“You damn right, you’re mine.”

He stopped suddenly and held me close to him. I could feel him pulsing inside of me. He pushed my sweat soaked hair away from my forehead, and he kissed me possessively and hard and decisively, letting me know he has officially claimed me.

When he pulled back and before he continued to fuck sense into me, he said, “Open your eyes, baby, and look at me.” I did, and he caressed my cheek, and the intensity in his eyes, holy hell, made my stomach do flips. “And I’m yours. This dick is yours, my body is yours, my arms, my strength, my soul, and my heart is yours. I love you, Kenya. Do you understand what I’m telling you?”

And I did… My breath hitched and got stuck or lost, I couldn’t tell you nor could I brace myself for the onset of Joshua Leone Cooper. He filled me, he fucked me, he claimed me, and he made love to me over and over and over again until I could no longer mumble my name or his for that matter.

All I can tell you is when I finally felt the bed under me, I closed my eyes only to be woken up by his tongue caressing my swollen lips as he claimed me all over again.

Chapter 12
Joshua

Josh woke to the smell of coffee, and what was that, turkey bacon?

He opened his eyes and had to let his brain catch up with what he saw to explain his surroundings. As he moved his body, he felt aches all over. That was when he remembered where and how he got his aches. He smiled and closed his eyes for a second longer. He remembered the many times he woke her up to take her body again and again. He couldn’t help himself. He wasn’t exaggerating when he said she was his obsession. His body craved for her to be under him, next to him, on top of him. He showed her the many ways to please him. He showed her what he liked, which had turned into loves, for her to do and what he didn’t, which by the way wasn’t much.

What he absolutely loved about his woman was how eager she was to learn. How much effort she put into touching him and making him feel good was enough for him to come right now just thinking about it. And the moment she put her soft lips on his dick, he knew he’d gone to heaven. She may have been inexperienced, but she caught on quick and was able to bring him to his knees again, literally.

Josh decided to find her and possibly get buried in her again, which after he found the bathroom and relieved himself, he found her sipping coffee at the very counter he had her sprawled on.

He looked at the counter and grinned turning her beet red.

“Good morning.”

He leaned in and gave her a peck on her lips.

“Morning,” she replied, still beet red.

When she met his eyes, he marveled at the brightness and beauty the color of her eyes showed. They gave her such a different look. It was almost like she was a different person.

“You made me breakfast?” he asked, moving to the spread that was sitting on her dining room table.

He wanted to focus on something else and not the fact that she seemed to just be wearing a t–shirt that barely covered her ass. He was getting horny again.

“Yes, turkey bacon, eggs, pancakes.”

“Wow, thanks, it looks good.” He moved to the table but saw she wasn’t, and he asked, “Are you going to eat with me?”

“Oh I ate already. This is just for you.”

Instinctively his training kicked in, and he hesitated slightly. If he was on a case and someone served him a meal and didn’t eat too, he’d think they were poisoning him. Josh watched the uncertainty in her eyes along with trepidation and fear, and he felt guilty for taking her the way he had last night.

Damn, her eyes are astonishing.
He was in awe at how much he could read her. They were so expressive. He also saw want and desire in her eyes as she took in his naked chest and boxer brief enclosed hips.

“I’m going to go and take a shower while you eat.”

She placed her mug in the sink and walked past him.

He didn’t let her get far. He snaked his arm around her waist and brought her back flush up against his front. He placed soft kisses on her shoulder then up to her neck and behind her ear.

He asked her, “What are your plans today?”

She squirmed in his grasp, but didn’t move from his embrace.

“Um nothing. Just cleaning my house, mainly my kitchen.”

He chuckled against her shoulder and lightly kissed her there.

“Why don’t you skip that and come with me. I have something I want to show you.”

She shook her head. “I don’t know if there’s something I want to see of yours right now.”

He wrapped both arms around her. “I promise it’s something you want to see. It won’t take long, okay?”

