Everyone at the bank is the typical ugh it’s Monday and for once she’s OK with that.  Plugging into her work she doesn’t notice that Mr. Bradshaw has approached until he slightly gives her the ‘a hum’ to notice he is in her presence.

“Sorry Mr. Bradshaw, I didn’t realize you were standing there.  How can I be of assistance?” putting on the professional face.

“Miss Whine, would you mind accompanying me to my office, I have something I need to discuss with you?”

“Absolutely, let me just lock up and I will be right over.” her heart is pounding as she locks up the teller drawer.  The girls beside her look anxious with thumbs up.  Could it be, it seems like only yesterday she applied, do they know something?  Her head is spinning with questions as she enters his office.

Smiling brightly, he tells her to take a seat “Well Ms. Whine I have the pleasure of telling you that the position of a full time employee of this bank is yours if you would like to take it!” nothing like cutting to the chase and being happy about it equally she can’t keep her excitement down.

“Well I would be very delighted to take that position, may I ask what the hours will be so I may adjust my schedule.  I am also aware of the benefits package that comes with this position so I will also need to inform my other part time employer that I can no longer work for them.” Being professional you have to be precise without jumping out of your shoes when you hear excellent news.

Mr. Bradshaw is grinning going over the whole benefits package which will kick in as soon as she starts the full time position with the details of the new job.  She listens intently and even asks for a sheet of paper to take notes so she doesn’t forget anything.  He is impressed by her professionalism making sure she writes everything down that is prudent to this new position including the extra training that she will be receiving at the corporate office before she is officially back here at the branch to work.  Making notes, thanking Mr. Bradshaw for giving her the opportunity to prove herself to this company.  We do a formal hand shake with his congratulations walking out with her head held high.

Life cannot get any better than this, landing the job she wanted plus having a sexy hot blooded boyfriend.  Her world has gone from good to awesome.  She can’t wait to tell everyone at home.  Her only regret will be telling Sam and Nina that she can’t work anymore but knows they will accept it gracefully and wish her luck.

Brandy is heading to her car after finishing work she tm Nathan, Tiffany, and Mikey who always tells Pete everything so she doesn’t need to tell them both about the great news.  She knows they will all respond with positive words of encouragement gloating slightly with her accomplishment.  She decides it’s time to call mom and dad to tell them about everything including Nathan.  It’s been a couple of weeks since she has spoken to them since mom will eventually call her if she doesn’t call them every few weeks or so.

Mom is excited to hear from her and even more so about the job she landed.  She is so proud
of her as dad is piping into the conversation behind her saying that’s my little girl.  She is giving dad blow by blow as we speak so he knows what is going on.  They are so cute.  Telling her mom to make sure Candy knows too promising she will call her during the week to talk to her herself.  Now she has to tell her about Nathan.  It shouldn’t be that difficult but she never really talked to mom about boys or really boyfriends.

“Well mom, now that I got the job thing out of the way I need to tell you something else” pausing to gage her reaction.

“You’re not sick or anything are you sweetie?” she implores being a loving mother.

“No, I’m not sick, I just want to let you know I met someone, someone special” pausing again to wait for her reaction.

“Really, that is so nice honey, what is his name?’

“His name is Nathan and he is from Australia.” she plugs in

“Australia? That’s really far from here, not that it matters exactly but can I assume his family is still in Australia?” she asks

“Yes they are, I haven’t met them yet but don’t worry mom, we are just dating and he is really nice.  If things go well between us I would like you to meet him, ok?”

“Sweetie, that sounds like a good idea.  I know you are smart and you are taking precautions so be careful and be happy.  We are always here if you need us ok?” Oh my mom thinking precautions she is a swift women even at her age, God love her.

“Yes mom and I hope you do have an opportunity to meet.  I love you both tell dad and give him a big kiss and hug for me ok?” sighing missing them every time she talks to her because she knows they love her so much.

“I will sweet heart and be good, remember you are special in every way.  We all love you too! Now take care and call me soon to let me know how
everything
is going.” noting she means more than the job wanting to reach out over the phone and hug her.

“I will mom, I promise.  Talk to you soon.” already missing her as she hangs up.

You can never figure out how parents can do that to you and we just feel it.  To Brandy she is the best mom ever and always supportive.  Dad is too but he is the silent one.  He supports us but he doesn’t always have the words to go along with that support.  He has the love and he shows it all the time to us girls with hugs and smiles, just not knowing what to say.  He leaves that to mom.

With her mom’s last note in her head she thinks about how wonderful her life become.  Nathan is more than she ever expected in her life.  He fills in that missing part in her heart.  She is a little surprised at how much she needed that part to make her complete but he does complete her and it feels awesome.  Taking a deep breath, she still needs to take it slow her subconscious comes around to tell her so.  It’s just the beginning but what an exciting beginning we have had.  Cherishing her thoughts of him, the way he makes her feel but the other side of her warns not to drop head over heels.  She is in negotiation with herself when she receives a tm from her man.

“I miss you already, that is GREAT news and let me know how it goes! Promise?”

Brandy smiles
because his enthusiasm enlightens her more than everyone else as her heart races since she was just thinking of him. Wishing he was here now to hug her, she replies “If you were here right now I would wrap my arms around you and jump for joy when I told you the awesome news.  My training starts this week and I’m really excited.  Tiffany isn’t home yet but I let her and Mikey know about the news also. I miss you too!”

