     “What did they say?” Angyl asked sounding nervous.

     “Well they first they told me that they have had guards at every entrance and that no one besides my sister has come in that way. Then they told me that they started to smell a sulphurous and blood type smell, like the blood had a trace of sulphur in it. They do not how or even know where it came from. They didn’t call me because they thought that it wasn’t anything, because they went around the perimeter after smelling it and found nothing. Then they told me that they would do a more thorough walk through, now we are just waiting for a call back to see what they find.” Ace relayed back to Angyl.

     “Thanks it's probably nothing, but I appreciate you having them look anyways.” Angyl said still freaked out “Wait did you say a sulphurous smell. Every time my ex-husband would seem to get worked up whether horny, angry, sad, pissed it would smell like sulphur in our home. The only time he didn't smell of sulphur was when he was truly happy, I mean completely utterly happy, which was when he would be so absorbed in beating me he lost control, or when he would show me he loved me. As for the sulphurous smell around your husband, I believe that you didn’t smell things from his work, I believe that it was actually your ex-husband.” Ace said as he moved closer to her. He then ran his hand down her face, it started off as him trying to comfort her, but then when he got to her neck he gently put his hand behind her neck, and pulled her towards him and kissed her so softly that she could feel all his desire for her in that one kiss.

     “Wwhat?” Angyl stuttered. “How can you know? We haven’t even known each other that long.”

     “I have known you long enough to know that I love you, that I love your son, and that I want both of you to live here with me.” Ace said matter of factly.

so you picked up a strong smell of sulphur over by the large tree in the yard. Yes I will call the Were's and see if they know what can cause that. I'll also see if they can get a better smell, so when they get here, please let them in, and send them to see me.

     “Why is it going to take 2 hours?” Angyl asked.

     “They are about to perform a mating ritual. Were's are as ritualistic as we are about their mating rituals. Once a date and time are set they do not do anything ‘til that ritual is over. Their rituals take an hour and a half; I caught Axel just before he was heading to perform the ritual.”

     “Why is he performing the ritual?” Angyl said still stunned to learn there were werewolves.

     “He is the alpha which means that he has to approve of their mating and has to perform the mating rights ceremony. They then go into wolf form for the last part of the ceremony, where they also share blood to bind each other as mates before they...... Well the last part is private.”

     “Ours doesn’t take as long as theirs, but ours is similar. Here after everything is dealt with I will find you our records so you can read them.”

When before she knew it he was swiping everything off his desk and placing her gently there. Then he separated long enough to go lock the door.      “Wow you did a great job on my brothers Library it doesn't look like the same place.” Abby said just as full of wonder as Nathan had been that she nearly didn't speak.

     “Thank you.” Angyl said shyly. “I will be starting to fill the bookshelves with books soon, you will have a better stocked library then most public libraries.” she laughed.

     “Bro I think once the books are on the shelves I might come here and read now” Abby said.

     “After you’re done with that, can I get you to help with the side library where I keep all of our vampire records?”

     “Bro you know the rules.” Abby said nervously.

     “I don’t know. We agreed to 2 weeks and by the time I’m done with this library the 2 weeks will be up. Plus I don't want to get you into any trouble.”

     “Well I would appreciate it. Please help. It won’t get me into trouble as we are dating.”

     “Finally!” Abby squealed with delight.

     “I really don’t know.” Angyl said undecided.

     “Please mommy, I want to stay longer, I like it here.”

     “I feel safe here and I can see what you do when you work. I like spending time with Ace's sister Abby, and Ace is nice mommy.” Nathan said about to cry.

     “It could be. I could give you work here to do. You and your son could live here.” Ace said seriously “How about you at least take a look at the off room of the library?”