She sighed and agreed she would go with him. Josh let her go and ate quickly. He got dressed and was ready to go just as she walked out of her room. She wore brown colored contacts, which made him frown, but he didn’t say anything about it. He wanted to see the true Kenya with all of her barriers down, but it seemed while she took her shower she had time to construct more.

She grabbed her keys and purse, and announced, “I’m ready when you are.”

Josh motioned for her to walk ahead of him, which gave him the opportunity to look at her beautiful soft apple shaped ass through her yellow summer dress.

Josh watched her lock her door, eyeing it to see if in fact he damaged it at all, which he didn’t. He wanted to tell her that her locks were rudimentary at best, and a toddler could break into her apartment with their eyes closed, but he didn’t want to scare her. Instead he would make sure to change her locks if she insisted on staying here.

They walked to his car, and she tossed him the keys. He drove straight to his apartment, telling her that he needed to shower and shave first then they would be on their way. It didn’t take him long to hop in the shower and get dressed.

When he emerged from his room showered and refreshed, Summer,
or rather Kenya
, he had to remember to only use her real name, looked him up and down. He had casual shoes on his feet that were somewhat covered by his relaxed fit dark colored jeans. His green pullover Polo shirt hung over his hips with a tan blazer.

“Where are we going?” she finally asked him.

“Well, what I have to show you won’t take very long then we can go wherever you want afterwards.”

He knew she wanted to ask him more, but she didn’t. Instead, she took his outstretched hand and they moved from his apartment to the elevator. They rode down in silence Josh trying desperately to give her the space to ask what he knew was running through her mind. He hoped her barriers would come down in the next thirty minutes. He wanted her lips again all over him, but he wanted her to initiate the moves first.

The elevator stopped on the main floor, and a man about six feet stood in a blue suit and tie, with grey hair at his temples. He had gleaming brown eyes and those said eyes were fixed on Kenya.

“So we meet again.” The man smiled.

Kenya smiled in kind. “Yes, how are you?”

“I’m doing well actually… Summer, right?”

She nodded. “Yes, and you’re Robert?”

“Wow, you remembered. You know I was hoping that you would have used that card I gave you.”

Josh had enough of the back and forth, and said, pulling Kenya close to his side, “Bobby, cut the shit and get to work. We’ll see you in the office.”

Bobby’s smile dropped at the sight of Josh’s hand enclosed in hers and the possessive way he had her tucked in his side.

Bobby looked at Kenya then at Josh and said, “You’re bringing her to the office?”

Josh rolled his eyes. “That’s the plan.”

Josh then moved away from Bobby, pulling Kenya slowly along.

When they got to his car she asked, “How do you know that guy?”

Josh backed out of his parking spot and turned to look at her.

He said simply, “He works with me. Well, sort of anyway.”

He turned away from her and turned the radio on, signaling he was done answering questions. He wanted to get his jealousy and anger in tact before he got her in the office and before she went in on him. Josh moved through downtown from memory and with speed. He was trying to figure out the best way to approach everything. She didn’t believe him when he told her about what he did. And hell, he couldn’t blame her. She had no experience with men, but even he felt funny telling her why he was hugged up on Misty that night.

Josh thought his assignment with the investment company was done. The real story he was investigating or substantiating was a story a whistle blower produced about the company he owned. His son, who was the CFO of the company, stumbled on some inconsistencies, and after he investigated, found out that a few of their clients, as well as themselves, were investing in a company that seemed suspicious.

After Josh and his team looked into the questionable company, they found out the company was a front for a corporation heavily providing arms and funds to terrorists overseas. Josh didn’t have anyone to place undercover at the time of the discovery so, since he just returned from an assignment and needed to decompress, he figured he’d take the job on himself.

