exactly cum yet but I did have some mini cums that had taken my breath away and now I was waiting for the main event. Gently, he pulled my legs from around his head and dipped the head of his penis into the center of my womanhood. He drove his hips back and forth but only gave me the head and that just wasn’t enough. If he was waiting for me to do something about it, he was going to be waiting some time.

He finally couldn’t take anymore of just the head inside me and started to thrust harder. He leaned in and kissed me and his tongue battled with my own for control. His hips were moving slowly and I could feel the buildup of both of our desires.