Settling down to just absorb what is happing in her life as she changes into her favorite comfy PJ’s and there is a knock on the door. Slightly perplexed walking over and ask who it is as she tries to peek thru the peep hole.  “It’s me, Nathan” he says.  Did he really show up unexpected wow totally floored looking into the peep hole and see it is him.  Opening the door wondering why he is here.

He smiles at her saying “I thought you were going to wrap your arms around me and jump for joy!” and she does exactly that as he enters. 

“You have totally caught me off guard; I really didn’t expect you to show up at my door!” she exclaim while her phone starts to go off with tm’s as her friends are finally responding to her earlier tms.  She chuckles as she reads them.  “You know most people just respond they don’t normally show up at my doorstep, not that I mind the fact that you have.” raising an eyebrow to him but so delighted that he is here.

Behind his back he pulls out a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers “Congratulations on your promotion.” He tells her so sweetly which explains why both his arms didn’t embrace her and she is floored again.

“Really you didn’t have to do that but I’m really thankful. You really are so sweet” as she takes the gifts giving him another warm hug.  Shyly smiling as she looks at him through her lashes trying to control her enthusiasm for his compassionate ways.  She never expected this slightly unease but liking his surprised visit to congratulate her on the accomplishment.  It is so unexpected.

He breaks her away from this unexpected moment giving her huge hug with a sweet kiss, “You have worked so hard to accomplish this from what you have told me, you deserve to relish the moment and I wanted more than anything to help you celebrate if that’s ok?”

Her head is spinning because of course it’s ok you just made this day even better.
“OK but we both have to work tomorrow, I need to start getting a heads up on my new job, but all of that aside, I am really glad you’re here,” biting her lip asking “it’s getting late did you just want to get comfortable and stay?” trying to make it sound like a cuddle and hang out night so we are not exhausted in the morning.

“You know what, I would, promise just a cuddle night since we both have to work in the morning how does that sound?” like he just read her mind, man oh man he is perfect in so many ways.

We pop open the bottle of Champagne get comfy and make a toast to her success.   She replies to her friends who have responded during this time with Nathan and let Tiffany know that he is hanging with her so she isn’t surprised when she gets home.  We cuddle on the couch together in comfy clothes.

“Hey Nathan” because she noticed he has really planned on coming over since he brought something to change into. “It seems to me that you
’re getting very comfortable sleeping with me during the night?” questioning him sweetly.  “I see you brought extra clothes, not that I mind.” Not wanting him to feel uncomfortable since she really likes his company.

“Yea, you kind of got me there.” He smiles looking at her affectionately “You make me comfortable and I really like being with you.  I hope you don’t mind?” looking a little concerned.

“No that’s fine and I really enjoy your company too.” Biting her lip “Do you miss home at all?” trying to find out how long she has him for because this is a really new relationship which feels better than she expected.

“Sometimes my friends and family but I am growing to like this area very much because of you.” He states kissing her on the head. “For some reason I just can’t get enough of you and I feel whole when I’m around you.  I hope that doesn’t scare you by me saying that?” again with the concerned look.

“No it doesn’t scare me; I really enjoy your company too.” Ok just say it “What scares me is that I know you are only here for a short period of time.  I know we don’t really know each other that well yet but I really enjoy being around you too.  The shortness of our relationship is the scary part.”  It’s her turn to look concerned.

“Well” as he looks up tapping his chin with his finger, “Things can change about that so let’s just take one day at a time and enjoy what is here and now.  How does that sound.  It’s kind of like living for the moment.” Looking into her eyes and warming her heart once again.

“That sounds perfect, just don’t leave on a whim and not tell me, ok?” feeling a little better that has cleared out of her head.

“Done deal” and he gives her a kiss on the lips to seal the deal.

“I hope you don’t seal all your deals in business with a kiss” she jokes as we pull away.  He chuckles with his sweet dimples.

“Only with my deals with you, sweetie, No one else gets that privilege” kissing her again with a warm hug that makes her sigh with complicity.

We both relax and watch some television for a little while.  After the news we snuggle into her bed and a big part of her wants to rip off his boxers but instead she enjoys just the closeness of feeling him next to right now.  Relaxing with every touch she gives him as he just rubs her arm back in return.   It’s so sensual but at the same time so relaxing she falls asleep holding the most perfect man she can ever be with.

Start her new training for the position with Pam still here will be a great help, so Mr. Bradshaw has increased her hours to be around Pam more before she leaves for her new job position.  She is excited too about her career move which Brandy is happy for her too.

She tells her all about what new tasks she will be taking on as she goes over what she needs to learn for her new job.  She is really patient and answers all her questions.  The week is going to be busy so glad she is done with school so she can devote her time to studying her new job. Pam is leaving on Friday so she keeps going over things with her even though next week Brandy will be going to corporate for a week of full time work to get their formal training in her head also. 

Calling Nathan everyday and he has been having a crazy week also.  By Thursday she makes a stop at Arnolds to tell Sam and Nina that she has gotten the full time position at the bank with tears in her eyes expressing that she will have to give them her two weeks’ notice.  We hug and they express how much they will miss her but they completely understand.  If she ever needs anything they tell her to always feel welcome.  They are so much like her parents it breaks her heart to say goodbye.  Sniffling as she leaves to go home after another exhausting day she gets a tm from Nathan.

“Hey are you home yet? I need to talk to you about something” amused but that’s her Nathan.
She seems to be thinking that more and more lately like he is hers, it’s weird but comforting
. She tm back.

“Just stopped by at Arnolds to say goodbye with a two week notice, I’ll call you when I am home since I follow the rules and don’t tm or talk on my cell while driving ok?”