The TV shows out that showed cases being solved in a day wasn’t realistic. It took a long time for his people to find what they needed, but they did. It could take weeks, even months, to gather every piece of evidence, every proof of a crime, in order to get warrants and make an arrest. The hard work that Josh and his team put in uncovered that there were three men and a woman involved in the illegal investments and had been doing so for a number of years. They were going to make the arrest, giving the Pittsburgh’s FBI field office the opportunity to do the honors, when the money disappeared from the account they were monitoring.

It seemed something else was in the works. So instead of ending the assignments, Josh’s bosses needed more intelligence on who was responsible for the shell company and where the money went. The hope was to find out if the person responsible for the treason act of supporting terrorists would lead them to someone with more power.

Misty found one of the bad guys meeting someone at LeMonts the other night and needed a date. Josh had just come back in town to meet with Kenya when Misty begged him to go with her.

“Come on, you know we have great chemistry, and I have to sell this legend or this case will go to shit.”

Misty’s legend was a future investor who had a need to fund more radical causes. Once she put the word out for her need, she got a few bites, especially when she hinted her interest in Africa; Somalia to be exact. She wanted a chance meeting and needed her South African husband to be there with her. They needed to keep the cover of being extremely wealthy but under the radar. So Josh dressed for the part, put on a $20,000 watch and wined and dined with his fake wife, Misty.

He knew there would be a chance he would run into Kenya, so he made sure she was off the day he went. Little did he know that his Intel was flawed, and she would be there covering for someone that night.

Thinking about the pain on her beautiful face when she’d seen him all over Misty broke his own heart. Misty was a beautiful woman, but he had never wanted to be with her any other way than partners. They’d known each other for years and had worked closely together the entire time. But he had to admit, they both could fake it with the best of them. As a matter of fact, a lot of their colleagues had bets that they had either slept together before or would soon.

However, they never had and never would. Josh and Misty just never connected that way. They were more like brother and sister and rather liked their relationship the way it was.

When Kenya bolted from the room, he couldn’t jump up instantly because they had eyes on them the whole time. Their target spotted them a long time ago, and they were just waiting to either be approached or approach themselves. No, Josh had to be calm and calculated. He excused himself from the table, saying he needed to use the rest room and went in search of Kenya.

He knew there was nothing he could do to fix what she saw, but he tried anyway. He tried again the next day, however, she never responded, and Josh reached his patience limit. He was never the type to possess patience. And even though, in the end he got partly what he wanted looking over at her quiet frame, he wished he listened to his parents and superiors and learned a better way of dealing with people when his patience was gone.

He emerged off of the Birmingham Bridge and made a right. After passing 22
nd
Street, he turned into a parking lot behind a light tan building and shut the engine off. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his ID and attached it to his jacket.

“We’ll only be here a minute. I need to get an update from my team then we can go and do whatever you want.”

He watched Kenya’s eyes look at his ID on his chest then her eyes grew large.

“Wait, Josh…”

Josh saw her hand shaking slightly, and he immediately took it in his.

“Kenya, I only brought you here so you can see that I am who I say I am. I want you to meet my team and Misty. The woman I was with last night. There’s nothing to be afraid of, no one will hurt you or let harm come to you here.”

Her breathing started to become erratic, so Josh got out of his car, walked around to her side and opened the door. He unbuckled her seatbelt and pulled her out of the car and into his embrace.

“Kenya, I need you to trust me.” He pulled her back and cupped her chin between his two fingers. “I want to officially introduce you to who I am. I want you to know everything about me, and I hope if you do know me, you’ll tell me everything about you.”

“You seem to know everything…” she added an eye roll after her response, remembering he used her birth given name last night and just a few seconds ago.

“I know the basics, but I don’t know everything. But I really want to.”

He leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips once then twice, and by the fourth time he felt her relax.

He took her hand in his and kissed it and led her to the building. The moment they entered the building they were met with security. Josh signed her in, and they gave her a temporary ID. He then guided her to another security checkpoint in order to go through a metal detector. Josh removed his keys, his wallet, and from behind his back he pulled out his SIG Sauer P229 service weapon and placed it in a bowl that the security guard held out for him.
