Epilogue - Cherie

I
putter
around our little house in the countryside, rubbing my swollen belly. I’m pregnant again—this time with twin boys—and all of our lives are about to change forever, all over again.

We’re living on the outskirts of the city these days, so I can still see Bridgette and her family whenever I want, and Ellie Rose can still go to her school, but we’re far enough away that we can avoid the chaos. These were my stipulations when Axel and I decided to sell our homes to find somewhere bigger to combine our lives…and boy did he deliver.

It’s absolutely perfect. Even better than I could have ever dreamed of.

Because I got pregnant again so fast, we had to get married quickly to allow me to fit into a slim-line dress. That meant our wedding wasn’t a lavish, over-the-top affair, but it was perfect for us. That’s what I wanted anyway. We only invited the people closest to us, so it felt intimate, quiet, and wonderful. It allowed the children to join in and have fun, too.

We wrote our own vows, which I’ve memorized forever.

“Axel, I vow to love you, to be with you, and to support you forever. We’ve been through more trials and tribulations than anyone I know, but we’ve made it. We’re still here together and we always will be. You’re strong, powerful, and masculine, but also caring, sweet and romantic. You’re my world and I love you.”

“Cherie, baby girl, I love you and Ellie Rose to death. And now our little family is about to get bigger.” This drew stunned gasps from the audience; we hadn’t told anyone that I was expecting back then—not even Bridgette! “You’re the loveliest, sweetest girl I know. You’re my opposite, which means that you complete me.” His eyes started to tear up at that moment, and we both almost lost it there and then. “Now come here and kiss me, wife.” Luckily, this last line made everyone laugh, breaking the tension.

Then we shared our first kiss as husband and wife. It was a breathtaking amazing day. One that I’ll never, ever forget.

Then we went back to our five star hotel for the most amazing wedding night sex ever. We did that instead of going on a honeymoon, because neither of us could bear to leave Ellie Rose for too long, and we were already in the middle of moving home, so it was far more practical.

“Come here, Mrs. Lake,” Axel had growled at me the second we’d entered our room. It had been a long and tiring day, but I was wired and excited—ready for what was about to happen.

“Ooh, I like the sound of that!” I grinned, moving closer to him and wrapping my arms tightly around his neck. “Mrs. Lake, Axel’s wife!”

We were extremely horny and desperate for each other. We’d been waiting to escape for some alone time for a while, and we were both glad to finally have that.

“Let me give you a sample of what married life is going to be like,” he announced before pulling me in for a deep and passionate kiss. Even though we both knew where this was headed, we took a second to just enjoy each other’s lips. We were no longer just Cherie and Axel—we were a team, a unit, a married couple.

But then Axel started to slip my dress over my head, unable to contain himself any longer. Luckily, I had gone for a simple dress design. It would’ve been very difficult if it had been a complex corset with all sorts of fancy fastenings to unhook and untie. He might have just lost it there and then.

It was simple and elegant…just like me.

“Fuck!” Axel said when he caught a glimpse of my white satin wedding night lingerie. “You somehow look virginal and slutty, all at the same time.”

“Just the look I was going for!” I laughed before pulling off his tuxedo jacket. “Now as sexy as you look dressed up smart, I’m more interested in what’s underneath.”

He started to unbutton his shirt slowly, teasing me, but I couldn’t take it, so I quickly grabbed it and tore it off, watching the buttons fly everywhere.

“Impatient dirty girl.”

Then his pants fell to the floor, revealing his black underwear.

“Take them off as well,” I said. I grinned and gestured, wanting to see him completely naked. He complied quickly, showing me just how excited he was, and his long, hard cock throbbed, desperate for attention. My body pulsated with pleasure in response, but it wasn’t time for him to feel how wet I was…not yet.

Instead, I walked over to him, keeping my eyes trained on his face, and then I sank to my knees.

“What are you doing to me?” Axel groaned as he realized what I was about to do.

I grabbed his cock with both hands, wrapping my lips around it. As I bobbed my head up and down, watching his legs tremble under my touch, I hoped that my wedding makeup—complete with deep crimson-red lipstick—was making this even more visually stimulating for him.

“Fuck, Cherie, stand up!” he begged after only a few moments. I could feel that he was already getting close, so I complied.

After all, we still had a lot more to do to each other…

He leaned in and kissed me hard, almost taking my breath away. Then he lifted me up, and I wrapped my legs around him while he carried me over the dresser, where he sat me down.

At first I thought he was going to fuck me right there and then, but then he sank to his knees, too. He glanced up at me as I ran my fingers through his freshly-groomed hair, and he slid a finger inside me, feeling my slick desire.

