“Mr. McHale. So nice of
you to call, is there something I can help you with?”

“Should I answer that
question truthfully, Ellie-bean?” My dick got hard just from saying
that name. I never thought I’d get the chance to call her that
again.

“Mr. McHale, I don’t mean
to be rude sir, but I am a very busy woman so, can I ask what this
phone call is regarding?”

Ah, she was feisty this
morning. She must’ve seen the photos. I laughed a sincere laugh at
her attempt at being a hard ass. I loved when she tried to play
hard to get.

“Yes, Mrs. Barker-Jackson,
would you like to know where you will be accompanying me for lunch
today, here in about –oh, an hour or so?”

That caught her off guard.
She wasn’t expecting that out of this conversation. There was no
way you could have ripped the smile off my face. I had her totally
flustered, and I loved every minute of it because it meant I still
got to her.

“I would appreciate that
very much.”

I got up from my seat at
the desk and had to start walking around. My cock was about ready
to bust through my zipper. I was going to have to take care of this
as soon as I got off the phone, or just maybe I wouldn’t and let
her see how much she still gets to me and she could take care of it
for me.

Wishful
thinking.

Maybe I could find a way
for you to show your appreciation Mrs. Barker-Jackson.” I could
just visualize how beautiful she looked sitting at her desk -
blushing. That beautiful rose color filling her cheeks as she
visualized what I was implying to her. She knew exactly what I
meant when I said that.

Mr. McHale, you can call
me Elle, as a matter of fact I insist you call me Elle.”

I loved hearing her call
me Mister. I could just see her kneeling before me with my shaft
held tightly in her hand as she teased me by wrapping her tongue
around me. Fuck. I was going to come and she hadn’t even touched
me. I had to change the subject.

“Ah, but we are
professionals here, Mrs. Barker-Jackson and I insist we keep it
that way.”

“Very well.”

I couldn’t figure it out,
she was annoyed with me. Either by what I was saying, or by calling
her by her married name? Was I reading that right? She kept
insisting I call her by her first name, but that takes all the
professionalism out of it especially with a history such as ours.
Maybe I was just looking deeper than I should’ve been. Besides,
being the sadistic bastard that I was, the thought of her being
frustrated with me turned me on more and more just at the thought
of it.

“Waldorf Astoria, Atlanta.
Do you need directions Mrs. Barker-Jackson?”

No Mr. McHale, I think I
can find my way.” She paused for a minute I almost thought she was
done talking. “I look forward to our meeting. I’ll see you at 12:30
then.”

Now I was the one that was
caught off guard. I wasn’t expecting to hear that from that
response from her.

“Oh - not as much as I do,
Mrs. Barker-Jackson.”

What the hell was
happening to me?

I thought to myself as I
sat upstairs of the restaurant where we were meeting. She was late
and I…I was anxious. My palms were clammy, and I felt as if I had
enough nervous energy to run laps around this whole building for
hours. Holy shit, I was turning into a pussy whipped adolescent
again.

Sipping the drink of
scotch and soda that sat in front of me, I swore to myself that it
would be the only one and it was to take the edge off. I finished
what was in the glass and set it back down on the table.

I glanced back down at my
watch again when I heard the door to the private dining room open
up. I saw Elle walk in behind the maître d and my jaw fell open.
She just stood there for a moment taking in the elegant
surroundings. The concierge went above and beyond what I had
requested. I didn’t know whether she was going to continue to come
this way, or take off in a panic.

I had never seen a more
breathtaking sight in all my life. That hole that was exposed in
the middle of my chest was almost closed, as the warmth that I felt
filled me from the tips of my toes to the top of my head. Almost
overwhelmingly so. I saw her begin her stroll over to our table and
the closer she got the warmer that feeling became. It was as if it
was pulling her towards me.

“Please, come and
sit.”

I pointed to the chair
across from me, as she came to it and lowered herself into it. She
immediately picked up the napkin and placed it gently into her
lap.

“Mr. McHale,” was the only
greeting that I received from her. That was ok, because the only
word I wanted to hear out of her mouth today was, “Yes,” when I
offered her my proposition.

Ricardo did his thing by
filling up our water glasses and telling us about our waitress.
Before he left, I wanted him to be sure that he remembered that I
wanted to be left alone until I let them know we were ready to
receive them.

As I asked Ricardo nicely,
he lowered his head in acknowledgement and left us.

Alone.

“So, Mr. McHale, the
contracts?”

Oh, she wanted to continue
this little game, huh. Well, I was ready to see what she had for
me.

“Ah, yes, we will get to
those momentarily. First, we have some catching up to
do.”

Look, I didn’t come here
for a high school reunion, Trevor.”

I wanted to close my eyes
and savor my name on her tongue. Shit, it was as though an angel
was calling me. But yet, she acted as if it was dirt in her
mouth.

“So now we’re back to
first names, huh? Well, if I recall correctly, as of second grade,
I asked you not to call me Trevor.”

I could see the
frustration getting the best of her, the cool color of her cheeks
was becoming a sexy shade of fire red. I smirked at the thought of
seeing the soft and smooth skin of her ass cheeks tinted the same
color as her face.

“Trevor, TJ, Mr. McHale.
Look, what does it matter what I call you. This little get-together
you thought you’d force me into agreeing to, is strictly business.
I’m here to pick up contracts, and that’s it. I’m not really in the
mood to reminisce.”

Oh yeah, I was getting to
her. I could see it all over her body. She was squirming in her
chair, I imagined running my fingers through her wetness as she
closed her eyes in pleasure. She had small beads of sweat that had
built up on her upper lip, and I could bet any amount of money that
her nipples were as hard as tiny pebbles.

The smirk on my face had
become a shit-eating grin.

“That’s hurts, Mrs.
Barker-Jackson. Here I go out of my way to make you feel
comfortable. Have a nice meal, nice conversation and yet you blow
me off like I’m some stranger off the street.”

“That’s another
thing,
Mister
McHale, why do you feel it necessary to continually call
me
that
! It’s
very annoying.”

I knew it! I boasted to
myself mentally. She didn’t like when I associated her with his
name either. Well, I was going to make sure that once today was
over, it would never be used again. For right now though, this was
way too much fun and was extremely entertaining for me.

“Well Mrs. Barker-Jackson,
like I said, I want you to feel comfortable, I know that you’re a
married woman and I don’t want to do something
…inappropriate.”

Mr. McHale, my personal
life is not your concern, nor does it have anything to do with this
lunch meeting. I don’t feel uncomfortable because, I would not
allow you to put me in that position. Now, are we going to discuss
the contracts or not?”

I grabbed my water, took a
sip, sat back in my chair and placed my fingertips together, while
I just stared at her. Elle stared back for a moment but then turned
away as if she didn’t want me to see what was in her eyes. This
made me extremely curious about what was going on inside that
pretty little head of hers. Playtime was over. I wiped the smirk
off my face, and made sure that business man Trevor was now in
place.

“Very well, if that’s the
way you want to play this game then let’s play. Let’s get down to
business. I have a proposal for you. I have spoken with Loren and I
added a small stipulation to our deal.”

Elle sat straight up in
her seat. She was in her defensive stance. Ready and waiting,
determined to not be caught off guard this time.

“I am moving my main
headquarters of the Mac-Gentry firm and I have some legal work
dealing with accounts and contracts that I need to bring to a close
so since the newest partner of Richards, Klein and Daugherty has
just been put on retainer by my company, I need you to accompany me
back to Burlington and help me conclude my business. We have eight
days to get all contracts drawn up, presented, signed and filed.
Then we have to make sure that they are sorted away and packed up
ready to ship down to the new headquarters here in
Richland.”

I could see Elle drop one
layer of her armor when she heard what I had to say, apparently it
wasn’t as bad as she thought it was going to be.

“How many contracts are we
talking about here?”

“Two hundred and
fifty.”

Something was amusing to
her because she busted out in laughter. I hadn’t heard that sound
in seventeen years, and I missed the hell outta it. She shook her
head to bring herself back to the conversation.

“I’m sorry, I thought you
said two hundred and fifty.”

I smiled at the thought
that I had made that beautiful sound come from her, whether I meant
to or not.

I did.”

Her laugh turned into a
smile, as she grabbed the napkin out of her lap and set it on the
table, inching her chair back. I know she noticed the strange look
on my face because she began to explain what she was
doing.

“Mr. McHale, this,” Elle
waved a hand at the table “well we won’t call it a lunch since I
never had the chance to order, has been
enlightening
. Now, since you feel
that you have enough money to sit here and waste your time that
certainly does not give you the right to waste mine. Now will you
please, hand me the contracts.”

I wasn’t following what
she was saying. Did she think that this was all some type of joke?
I moved my chair back as well, taking her answer to be a no; I was
simply going to walk her out. I wasn’t expecting her to turn this
offer down.

Mrs.
Barker-Jack-”

Suddenly, Elle threw her
fist down on the table, bouncing the glasses and the silver around,
“Don’t fucking call me that name again!”

I didn’t move. I was
shocked and all confused. She was pissed off because I called her
by her fucking name? Had I entered the Twilight Zone? I just stared
at her waiting for an explanation, enlightenment on what was the
reasoning behind her very hasty madness. Nothing.

Un-fucking–real!

Fine, Elle, can we please
sit down and discuss this rationally?”

“There’s nothing rational
to discuss. There’s no way in hell that you are going to pull that
off. Besides I can’t be away for eight days. That’s
ridiculous!”

I was still standing next
to the table, while she was standing a few feet away from her
chair. Becoming more and more frustrated with every pessimistic
word she spoke, and bored of this bullshit conversation around the
big pink elephant that was taking up the entire room. I wanted to
just come out and demand that she accompany me back to Burlington
and be done with this. I wanted to reach over, grab her and pull
her to me. But I also knew that was not an option, so I held back
every damn desire that I felt, as it slowly killed me. I could feel
my pulse rate rising, I had lost all reasoning that led me to
smile.

Suddenly, a thought popped
into my head.
Be TJ…not Trevor.
I was TJ to her, not dickhead Trevor. It had been
a while, but I had to pull him out for my sake, and for her maybe
that would seal the deal.

“Elleny, please,” I
pleaded, “sit down and let’s discuss this. I have a plan and it
will work but I need your help.”

She began walking slowly
back to her seat. I took a breath in relief and sat back
down.

“Let me at least finish
the proposal I have for you,” I began as a phone sounded from her
purse.

“Excuse me one minute I
need to check this.”

I nodded my understanding
and looked around. I needed a drink so fucking bad. This was not
going the way I wanted it to, but I would never let her know
that.

As
Elle reached down beside her to grab her purse, the arm of
her jacket rose and I noticed something on her wrist.

What the fuck!

The first thing that went
through my mind was what I saw in those pictures that Lauren had
shown me years ago. Maybe she had increased her sexual experiences
and was into that as well. Having been with her for as long as I
was, I didn’t see that as a possibility though. A thought crossed
my mind but I pushed that out because no one and that would have
included Bear in their right mind, would even attempt to try the
thought that just crossed mine. It had to be something
else.