“So wet for me, baby, and still so tight…” he growled.

I gasped loudly, unable to formulate a coherent response.

Then he finally went in for the kill. He tongue found my clit and flicked repeatedly over it in the most wonderful pattern that my body had ever experienced. I swelled and contracted with pleasure, almost collapsing right then and there.

As his mouth worked my center, his hands travelled up my body, exploring every inch and curve of me as if it were for the very first time.

“Fuck, Axel, I…” I panted, but I was too lost in ecstasy to even form a sentence.

He finally stood up, leaning over me. His powerful, muscular body made me swell with pride—this was my husband. We were bound together now, and the claim was well and truly staked. Axel Lake was mine forever.

His cock found its way to my entrance and he slid slowly inside. Every thrust sent me further backwards, until my back was pushed against the cold, hard mirror, and the contrast in sensations sent my body wild. Hot, cold, hard, soft…it was almost too much for me to take in all at once.

Then Axel had another idea. “Get down. I want you to watch yourself being fucked,” he said.

I did as I was told, wanting that, too. I wanted to have all sorts of new experiences with my husband, and this was going to be the first of many.

He bent me over the dresser and angled himself so that we could both see ourselves, and then he slid back inside me with a hard thrust, making a gasp escape my mouth. He slammed in and out of me, using one hand to cup my breasts and play with my nipples, and the other to work my clit.

Seeing us both writhing in desire in the reflection was amazing. It added so much to the experience, and I reached a climax that much quicker. Seeing Axel’s face contorted in pleasure at the same time as mine made the bliss feel extra special, and I never wanted the moment to end.

After our amazing sex, we collapsed onto the bed and snuggled into each other’s arms.

“I love you, Mrs. Lake,” Axel said. “Always and forever.”

“I love you, too, Mr. Lake,” I replied. “You’re my world.”

After that, we settled into everyday married life, but instead of being boring and dreary, it’s exciting and fun every single day. Being Mrs. Lake has been one hell of a journey, and I can’t wait to do it forever.

Axel kept his promise about every day being just like our wedding night—our sex life has been experimental and exhilarating to say the least—until I became far too pregnant to enjoy it.

We’ll get back there though, if we can survive the sleepless nights. Axel is probably so desperate for it that he’ll be pouncing on me the second I get home from the hospital.

“I’m off to work, baby girl.” Axel snuggles into my neck, hugging me from behind as I hand him his packed lunch over my shoulder. “Don’t you dare go into labor today; I don’t want to miss another birth!”

He often makes these jokes, but I think it’s just to hide the hurt that he feels inside. The circumstances back then couldn’t be helped, but it caused him to miss so much with Ellie Rose….although he’s more than making up for it now. Sometimes on weekends, I don’t see the pair of them all day. They are just obsessed with one another.

“I can’t make any promises,” I say, turning around and smiling at him. “Grady and Brandon might want to join us this afternoon for tea!”

“We are not calling them that. I’m naming them, I’ve already told you.”

“Yeah, but you want to call them Jack and Ben. I want more exciting names for our baby boys.”

We both laugh this off, only teasing each other. We’ve decided not to name the boys until they’re actually here, which is what I did with Ellie Rose. She just looked like her name, so I knew it was perfect.

To be honest, when it comes to the twins, I’ll probably end up letting Axel have his way with their names. It’s only fair, seeing as I named our firstborn. Plus, then I can remind him of the huge sacrifice I’ve made when he’s woken up twenty times a night and has to help me change a hundred diapers a day.

He might know how to parent Ellie Rose, but babies are something else! I can’t wait to see how he copes.

“Bridge will be here anyway, if anything does happen.”

I try to reassure him, but it doesn’t seem to work, and his face still remains panicked.

“I’ll have my phone on me all day. Call me if you even get a twinge. Lucas knows that I’ll need to leave right away. He’s totally cool about that.”

Lucas and Axel work together now. They’ve opened a gym where they’re training daily. Lucas looks ridiculous in a suit, his bulky muscles threatening to rip the fabric apart. And Axel, my everything, makes sure everything runs smoothly. They turned a profit in their first month. They’re opening a new branch in an upscale part of town soon.

When I remember that wanted man who approached me in a bar when I was at my lowest point, it feels like a lifetime ago, as if it happened to two different people. But that’s what brought my life together. That’s what made everything complete.

That strange, odd event changed the course of my life forever.

“I love you,” I say, wrapping my arms around Axel neck and gazing deep into his eyes.

“I love you, too, dirty girl,” he replies. He leans forward, kissing me gently. “Always have, always will.”
